A lot of local bike shops have nothing but attitude (looking at you D&D), especially when they get busy, and especially (especially!) if you didn’t buy your bike there. This place had none of the attitude, quick service, fair prices. Very friendly

Its awesome buying a bike from guys and gals who know their stuff!Hunter was an awesome help answering all my questions, allowing me to test drive the bike, and helping me feel comfortable with my purchase.I didnt feel like an outsider even though Im new to cycling. We adjusted the gears, brakes, and seat so I was ready to ride when I left the shop and the experience was very enjoyable.

Ive been going to Evergreen very regularly for bike repairs following the purchase of a bike 3 years ago. When purchasing my bike, they took me seriously. They helped me interpret the geometry specifications of the bike I was considering to make sure that it would be comfortable and what I would want for the type of riding (mountain biking). There was no pressure to buy and I left to think about it. They went ahead and ordered it since the quantities were very limited, so when I called to say I was interested in buying it, they already had it on the way. I was able to test ride it prior to committing to the purchase, so I felt very comfortable buying it.I ride A LOT, so their quick turnaround and knowledgeable service is an enormous asset along with being close proximity to my job (MSU). I also get work done at another local shop and Ive never been given a hard time by either about work done by the other. In fact, Evergreen has called the other shop to get information and also help correct a mistake and was completely professional in the process. Great, great bike shop.

A great local bike shop that was wonderful to deal with for the new Cervelo I purchased. I would recommend them highly as they were honest, timely and I had absolutely no issues whatsoever. Even though they are located deep in the heart of the enemy (Go Blue), Id still strongly recommend them. Oh, and Go Blue.

Once you own a bike, the reasons for going to a shop are for service, repairs, and accessories. The staff at Evergreen are great in the former and have more than you could want in the latter. If youre so inclined you can work on your own bike here. Theres a work bench with tools provided.Because of the small footprint the new bike selection is somewhat limited but more than adequate.

Extremely satisfied with the service at Evergreen! My bikes brakes werent working like they used to so I brought them in for Hunter to take a look at. For a reasonable price and in only 45 minutes, Hunter adjusted the breaks and they were EVEN BETTER than when I first purchased the bike. Theres no better place to go for bike repairs!

I needed to a rear rack for my bike. They have decent selections and an associate quickly approached and assisted me as soon as I walked inside. He also helped me install it on the spot. Professional and efficient. Would recommend.

One of the best EL bike shops. Go here over the bike shop on campus. Knowledgeable, friendly staff (and dog), reasonable prices, will help minor issues for free. Helped me with a bottom bracket issue. A great LBS for riders in the area.

Easily the best bike shop Ive been to, local and otherwise. All work is done in an open space where customers may watch; no smoke or screens here make for a very honest environment. The labor rates are obscenely low, and if something doesnt work out the first time, (thats just how life is sometimes) theyll make sure its made right. The shops so good, I made a g+ account just to write this review!

My experience w/ Evergreen Cycle was nothing short of exceptional. Great service from an honest shop. Based on other reviews, I had high hopes for Evergreen; to my surprise, they lived up to the hype and lived up to their reputation. My old bike has been brought back to life, renewing my affection for riding. Much appreciation for the work performed and the level of customer service by Hunter and his staff. Highly recommend!

Hunter has repaired my bicycles and provided helpful information about how to do self maintenance for the past 4 years. I wouldnt take my bike anywhere else! I would definitely recommend getting a tune-up at the shop. He looks over every single nut and bolt on the bicycle. You wont be disappointed!

The biggest appeal that Evergreen has to me is that Hunter, the owner and operator, cares about his customers. Hes the only one in the shop and he makes sure that everybody coming through the door gets great service, great products at great prices. And if he doesnt have what you want in stock, hell order it for you without hesitation. I probably go to Hunters shop once a week, even if I dont need anything done to my bikes, just to talk about parts and ideas for upgrades. I seriously recommend that you give Hunter your business over the more commercialized and oversized shops that are around town - you wont regret it.

The guys at Evergreen are awesome. They know their bikes and provide excellent advice and service. It is important to note that these guys dont sell cheap parts but rather quality parts and an affordable price. I was impressed with their transparency on their pricing and coupled with good advice that you can trust, its hands down the best place to buy a bike or components in this area. Also, did you know that this shop provides a workstation for anyone who wants to come in and wrench on their own bike....ummmm....for free!?!?! I just wrenched on my own bike for a few hours and had a great time doing it. I can see how the owner, Hunter, is not just interested in providing a retail space and service for bicycles, but rather trying to create a hub for people who have a passion for cycling (experienced or inexperienced alike!). Oh, and there is zero pretentiousness at this shop so youll totally feel welcome, regardless of your experience with bikes. At the very least, you should go check them out before heading to the other local shops.

I had a fantastic experience today with Evergreen. They replaced a wheel and brakes, as well as several other adjustments, all in under an hour! My bike is not only fixed, but in the best shape its been in years. Great job!

Awesome bike shop in an area that has been STARVED for it since Velocipede moved out toward Frandor. I had them do a bunch of maintenance work on my bike and they were professional, fast and reasonably priced. Im glad to see that theyve expanded, couldnt happen to a better business!

Favorite bike shop in East Lansing areaFriendly employees, and most of the time Ive come in with a minor issue theyve been able to fix it right away. They even have a repair stand with tools for customers with know-how to try repairs themselves. Ive had special orders placed with them, too, and it went well.

These guys are great! Ive never had to take a bike in for repair before, so I wasnt really sure what to expect, but he took one look at my bike, listened to what was wrong (old, worn-out tires), and replaced it in under 15 minutes! Doing it myself wouldve taken me over an hour (no joke- Ive done it before). Moreover, both employees were incredibly friendly while we waited, and the pricing was fair.They also had a doggo in the shop, which might have biased me a little. Definitely reccommend!

Great place, quick service, and friendly people. Was 7 bucks for a new tube, 15 for a new tire, 5 for labor so pretty reasonable pricing I think.

They offer a FREE DIY station. All the tools you need are there. Way much better than the DIY stations that MSU bike shop place on campus. Best place in town for bike DIYers.
