A good discount home improvement store with a variety of products to meet household needs. I used to love their clipper coupons in the past - I do find their website and the coupons listed there tougher to search for what I am looking to buy. However the employees have always been friendly and helpful, and Ive still gotten good deals on solid products.

This store is well stocked.The people are cool and the clearance prices are good.The store closes a little early, so get there before 8 during the week and 6pm on the weekends.

Prices have increased substantially and the quality is lacking. Recently it’s been really bad. I have spent a lot of money here over the years but have vowed notto shop here anymore. Much better stuff available elsewhere at reasonable prices (like Amazon with quick delivery). Typical cheap M.I.C. products many of which fail right away. Overpriced for the most part in my opinion. Be careful with their restocking fees even on smaller unopened items. They are extorting easy money from returns. Shame on your harbor freight! Keep it up and I’m sure you will lose tons of business.

A month ago I bought a transfer pump. The pump broke down during the second use. It turned out that I could not change the pump in the store and that I had to call to return the purchase. After waiting an hour on the phone, I gave up. Terrible service and quality of goods. Ask about the return policies before paying for your purchase.

The stuff is definitely lower in quality than other major supply stores but the prices are more affordable. Check them out

Called with a simple warranty question and was put on hold. I hung up after 35 minutes. You just lost a good customer.

Exactly what you expected. Cheap tools, hit or miss. Some last longer and some last one or two times before it craps out. Not the best quality tools but it does the job when you are on budget.

Prices are creeping up and quality is acceptable. The real issue is they go to excessive lengths to make it challenging to return stuff. To be honest most of the time I can buy craftsman tools for same prices and have no hassle no bs return policy. My opinion is dont buy it here unless you are willing to through away cause the return policy it is a joke, and not a good one either.

As usual great prices and cool, useful products like any Harbor Freight. I even got a ver bright solar powered motion activated LED security light for $12 for my porch which you can just stick on the wall to install.

I called to see of they had something in stock that the website said was in stock. So I wanted to check anyway. I was put on hold for a very long time. I hung up and called again with a immediate response please hold. If anything tell the customer your busy or call a sister store.

I couldnt tell you if it varies from store to store, or what? But the prices here are not that bad. This store seems a little smaller than the one in Woodbridge. Its nice and clean, and friendly. The employees are awesome. They help out if needed fast. Theres plenty of parking, and wheelchair accessible. I hope this helps you. Thank you

They sell tools on different levels. Some are good for pros down to tools for regular lite duty jobs around the house.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been a regular of Harbor Freight for years and have shopped them through 4 states. I walked into the East Brunswick store for a generator about 15 minutes before close. The guy told me upon entry they were sold out. I walked back because he said I could check for myself and found an abundance of the generator I wanted and others still in stock. When I got to the register, it wasn’t the greatest experience and heard poor service being delivered to other customers. They were telling more customers to come back another day. If I had listened, I would have gone to a different retailer to give them my money for a generator. This location really needs a wake up call that competition is stiff. I could go elsewhere if they don’t want to help.

I was in the store for just a few minutes before I decided to ask an employee where the shop-vacs were. She showed me and less than ten minutes I was checked out and putting it in my car. Love this place. Very friendly people workin together there also.

Harbor freight has some good value on tools. Certain lines are good for pros, while others may only be good for a home diy.Make sure you have your coupons and you can save even more.

Ok, first timer there. Sales people friendly,looked pretty stocked. I bought 2 items and they only let me use this 20 % off coupon on one item. They said I could come back tomorrow and use it again. Ridiculous, why not let shopoers use as many coupons as they have, like Harmons. Ive noticed harbor freight has coupons everywhere, let us use what we have, or better idea, just give us all 20% off our purchase just for coming into the store!!

Friendly staff. They did not have what I wanted in stock. Their is no option to pay online and have the store hold it, or have it delivered to the store. If you purchase online, you have to pay for shipping. Highly inconvenient and potentially expensive (shipping for Motorcycle Lift) shipping for items that have to be shipped to your home

I could spend an hour in here easily. so many inexpensive options for everyday use items. not the best quality out there, but very good for the price!

They need more staff, everytime I go I always have to hunt an employee down to ask a question about an item

Deals. Deals. Deals. Make sure you check for those coupons, someone made an app just for HFcoupons. Oh and I did the math, the Inside track club is really worth it if you run a shop of any kind. Staff here were super friendly and helped me maximize my spendings. Dont get me wrong, a lot of their tools wont hold up to serious wear, but, if you take care of them youll definitely get your $s worth and then some.

Change store hours online! Great store great prices but save people the trouble of going there if your your not open till 9:00 p.m. every day on the website

Best place to buy cheap tools and other stuff.

This was my first visit and got their 32 piece toolset that came at an very good deal of 8.15$ with taxes.. impressed with their discounted offer and store in general.

Organized and clean! For the average handyman I think this is a great place to get tools and supplies. I also like the fact they have miscellaneous sections like garden, pets, and rc toy sections! Truly feels like they have a little of everything for everyone at an affordable price.

Just there this morning. Looks like new management.. place is alive with helpful employees, well organized. And its next door to a dollar tree and a big lot store.. newly resurfaced parking lot. You can get a lot of useful things quickly.. and if they dont have it, there is a Lowes about a half mile away on same side of route 18.

Aisles were well labeled, found what I needed very quickly, good prices. Quality seems to be OK bur who knows for the long run.

Awful customer service. Long lines and I bought a tire changer that was missing parts. The return process is horrendous. Shop at Lowes.

Manager blew me off several times after waisting over an hour and half and willing to buy the more expensive item of more then twice the price still blew me off. Complete jerk and Horrible experience. Then tried to direct me to a further store away although I was willing to buy more expensive item.

Been able to find alot of household items at good affordable prices. Staff are very helpful. You can find all things here pretty quickly such as paint sprayers, tarp, moving dollies, magnet sweeper (very handy after youve had a construction crew renovate at your house), string lights, ladders, power washers, masks, 9 mil disposable gloves, welding items, safety items, work benches, flashlights, garden tools, and more!

Tools at an affordable price. Its a great alternative if you dont use tools all that much. For light to normal use around the house, I would recommend checking here as cheaper tools can be found here as opposed to other big name stores.

They like to close the doors early before closing. While I was walking up to the doors an employee said 5mins. Before closing. It really was 13 minutes before closing. I know they want to go home but stick to the stores hours.

Love this place! They have a wide selection of tools at great prices, and their free monthly catalog includes a 20% off coupon for the most expensive item. One caution... I have a rule of thumb with Harbor Freight that has served me well; I never buy anything that is supposed to be sharp unless someone I know well recommends it. I have been burned by soft taps, a cable cutter that was destroyed after one use, etc. I CAN recommend their 115 pcs cobalt drill bit set... I have had it over 5 years and it is great! If you are into tools, you HAVE to visit here!

I bought a hedge trimmer. It malfunctioned almost as soon as I got it home. The second one did not work at all. Im sticking to their hand tools, which are reliable.

The best. I got a email about a urgent blowout sale. Went down to the local harbor freight and got me exactly what I wanted and at the price too.

I bought a 4 drawer tool cart due to a coupon I found online where it was a pretty sweet deal. When I got home and opened the box the tool cart was all bent out of shape like someone dropped it. I went to return it a day later straight after I got out of work, and just got there before closing time. Before I even had the chance to walk threw the door one of the employees was standing there telling me that they are about to close and that I’m being a huge inconvenience to them and complaining that I have such a huge item that he has to deal with because they close in 15min. Mind you I had to drive a half hour each way and having to carry a tool cart that is over 100lbs and this guy has the nerve to act like I’m the one being inconvenient. Of course they didn’t have another one in stock and the coupon I used expires in 2 days and the guy is no help at all and just tells me to go to another store like there’s another one just conveniently located somewhere near by. I will never give this place anymore business ever again. And I use to be a frequent customer here.
