Nice store, good variety

This stores very clean, organized, wide variety of items to choose from. I was able to get sales help quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Was able to purchase the furniture immediately and made arrangements with the delivery service before leaving the store.

Not mad but I’m sad, I mean guys what’s happening here? Who like to get a bad review and who wants to give a bad review? I understand retail is not an easy job. I understand Covid19 masks and all are extra burden but store was literally empty and there were 5 associates on the floor. My wife and I searched on internet for some future and found this big lot has a section. We needed some assistance to know the differences of sets and weather we can get a military discount etc. I walked and politely asked the cashier we need some help in furniture she said she will ask for assistance I went back and on my way asked another associate we need help here and there were three associates who were working a few lanes from us talking, laughing out loud having fun back and forth looking at us that we need help but none has common courtesy to reach out and ask if we need any help. I went back and asked the manager or cashier who ever she was that could she please help us we need some help in furniture she announced again and no one came to help us. I said to my wife let’s go hun we are not buying anything here. I saw that lady on my way out again and told her this is the worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life and I’ll leave a google review which they will love. She started announcing that customer is leaving and would leave a bad review I heard some sir! sir! behind me and I said I am not coming back thank you.So what’s going on? Is big lot paying peanuts that they are only attacking zombie dead motivated employees? Or they have no customer service training at all? Or it is the way they are store was already empty and if they keep the same customer service how the business is ever going high? If someone knows the answer please let me know

I bought a sofa set from this big lot. I found out that they dont deliver.. they asked me to use a 3rd party delivery and handed me a photo copied document with 3rdnparty delivery company. I was not comfortable using them.. I was told that I can pick it up in my mini van without a problem. When I arrived to pickup, the guy at the entrance (manager) looked puzzled since it was 30 min to closing. No one told us that we need to come earlier. I asked the furniture guy if it will easily fit the van, he said yeah. As he wheeled it out, he told me that he will not get close to the can and pretty much left it on the sidewalk. Sofa was pretty heavy and if I had known that I would have never opted to pick up on my own. I had to make 2 trips and almost damaged my sofa. Guys at the store watched us struggling but did not come to give a hand. I will not buy furniture from this place again.

I was looking for a few kick knacks and on a whim popped into this store as I was driving down on 18. I should say I was pleasantly surprised. It is a packed but kind of lonely store. There are very few attendants and if by chance you do run into one they are very knowledgeable. Prices are not cheap but you do get strange stuff if shopping for that kind of thing gives you kicks. I bought some spray paint, bulbs, ointment and paper flowers for a function I was attending in our local community hall.

Always something on sale. Love when they send me additional discount coupons on top of what they already have a low price on.Cant beat this place of you know your prices 🙂

A wide selection makes it a great choice of department store, but the cashiers have a very small area to work with so its not ideal for a large haul.

Nice place for one stop shop. The one cashier forgot her name she’s a older lady with short black hair.. she’s always in a good mood and friendly

Worst customer service anywhere. Got three kids working hanging out as my wife and I were looming at patio furniture. We saw this one set that turns out to be last one left not getting any more. When asked if we can buy the floor model at a discount the kid asks another worker can we do that and was told no. When asked to speak with a manager he said we are both managers? (Plus he didn’t have manager on his name tag). They couldn’t bother to even help us . We see another set they have none left we asked the third worker we saw if any other stores carry them was told “well you can call”. We asked can you call for us, she did and said they will hold it for you.We goto the freehold location and asked them if we see a floor model can we get for discount and was told yes manager usually takes something off. Not only was every employee in THAT FREEHOLD location helpful but also nice. A grown up should really be working here and not use this as a day care I meant kid employees who don’t care. Just three kids hanging out talking as we are looking for help

This store just opened up, they have almost everything in there its like a one stop shop. Ex.food,furniture,home items,decor,toys. Its also clean and organized nicely.

Kind of like a K mart without the clothes section. Got a little bit of everything. They have a furniture section too. Decent prices. But you get what you pay for in most cases.

The store is smaller than the one in Old Bridge but still offers a lot of choices. The women’s bathroom is consistently messy during my last few visits. I reached to grab a toilet seat cover to find someone had stuffed a tampon in there. Freakin’ nasty. Went to another stall and there was poop smeared on the seat. Seriously? They need to keep the bathrooms clean.

After getting blown off at Mattress Firm I came to Big Lots what the same mattress half the price I love this place

I loved this shop we were buying a room and when paying we got a discount for my daughters rewars card and x birthday and we left paying with faxes guarantee and all the same that the room cost at the price tagged and has everything I really like
