As a stationery lover I am insanely impressed with the selection of stationery they have! They surprisingly have fountain pens, even when other stores like Target or Walmart dont carry them! They also have pens from Japan like Uniball Signo gel pens and Marvy Brush Pens which are amazing and great quality!The interesting thing is that a few years ago, I came here and bought a pack of different brush pens, but they were really low quality. A few years later, they have these Japanese brush pens which work marvelously, almost better than my $20 Amazon ones! Im insanely impressed, but also interested in what changed with what items they chose to stock.

Had to return a pair of beach shoes that were too big and the store cashier was so understanding. They were out of my size so the cashier gladly gave me a refund. I will definitely keep shopping at 5 Below in the near future.

Okay, heres how Ill put this place down.Their variety to me is not as good, as per se Dollar Tree. I could find mostly stuff that I dont need such as candy, those toys that no one pays attention to. I could find barely any good clothing here. I can find stuff for summertime such as boogie boards, goggles. surfboards. You get the idea. Staff is moderately friendly. Theyre very unemployed, as no one came to ask if I can find everything. Ill just say go here before summer to get some gear!

The store itself is fine however one of the idiot cashiers completely skipped me and allowed one of her friends to cut the line. There was no apology or explanation, I hope she is exposed for her unscrupulous behavior.

Sean the manager of the East Brunswick NJ Store is such an awesome guy! My daughter absolutley loves five Below and he did something that will be a memory for her forever. He was so easy to deal with and he worked with me to make my daughter feel really specail on her 9th birthday. His Assistant Manager and employee were so easy and helpful to me on this particular day. Thank you Five Below for making my daughters 9th Birthday an unbelievable event. Lots of cool stuff here, only thing is cashiers can be stingy with their plastic shopping bags, always stuffing everything into 1 single bag and i can see things poking thru the bag, and my chips and fragile snacks are crushed in the bottom
