Its amazing all the different costumes and party products this store offers and has in stock. There are aisles and aisles of things for all kinds of parties and for all ages. I asked an employee for something I was looking for and she knew exactly where it was. She was very friendly and I was in and out of the store within a few minutes. The prices are not the least expensive but they are not the most expensive. Overall a positive experience.

Had a pretty good selection for what i needed. Loved the service, they were helpful and accommodating. Very genuine and great service.

Bad customer service. Purchased invitations and realized they were blank inside. Wanted something that I could just fill in the invitation. I called and asked if I can bring them back and exchange for a different one. They said NO. Ok whatever but they were very pricey.. now I cant use them as there are to many to have to hand wrote everything out. Name, church address,, date, and address for the party after. Will not be returning here

I got what I needed thanks to the nice gentleman who helped me change my first selection that was way too pricey for the unicorn themed birthday items. The woman in there has an awful attitude and the worst customer service. There was some advertisement for half off designed prints for plates, cups etc. and she was yelling at me that they weren’t applicable to the ones I picked, how the hell would I know what is applicable If the sign is just hanging in the aisle? Apparently the sign only referred to some Hawaiian themed set! It’s not worth the trouble for the prices, if you have an alternative place to go then do that.

Always find what I need here compared to other party stores. Plus the staff is so friendly!

Balloons were awesome

I went to Party Fair today with my three children ( ages 2,5,6). From the MOMENT I walked in the door I was followed by an employee up and down two aisles. This was after she asked if I needed help and I said no. I was looking for a theme both the big kids could agree on for a trick or treat table we had to decorate. So we decided the best way to agree was once we saw everything. We decided on a justice league theme and proceeded to fill our cart. An employee (a different one) stood behind me the ENTIRE time again. Next, we circled back to grab some extra items I needed to complete the table decorations. We stopped for a second to look at the party favors and ( yet another new employee) talked directly to my 2 year old saying, you better not rip that. Mind you nothing was ripped at all. I told him that we were followed and treated in a manner that our business was unwanted from the moment we walked into the store. I put every item back, in its original place, the $100 worth of merchandise we had in our cart. No wonder the store is empty. Never going again.

The customer service in this place is horrible. I got to the store around 9:20am and the lady rudely pointed to the time to hint that they did not open up until 9:30am. I waited until 9:30 and went to the door, and it was locked. The lady approached and told me that they couldn’t open the store until they turned the lights on. How outrageous is that. She was trying to be spiteful. Once in the store they gave me a lot of attitude and were just FLAT OUT RUDE!!! I got what I needed which were the same balloons I purchased a week ago for my daughter’s party and the sales rep did not know the price, so the two of them started creating prices off of the top of their heads. They told me they were 6 for $3.99, and I told them that I purchased the same balloons for 15 cents each last week, and asked why the price went up. I was told that they are better quality. That was an absolute lie. They were the same exact balloons with the same exact quality. This place will not get any more money from me!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I went to party fair today which is out the way because party city is closer trying to support small businesses at a time like this and about ten minutes into shopping one of the inbred twins started to stalk my family at one point just standing right behind my 2yrs with her hand on her hip. My partner turns and says like idk if your following us but we dont need any help, the lady says ok and walks off -_‐ smh she was really aggressive and seemed upset. I will not be returning

This store is decent. Note that if you are getting a specific balloon with an age on it, it only has the first 18 years and the major milestone years. Dont depend on it have your age. The store has lots of items that are good for horror decoration / Halloween decoration.

Do not shop here!!! I just went to get balloons- the sales associate said “you want this blown up NOW?” And rolled her eyes and scoffed out loud. So blatantly rude. Avoid this place at all cost.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! This is my first review I have ever written and hopefully the last. I use to shop here for years for my DJ business. I was a regular customer spending 100s and 100s of dollars annually. By accident I over booked some items from Party Fair for a private event I was hired to do. A day later I returned to the store to return some items, (It was around $40 of products) Right away a very good employee who rang me up the day before recognized me and informed me a manager would have to approve the returns without a receipt which unfortunately I did not have. The receipt was not an itemized receipt it was just numbers and tax per item but not listing the specific item. All the items I was returning were in their original packaging with the Party Fair price stickers still on each item. The items I was returning also met the requirements posted on their very own website. The very second I was greeted to the manager I was faced with the most negative attitude I have ever seen on one person. I have seen her before and I know she recognized me. Before I can even finish my intentions she cut me off and told me she can not give any refund without a receipt. I asked why, She replied I do not know if you paid cash or credit. I pointed to the clerk who helped me out the day before, he said to the manager that yes I paid for those items the day before in cash. She then insisted I can not get a refund because for all she knows I bought them at another store. I pointed to each item and showed them the Party Fair price tags. She replied it could of been another Party Fair. The manager made me feel very petty. Why is the receipt such a big deal when it is not even an itemized receipt? She could not give me an answer to that one... If this is how she treats her regular customers I can only imagine how she treats someone she does not recognize. An employees words who vowed for me to his boss gave no credit to her. Her attitude and non professional manor is the entire reason I write this review. I will never shop here again for my business needs and I suggest you do the same. Very very poor customer relations.

Party Fair has a LOT of stuff and the prices are very low. I now go there for all my Party Stuff. Check them out, you wont be disappointed.

Worst customer service and manager. Purchased over $50 of Party items for my childs party and decided to return some items (valued $10) the next day. The manager gave me issues returning. As a result I returned all the items(values$50) and will never stop at Party Fair in East Brunswick NJ. Lost a long time customer at this store and will now shop at Party City.

Well I don’t know if I looked like a thief or because I am an Asian, all 4 employees from the counter were taking turns watching me since I got into the store. Every isle I go to, i see one employee surveillancing me throughout the store. I was occupied with my 2 years old so I didn’t make a fuss about it when I checked out. I spent $250 in the store for my son’s party but I will never walk in again. I am the one who is spending money but felt like a minority thief that employees have to keep an eye out. Never again!!!

I went there almost 9 mins before the store closes(around 8:51PM) to buy birth day balloons for my daughter. I needed help to pick one while I was talking to someone who works there, lady at the register(heavy lady with glasses) with a very frustrated face yelled saying Store closes in 4 mins). I picked couple of them paid for it and its still 8:59. She was holding door when I wished her Good Night. She neither wished nor smiled. I will never go back to this store. Any store which doesnt treat their customers well is doomed to fail someday.

Horrible customer service! Rude staff! Over priced! Dont try and return anything, they wont let you. I tried to return something the same day and I had the receipt and tag and they didnt let me. Will never shop here again. Beware!!!RESPONSE TO BELOW: I DID HAVE THE TAG AND ORIGINAL PACKAGING. I LITERALLY BOUGHT IT AN HOUR BEFORE I TRIED TO RETUN IT. I HAD THE TAG AND PACKAGING AND IT JUST HAD TO BE STAPLED TO THE TOP AND THEY WOULD NOT TAKE IT BACK. IT WAS A BIRTHDAY SASH FOR MY DAUGHTER THAT IS 5 YEARS OLD. IT WAS AN ADULT SIZE AND WAS HANGING OFF OF HER. YOU THINK THEY WOULD HAVE JUST LET ME EXCHANGE IT FOR A SMALLER SIZE??? PLUS THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE. WILL NOT BE RETURNING! STORE EMPLOYESS NEED TO BE TRAINED ON PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The people behind the counter were rude. My wife left her purse in the car she went to go get it. My 2 yr old daughter began to cry because her mom left. Got dirty looks from the people behind the counter. My wife was gone maybe 3 mins if not less. Once she gave her credit card the man slammed the receipt and the pen on the table. I will never go to that store again!

I have been going there for the past 15 years only because its the only one near me and close to home. So I bought some items for a party which I did not use and went back to return and they reffused to return telling me that I have used them. This is the last time they will be seeing me.
