I had a very good experience at this place. I got the windshield replaced for my 2020 Palisade. The service was fast and job well done. I waited while they did the service. The technician was Mr. Orlando. Booking the timeslot to insurance claim to completing the replacement was very smooth. Highly recommend this place.

They did a good job replacing my windshield. The electronic communication was great. The insurance coverage payment was quick and easy. The receptionist was speaking very low and was hard to hear.

They did a great job of replacing my windshield and recalibrating the eyesight on my car. They did not call me to tell me the car was ready but did get an email. I wish they wouldve told me that my car would be driven 70 miles and use a quarter tank of gas. Its tough for a working student given the price of gas nowadays. My guess is that this location does not have the equipment to recalibrate Subaru eyesight and had to take it somewhere. The cost was about $100 cheaper than the dealership. Hope my windshield doesnt crack again but if it does probably will take it to the dealership instead.

I wish I got the guys name. Shorter Spanish guy. By far the nicest and most honest respectable guy I’ve ever had business with. He’s work is amazing. Can’t even see the star chip I had on my window. He also went out of his way to take care of something else I had an issue with. Will recommend not on satellite but for anyone to ask for the short Spanish guy. Sorry never got his name. But one hell of guy

WAY OVER PRICED FOR A SMALL CHIP. Get a 10.00 chip repair kit they work great. Insurance only pays for it if u have that coverage n i believe no deductible. But call ur insurance first otherwise they got you there n hope u get it done. But if you dont care about cost im sure there good at adding some bond/glue under vacume.

I had Luis as my technician and he did wonderful work not only the windshield was perfectly replaced but he also took the time to vacuum my car and got the work done in 2 hours instead of 3. I hope the management sees this and relay this compliment to him.

Dealing with Safelite at East Brunswick location. Very unprofessional staff. The associate seemed unwilling to answer my questions and then just hung up. Had a terrible experience couple of days back with another associate who seemed to be getting annoyed by my questions. It is my first time dealing with Insurance and the whole process. A little patience can go a long way!

Called me the day of appointment to say they didn’t order the glass. I scheduled the appointment 2 weeks prior. Normally I would be patient, but needed the windshield replaced to register the car, and DMV is booked up for months with COVID. (Had booked the DMV appointment 2 months ago). So pretty much this screwed me over and now registration is expired. Unprofessional and unprepared.

Excellent tech, Jacob, came to my home, communicated well, was very friendly and professional. He got the job done just before the rain and explained everything clearly. Give the guy a raise!

Update August 12/2021Well this incompetent company called me again to make my windshield repair appointment yesterday so I again requested a half day off at my job to come at 2pm today to get it done because they told me they have my windshield, GUESS WHAT THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY MADE ME WAIT ALMOST A HOUR TO TELL ME AGAIN AND FOR THE 5TH TIME THAT THEY HAVE THE WRONG WINDSHIELD AGAIN , IN MY 43 YEARS OF LIFE I HAVE NEVER MEET SUCH A INCOMPETENT PEOPLE... Im GONNA KEEP PUSHING TO SEE HOW MANY TIMES CAN SOMEONE FXCK UP AND BE INCOMPETENT RUNNING A BUSINESS, THIS NOW IS A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT.Worse customer service ever, this is my 5th time making an appointment to get my windshield changed and this people wait till Last minute to call me or text me and tell me different excuse, 1st excuse was a worker broke my glass just 1 hour before my appointment (everyone knows is a lie) 2nd they got the wrong glass( everyone knows is a lie) 3rd excuse last minute call they tell me my glass is in backorder ( lie) 4th excuse again last min call they use the same excuse backorder from the manufacturer, so if is backorder why wait last minute after 2 weeks me waiting to tell your lies, this people dont care about customers time , definitely wrong way to do business. Ill make sure this review is in every social media and website. AMEN

I got a a quote from Safelite online that was 200 dollars less then when I went into the Safelite in East Brunswick. Exact same parameters on the windshield.. Go figure.. .Walked out...

Will definitely go back if I need them. They were fast and efficient and I actually liked the scheduling system (It made sense and worked). They ended up saving me close to $800 for the same service (my mechanic was trying hard to overcharge hard). Go here if you have car window problems. Fast efficient and fair. ***Edit*** : the issue was my window had fallen into the door but wasnt broken. it happened again three days after but found out from the person I got the car from (its a hand me down car) that its a reoccurring issue with that window. so I went back and they put the window back free of charge. what is even more, as I am of humbler means these days they did what I asked and deactivated the window motor (I just need a car that works and is water tight when I need it to be.). TLDR thank you safelite. I cant tell you how much this meant to me. I felt listened to and you gave me not only what I asked for but what i needed. with respect I hope I never need your excellent service but if i do i know where to go! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Everyone was super nice and helpful. I saw another customer being rude and combative they all held their composure. They explained the problem and solution several times calmly. I could never have been that calm . They examined my car quickly and when they were unable to repair they ordered and scheduled the repair quickly. The tech that came to my house for repair was fast polite and i was back up and running quickly. Thank you

Awful experience here. I had my windshield replaced and the tech literally scratched the paint off my car...took a picture and stated that had been there prior. I can assure you it was not. Not only that but gave me a cracked brand new windshield. The manager here was no help, and assured me the scratch was there before. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Making an appointment through Progressive was easy and the service was fast. But if you have a HUD display, make sure they align/calibrate it properly after a windshield replacement. Actually look at it before driving away. The email saying it was calibrated means nothing it seems. My wife got her car back and was driving home when she noticed the HUD display was very blurry...

I scheduled an appointment and tech came with scratched glass. I got it replaced by other company.

Not proud of it, but this was my second time using safelite and this visit blew me away.My in person visit to the location was great. The mechanic on my car came to grab me before I left to tell me they noticed a scratch on my new windshield and will get me a new one but it may take longer. The scratch was so small but the gesture to not negligently give me it, meant alot. Believe or not, Im sure theres places out there who wouldnt have said a word.Then, they were amazing and called me with a glitch in my insurance and told me how to fix it. They were so patient.Finally, I was that annoying customer who kept calling for an ETA and they didnt seem bothered at all. They explained the process of my car and how far along they were.When I went in to get my car, I dont know if they knew me because I was annoying or just great memory, but it was great.Thank you everyone!!!!! It was the small things that often get missed that they did.

I had a technician was supposed to come out today between 130 and 530 they show up here at 5:20 he starts putting in was gonna start putting in the windshield the new windshield he was going to put it had cracks on it then wanted to charge me more money due to the fact that it had cracks and I didn’t want to give me any type of discount said it would be for something but then with taxes it be 509 now I have to wait until Friday between the hours of 130 and 530 for them to come to my job when I work in a storage unit and I’m here by myself completely unprofessional and unacceptable would not recommend this place this is completely uncalled for and bad customer service you can’t reach nobody because they close at 5 o’clock to voice your opinion I try to call somebody they hang up on you this is completely unacceptable and now I have to wait until Friday to get a replacement

Technician was friendly, professional, and was on time. However, frame that surrounds windshield broke off, 5 mins into my first drive after the repair. It seems tech did not properly re-install paneling. Also, visible excess black glue is present on passenger side of the windshield. Unacceptable

Terrible customer service! Plus the technician who replaced my windshield only used a tiny little dot of glue to reattach my rearview mirror so the mirror promptly fell off. Im trying to schedule to come back in and get it replaced and they keep hanging up on me! Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else! Youll be treated better and have much less hassle

Ive had two experiences with this company and both were excellent. One was in the shop with my new Cadillac, which was complicated by all the technology in the windshield. This group already had experience with this issue and did a great job. The second was just the other day and I asked them to come to my home. The technician was very good and we recieved several emails confirming the status throughout the process. Very good communication. I would recommend them to everyone.

Tech canceled appointment within the last hour of the 5 hour window. I offered them multiple locations(work and home) to get it rescheduled ASAP. Wouldnt offer me anything for 4-5 days. You would think after canceling on someone they would work on getting them in sooner. Highly recommend local shops instead like Barts.

From the phone tech Josh (I believe) to the window tech Paul (whose name I remembered because its the same as my husbands), this was a painless experience. They did exactly what they said theyd do, at exactly the time they said theyd do it, for exactly the quoted price (which was reasonable).Josh (and I apologize profusely if Ive gotten the name wrong, its been over a month since the call) was so sweet on the call. He explained how Safelite operated, offered several options for repair times and dates to best fit my schedule since my repair was a minor one and not an emergency - if it had been an emergency, they would have been right out. He even was able to find me a discount on the service because of the insurance I carry. We even chatted about his new baby and his aspirations of being a writer (Im an author) while the computer was processing my paperwork.By the time I got off the phone, I was confident I had made the right choice by choosing Safelite.When repair day rolled around, Paul called because he was running AHEAD of schedule and wanted to make sure it was okay if he showed up a little early. When he arrived, Paul took the time to make friends with my dog so the dog wouldnt be barking the entire time the repair was happening. Paul took even more time explaining how the repair process works just because I was curious. How considerate was that?Its rare you find service techs these days who actually understand the nuances of what the service part of the title entails. You are lucky to have both Josh & Paul as a members of your Safelite family. They are gems, and its apparent they truly enjoy what they are doing.All I know is, if I ever need a windshield repaired again, theres only one place I will be calling - Safelite!

My windshield is fixed (very nice job I have to say) but they left shards of glass on my seat and and tar(or black glue that forms the rim around the windshield) on the front of my car. So after I brought this up to management , they really cleaned it up and gave me a huge apology.Very nice staff (Ill give them benefit of the doubt, it was late on Friday beautiful out so they probably wanted to gt out of there!)Receptionist was the nicest employee EVER!

Excellent service! My technician Kenneth was very helpful and friendly. I signed up for the mobile service but when he got there he informed me of possible complications with mobile service because of the age of my vehicle. So I drove my vehicle to the shop and they serviced it immediately. Expect to be there for an hour and a half (for windshield replacement) but they have water, coffee, magazines, and a TV to keep you busy. Kenneth kept me informed along the way with issues concerning my car and the status. I never felt out of the loop and I drove away confident in the job. Excellent work. I will definitely be coming back if I need more glass work done. Highly recommended!

The worst service possible and they dont care...I scheduled an appointment for service through the website. Followed their directions in adding all the info required. Told on the site, less than 6 inches is repairable - and took and submitted pictures for verification. I received several email follow ups without a word about any issues. Took a day off from work to wait in the four hour window. Then got a call from the tech saying hes on the way - but could i send him a picture. After complying, he tells me - it has to be replaced on another day...The shop calls, I explain my great frustration. They dont care - in fact the young lady on the phone had no idea about anything i submitted - no pics. nothing. Did not care one bit except how I would be paying for the increased price for the work. The epitome of no customer service. Will never ever use them!! Im sad that i have to post one star just to get the review up!

Quality service at fast pace

Safelite came to my house last week to repair a windshield. Service was great - called when they were on their way, were a little early, asked whether I wanted all the windshield stickers and put them on the new windshield. I also made an appointment at the shop because my front right power window wasnt working. They were expecting me when I arrived for my appointment and now my window is working.

Avoid this place at all cost. I had the most horrible experience at this place. Came in with a dime size crack on my windshield, the girl in the front was super rude, never greeted me, never smiled, acted like she didnt want to be there. Asked me for my name, without any eye contact, handed me a paper saying with a replacement disclaimer, and asked me for my keys. 10 minutes later, the mechanic or whatever they call themselves, comes in with a grin on his face to tell me that my windshield had to be replaced because it cracked all the way across... of course! I come outside to look at my car, my car was halfway inside the garage, in a sideways position, the mechanic said “I tried to be gentle” but all I saw was a whole bunch of men gulping their sandwiches from a drive in food truck. I knew the risk of fixing the windshield but they made me feel like if it was done on purpose, they make more money replacing it than repairing it. I went somewhere else to replace the windshield and I am very pleased with the service and the way they handled my car.

Tech came to install my new windshield did a decent job, however put several deep scratches and chips around my windshield down to the primer. Then tries to play it off as Volkswagen windshields are hard to remove. Then when I question the damages he just says oh contact Safelite and they will fix it... Yeah I bet. Also, did not clean the glass up well and ended up with a piece of glass in my hand.This was my second bad experience with Safelite and will not be using again. My last experience was with Safelite of Newton, NJ they damaged the trim below the windshield on my new Acura and caused me to have to buy a new $150 trim on top of the windshield replacement.

I considered only 4 stars because initially the wrong windshield was ordered, so it took a few extra days for the repair to be completed. However, I was very happy with the level of communication (email and text) and both technicians were prompt, courteous and efficient. Also, I really appreciated the companys immediate willingness to waive the mobile fee, as compensation for the inconvenience caused by their initial mistake. They owned it and took great care of me!

Overall my experience was good. Booking my appointment online assisted me. It took 1.5 hrs to replace windshield. Initially they didnt vacuum the vehicle, I had to ask for the same and later they did it. Once you check your quote online and register with email you will probably receive discount coupon from Safelite. Also if one is member of AAA you get some discount, check online for coupon.

I have never seen such complete disregard of customers time as this place. Apparently socializing, cell phones and food trucks are more important than business needs. Cant believe I drove all the way here for this...

Did a great job and faster than expected.

Very happy with my experience at Safelite in East Brunswick. Made my appointment online and was quickly greeted when I showed up. They inspected the damage (a chip), called my insurance and did all of the paperwork for me to sign. Insurance covered the entire cost and I was in and out in 30 minutes and you cannot see where the damage was on my front window. Extremely satisfied with their customer service and repair work and will recommend to everyone. Plus, they offered refreshments, coffee, drinks and snacks, but I was in and out so fast didnt even get a chance to try them!

Horrible experience. Would give negative stars if possible. Rude rude rude. Also gave a price of $600 for a side window on a vehicle that has radio antenna in it. I found a place In Kenilworth that was less than half the price, did great work, and were super friendly. Pretty much the opposite of this place. Called their main number and the customer service rep was even worse. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all cost. Trust me!!

I have gone through my Insurance company .Whatever work done by the experts that wasn’t not acceptable.My car is like 4 months old but there is some small scratches and dent around glass.And windshield work is not good .
