I spent an hour in this store and if I spent twice that I wouldnt see everything. They have theost eclectic selection of merchandise did Ive ever seen, from furniture to home goods, jewelry to toys, and souvenirs to holiday decorations. Nothing you need, but anything you could want. If youre looking for authentic, local...um...stuff, this is the place. Youve got to stop in at least once, especially with out of town guests.

I remembered this place from years ago and told myself I’d pick up one of their perfectly tuned wind chimes if I ever make it back. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The store is large with a huge assortment of items. A fun spot to visit if you have a few minutes.

Its really nice that there is a toy store for both kids and adults under the same roof. Its also nice that there is a place where a husband can always count on finding a perfect gift for birthdays and anniversaries.

This is my #1 place for all Gifts for Everyone. Morgan Imports has it all. They have even been able to order the hard to get items for me..What a winner in my book. Great staff, always willing to help. I havent been able to stay too long...... Ill spend too much money. Sometimes when you looking for something a little different, you may find it there. I love shopping here. My hats off to them all.

The owners are retiring after 50+ years, and they are magnificent! So sorry to see this Durham icon close, but they deserve the retirement.

This store is so cool. Its my go to place for unique gifts. They have a baby section that is great for presents that are different than the standards and really nice. Its full of eclectic items and its fun to spend some time here.

This is such a neat store with a wide variety of things to buy, from kitchen gadgets to gift ideas. They have furniture that you can try out and a wide variety of games and toys for kids and adults. It is always a fun adventure to go here.

Morgan Imports is a great example of why its important to shop at local, one-of-kind, brick and mortar stores. After being told incorrectly that a futon/frame was not available, store manager Charles took charge. He placed the order and when it appeared that it would not be available for a party we were having, delivered the items himself at 8:00am! He also put the frame together and carted away all the packing materials. His professionalism and commitment to getting it right were superior. Morgan Imports not only has great products, but is an even better place to shop with Charles at the helm.

It is very sad to see that they are closing after so many years of business. This is my all time favourite place to go for kitchen items, gits and christmas collections.

This is a nice local place to shop. The store is huge and the staff are friendly. I did find their prices to be a bit high but they do have an amazing selection of unique items. Their stationary section is pretty incredible. Its a great place to shop for a gift for someone and is around a lot of cool little restaurants and stores in downtown Durham.

Morgan Imports doesnt need my recommendation. Its been around for a long time and for a reason. Great staff. And it has everything you would want in a variety/country store. Great for local Christmas shopping.

Always a unique selection of fun gifts. Most of what they have is more suited for a gift for women friends, but you can find things for guys and non-binary friends, as well.

Love this place. If you are looking for unique gifts you should be able to find it here. In addition, there is a variety of price points to choose from. Stop in. You wont regret it.

Let me start by saying I NEVER write a review but this is well deserved. Morgan Imports is amazing!! I had a small issue with a delivery and the Manager, Charles went above and beyond to rectify the issue for me. Anyone I encountered throughout the process was a pleasure to work with the entire time. I 100% recommend Morgan Imports! Their customer service and variety of unique customizable items is impeccable! This is truly a gem in the heart of Durham, NC!

Morgan impetuous has a lot of very interesting things (I say things because it is an eclectic collection). I have always liked the array of quirky cards and books the best. My issue with their other offerings is that it can get pretty expensive. With a little creativity, a lot of their kitchen, garden, and furniture wares can be found elsewhere for less.

Every trip to Durham includes a trip to Morgan Imports. It is a law, mandatory....well, it should be.When the eclectic store NoFo began in Wilmington on the North Fourth street (its namesake) I was a regular and could not get enough of the unique gifts and cool stuff! When I went to Morgan Imports for the first time a couple of years ago, I got that feeling again, the feeling of feeling super excited about having super cool stuff that no one else has...unless of course they too shop at Morgan Imports.This place has everything you could possible want for your home from unique furniture (love their chairs), decor for ceilings, walls, kitchens, floors, literally every inch of your home can be taken care of with the unique finds of Morgan Imports.Prices range from super affordable to expensive, depending on what the item is.Do yourself a favor and make time to go into this place next time you are in Durham. Fun little shop. They were serving free beer when I went too haha not a bad deal.

At first it was ok. I had a problem with my ebt card one week and had to type the numbers in manually. About a week or so later I came there and was told that they just stopped allowing for manual entry of cards. I was disappointed and felt kinda targeted since I had just very recently been there and entered my card information. This is another place tht will lose my business. The prices are sky high and completely out of the black community price range. This is why we need our own...EVERYTHING! I felt so bad 👎🛑🚫 since wont be spending my ebt or cash here!

I found some dog treats that were 4 months past their expiration date, and when I brought it to the clerks attention (an older gentleman), he shrugged it off, like he didnt care.There were some neat finds, a couple of decent locally-made products, and a lot of stuff made in China, including a drink koozie that says Drink Local.

Great, fun store. Plan to take your time and really look around. If you can, go to the after Christmas sale.

Its a pretty cool store, but the customer service is lacking. I asked one of the associates if they get a certain product in often and she got a slight attitude with me like I was bothering her by asking a question. That really turned me off, but I still bought the item that I originally went there for. I wont be back.

Morgan Imports (just across from Brightleaf Square) is one-stop shopping when Im looking for gifts because they carry everything, from the gift cards and wrapping paper and bows to the actual gift itself (and theyll gift wrap for you if youre not up to that task). This stores great too when Im shopping for my home because they carry kitchen items, dishes and glasses, home decor and even some furniture. If youre looking for a deal, go upstairs to the loft for marked down items (up to 75% off). Theres another hidden gem in the back of the store if youre looking for Christmas collectibles (available year round). Cant find exactly what youre looking for? Just ask the super helpful staff. They always point me in the right direction.

I adore this downtown Durham shop - its like walking into an adult playground! Filled with just about anything you could want (plus some things your HOA would kick you out for!), its a great local institution to visit. Right by Parker and Otis, and across from Brightleaf, its a good place to find something for yourself or that person who is so hard to buy for. Make sure to get your parking validated before you leave so you dont have to pay for the lot thats closest to it.
