I Never expected a road trip would include an exciting tale of a huge distressed bird running into my windshield after ricocheting off an 18 wheeler. Then comes the rain!!! This repair went from Tuesday to “we’ll see you at 10:30a. One hour later and I’m back on the road ready to prepare for my event. Went to have my windshield replaced. Seemed alot of the staff were not trained and were more concerned with getting it done as fast as possible rather than making sure it was done right. My rear view mirror (with auto lamp switch) was not reconnected or attached to the near windshield. I went back to have it fixed and ended up having to use some gorilla glue tape I had in my center console to stick it back to the windshield. Windshield molding also very shotty. It leaks when it rains now. If you want speed rather than quality I recommend. If you want it done right, I would not.

I had my windshield replaced today on a white 2001 Camry. The new windshield looks fine and hopefully will be ok going forward. My issue is that the tech who did the installation left several black stains all around the car between the drivers side and passengers side, as well as the hood. He said he tried to clean it, but it wouldnt come off. Im waiting to hear from the mgr. and hope they will have a suggestion to remove it. Otherwise, the paint is ruined.

Beware of these people. I left my car parked outs side their business. When I got back in an hour the glass was replaced and their was a big dent in my left front fender. The technician obviously did it or it was doneon their property. He wrote It was written up it was their before they worked on it. It was not. The tech or someone did it outside because it wasn;t there until I left it with them. Plus the managers and help lie to cover each others Behind. BEWARE

Prices are cheap but you get what you pay for. Very u professional and unorganized. When you call they answer the phone like it’s not a business it’s someone’s personal number that is being bothered. They replaced my windshield and didn’t attach me rear view mirror properly leaving my flooring rear view mirror a visual hazard and they could not fix it u till the next day. They also broke the cowl on my Vehicle and tried to say they break on all trucks and most have them missing...well it was there and unbroken when I brought it to you. My suggestion get some better management menu and employees and maybe you can be more than a cheap windshield company.

Unprofessional, waited 45 minutes and was told it would be a 2 hour process for a windshield, and wasnt even started yet! Didnt get a photo of the repair but this is my broken window. I would say that this place comes across as a bit unorganized because I was there almost 3 hours as they ordered the wrong window for my vehicle. However, the service and price i received was more than pleasant. I would definitely recommend them for the work. Dont let the phone conversation deter you from giving this place a go.

The work they did overall is good work. My windshield looks the same as when I first got the car. However, they did leave a mess behind and scuffs on the side panels. Prices here are great compared to other companies, so I guess you get what you pay for. If you want okay service for a good deal this place is the place to go to.

Horrible service!!!They damaged my car and I had taken it back to have the windshield replaced 3 times!!! Instead of replacing it like they told me they would, they poured a ton of glue that seeped through my ceiling!! They just handed me the keys like nothing happened! This is after a year and a half of water damage sustained by my car after a faulty windshield replacement. Trying to get the manager on the phone is mission impossible. They suck!!!

As a first time customer, I am highly disappointed. Setting up an appointment was simple and quick and I was able to get in fairly quickly. The staff were pleasant and got the job done, but there is absolutely NO communication.Upon picking up my car I NOTICED that my dash cam was BROKEN. I’m unable to use it anymore because it’s beyond repair. At no point in time did anyone call me or inform me that they had to forcibly remove the dash cam. They did not even inform me that they had to BREAK it to remove it. They simply plopped it into the passenger seat and let me discover it myself.At no point in time was I informed that AutoGlass was not liable for any damage occurring to property that is attached to my windshield when replacing. Other than a small 8”x11” printer paper taped to the wall behind the front desk in small font (that I didn’t even notice until I had to sit in their waiting room while the staff spoke with the manager about my broken dash cam), I was NEVER VERBALLY informed of this and I never signed any papers indicating I understood the liability, or anything of that sort. HAD they told me to remove my dash cam, I would’ve done it myself. The front desk staff even told me AFTER I brought it to their attention that “oh, we should’ve told you beforehand, but we can’t do anything about it now.”The replacement itself was, from what I can see now, decent, but the glass they used had a weird ripple effect that distorts the ground when you look through it at different angles.I will not return.

You get what you pay for. The price was just under $200, which is great, but there is black adhesive all over my white car, and the trim is very low quality with large ripples throughout it. The windshield has black adhesive smeared all over it.Saved money, but spending it elsewhere to correct my paint and remove the adhesive thats smeared all over the windshield.

Had a mobile replacement. Everything went smooth! The tech, David Johnson, was kind and courteous as well as very professional. He did a great job!

Although they are nice and quick to make the repair the work was a tad sloppy - boss of glass on the roof, in the back seat and and trunk. The black adhesive was attached on the exterior of the car, big glob along the bottom edge (hid by the trunk until it was opened). They cleaned the globs up, but this should have been caught by them, not the customer. I vacuumed the car out, but again they should have been more attentive to this.

Believe me when I say YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME. I had booked my windshield replacement a week ahead. The day off the “appointment” I called to let them know I was on the way and the receptionist had confirmed my time and my vehicle. Out of nowhere she say “ oh wait your not booked” she then try’s to say that I had never booked anything and that the windshield was never ordered. It seems like she realized she had never ordered the windshield when she had to. Blaming the customer but yourself?? What a joke

They were very friendly, easy to work with, fast, and so much cheaper than other places. I hope I dont have to get another windshield repaired, but if I did I would definitely come back.

Cheapest place to get glass. They always do a great job and are quick and nice. 10/10 recommend. Safelite quoted me 400 bucks and auto glass got it done for 150.

I wanted to take a moment to share what an outstanding experience I recently had with Auto Glass Now in Durham off of Miami Blvd and 70. They helped me replace and re-calibrate the windshield on our high-tech minivan and did an incredible job! When calling around for quotes an owner of a shop told me that people were consistently telling him that Auto Glass Now Durham has the best prices in town. I found that to be true in my experience and was even more impressed by the professionalism of David and his team and their willingness to do whatever it took to help me out. This is the second windshield I have had them replace and it will be my first call going forward. You should definitely check them out!

Purchased a windshield from here at a way better price then everywhere else. My advice is take your biz here. Dana or “Red” as he’s known is a awesome guy. This is how this man makes his living and he still let me pick his brain on how to install my windshield myself. He knew the answer to everyone of my questions without hesitation. And made me feel confident enough to try it. I myself am a do-it yourself type. I will try anything on my truck. Ask anyone and they will say windshield installation should be left to the professionals. I may end up having to do that but I will try for now. If I have issues I will bring it in for them to bail me out. Everyone here was nice, professional, and eager to help me out in anyway they could. To my shock and surprise I found a crack on my windshield over 13 long along the bottom of my windshield. Didnt notice it until it started moving upward. Called my ins company and they referred me to a company (SL) who gave me a mobile appointment 4 business days out with a $100 deductible. Called Auto Glass Now they gave me an appointment in 1 business day and charged me half my deductable ($50). Wow. They started the work early and finished quickly. The new windshield is the same as original except MUCH cleaner (lol). Everyone was very nice and so personable yet professional. Office could go for a little updating but I rather have cheaper service with polite people who know what they are doing than a fancy looking place full of jerks. Lol. You know what I mean. Highly recommended. Thanks guys!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO AUTO GLASS NOW of Durham, NC!!!!I scheduled an appointment with Auto Glass Now to install the right passenger quarter glass window that I purchased from a Nissan dealership. David, of Auto Glass Now, agreed to install the glass. I arrived to my appointment and had the glass installed. Upon receiving the vehicle back, I noticed the paint finish was removed from the car, and the interior panel of the vehicle was not reinstalled properly. My car paint finish and interior panel were in excellent condition prior to my visit. After services were rendered, the technician did not mention that he damaged the paint finish and improperly reinstalled the interior panel. Upon my inspection of the vehicle, I immediately informed the business, David, of the issue. If I had not inspected my car, the company/technician would not have said anything about the damage! Nonetheless, David promptly told me that he was not responsible for the damage to my vehicle. DO NOT take your vehicle to Auto Glass Now of Durham. Technicians are inexperienced, unprofessional, reckless, and unethical! If you value your car, you will go to another glass installation provider; AUTO GLASS NOW of Durham will damage your vehicle!

I gave these guys a 2nd chance to make a good first impression, and they came through. The only thing that cost them the 5th star was that there was a mistake with my windshield install the first time. However, they took ownership of the problem and delivered everything they promised. My new windshield began leaking water from the top after six months and by the winter had cracked because it wasn’t sealed correctly. Huge waste of money.

So, my first red flag was when I dropped my car off and I notice that no one is wearing a mask. Theres a pandemic going on and yall dont think its wise to wear a mask while entering someone elses car? I have a child and Im trying to protect them as much as possible. My second red flag was after I dropped the car off and a financial emergency came up and I called to tell them to cancel my service and that I was on my way to pick up my car. They had me on hold the entire drive back to the shop. By the time I got back to the to the shop, the mechanic was just walking to my car and I told him not to service my car I need to cancel. I was walking to the office when he just handed me the key and told me to take it and to not worry about it. He said he will let the front desk know. He didnt ask for my ID to verify if that was my car. He just handed me the key and told me to go. That is very unprofessional and very unsettling knowing someone can just take a car claiming that its theirs when theres a possibility that its not and possibly get away with it. Then, about 20 minutes pass and I get a call from them and theyre saying Oh, the mechanic went to get your car and its gone. They didnt want to admit that they just possibly gave out my car to someone they didnt verify was me. They wanted to play it off. I was planning to reschedule my appointment to get my windshield fixed with them but Ill pass! If I could give zero stars I would!

Had my windshield replaced and was told that my defogging unit was going to be disconnected. I realized that the unit wasnt in my glove box or put to the side somewhere in my car after the work was done. After calling them back twice, the lady was extremely rude and didnt have the decency to call back as she promised after I politely asked her to ask the technician who did the job if he still had it. Absolutely poor customer service.

Parking is horrible. I was given the wrong estimate therefore did not have work done here.

I was hesitant to hire them based on a few reviews.I got the windshield replaced and everything came outGreat! I wasn’t in a hurry and left it for the day. No problems and it looked good.It was the best price I could find.

The service was friendly and fast. Staff was effective in explaining and assuring that the job can be done.

My wife took her Ford Flex here to have windshield repaired. Once work was done they broke the side molding off of the car and told her if she wanted it repaired that she would have to pay for the parts and labor. We did not have the work done because we did not think it was ok for them to break something and then we had to pay for it. A couple months later the repair they done to fix the molding came off and we found they used duct tape to hold the piece in place. Shabby repair at best. Will never use them again. Not upset that they broke the piece but at the fact that I have to pay for something you broke. Not profeasional.

We just left there. Our windshield looks great. It took about 2 hours and was reasonably priced.They were professional and polite. The only negative was the $8 that I left under my can of coke in the car...was missing. Guess they decided to tip themselves . Test failed :-( Or it would have been a perfect review.

This was my 2nd time trying to get this fixed, the first time I was told that no technicians showed up at work yet. I made another appointment, my wife and son took the car over and waited all afternoon for them to sort out which mirror bracket it takes, over 2 hours. David said he’d call me in the morning, that was 2 days ago. I have no idea what their work is like, haven’t seen them actually do anything but deflect, blame, and misdirect. The building is a dump and smells like an ashtray. I called SafeLite, I don’t care if Auto Glass Whenever They Get Ready To Do It was free I wouldn’t go back.

I Love the work they did on my car, looks like it was never replaced. My only problem that a couple quarters were missing from my cup holder and I got a bad attitude from the manger because I simply didn’t know what he was talking about. If it came down to it I would choose to talk to the lady that’s there if I have to come back but I would recommend coming here.

Best prices in town! Friendly enough, no-frills waiting room. Plan to spend at least a couple hours here.

Weve been coming to Auto Glass Now for the better part of 15 years. Their staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and they get the job done quick. Their pricing is great, and they are in a good location right off of highway 70. Their waiting room could use some better chairs that are actually comfortable and have a little bit of a cleaner setup. Other than that, this is our go-to place if we need car glass replaced.

EXCEPT auto glass now in Durham they stayed open 1 and half hours passed closing to replace my windshield! This meant the world to me not because they helped but because I was on my way out of state to visit my sick grandmother and they wanted to do what they could to make that happen. Im very pleased with my experience with Auto Glass now in Durham. My trucks back window shattered on Sunday. I requested a quote that afternoon and got a response that evening. The quote was HUNDREDS below the 3 other major companies in the area I inquired with. My truck only has liability so this is all out of pocket. I called Monday for an appointment and was able to get in that same day to replace both my back and front glass (front window had been cracked for years). The other companies couldnt help me until later in the week. I dropped my truck off and they called a few hours later with work completed. I couldnt be happier. Thank you!

Made an appointment for a front glass of my Tahoe to be replaced since the one I had had some nasty crack running on the bottom. Made the appointment for the next day at 11am and waited for around an hour to hour and a half for the installation to happen. The service was great. I think the only bad thing was that the seats got a little bit dirty and the floor mats were wet from the water they used. But other than that, good job.

Made the appointment for 4 days later never came when the agreement was arranged had me waiting from 9 am till the time I called which was 3 pm the same day and never called to let me know that they didnt have it in stock and I took off from work and also got rain in the vehicle, so dissatisfied and very unprofessional I wouldnt recommend these guys to anybody thats not the way you do business especially when the customer is paying

The Best when you Need Glass Now

Finding a great auto glass repair shop is sort of a catch-22, you only need one when its going to cost you money but youre happy to find a place where the prices are very reasonable and the service excellent. Auto Glass Now is just such a place.Ive had to have two windshields replaced in the past eighteen months on different vehicles. Both times, Auto Glass Now had far and away the best price, made scheduling and planning around the repair painless and made getting in/out simple.

This place is a little rough around the edges, but the staff are honest and kind. They fixed my windshield quickly and at a great rate!

Completely unprofessional, took my car there to see if the chip on the windshield could be repaired or it needed to be replaced, the tech that looked at it, laughed in my face and said “you can’t repair this, you have to replace it” I get it it was a pretty big chip and I figured it needed to be replaced. But I don’t see the funny part, I thought this was a place of business where people would help, instead of laughing in my face about the fact that I have to replace my windshield. So if you are looking for any kind of customer service I will suggest you go elsewhere.

You cant beat the prices they offer and the service was done quickly while I waited. I had to get my entire windshield replaced on my pick up truck. It was actually done in less than an hour. I would recommend them to anyone in need of replacing a windshield.

We are a local car dealership. We do business and brought numerous vehicles to Auto Glass Now since 2012. Our last experience was a huge disappointment . Their so-call subcontractor that work in there name Jeremy did the glass replacement job of a Toyota Sienna ( btw he did a great job, I’m not going lie). He lost the keys and the remote that was attached to it, and he didn’t mention it until we got to the shop to pick up our vehicle which is 25 minutes away. He said he accidentally gave our key to another customer and promised to call us when he gets the key back, so we wait and wait.......by the third day they still have no idea where the key, I went ahead called locksmith to cut keys and program new remote which cost me $400. Showed Jeremy the receipt and he politely agreed to pay us back soon he received check. Oh man... trusting him was a huge mistake I made, he’s been playing dumb and gave me run around for the next 2 weeks. I guess we will never going to get our $400 back. I really can’t do anything but to write review to share my experience and will not take anymore vehicle to this Irresponsible company. I will remove this post if this matter resolved.

Best prices around, but make sure you double the amount of time they tell you itll take. Standard response is always an hour to an hour and a half. Took about 2.5 hours.

Pricing was nice and went in on a Saturday to get my front windshield replaced. They told me not to run the car in a car wash for a few days. I waited a week and then ran took my car to a car wash. Water got everywhere inside my car. The seal was so poorly done that it sounds like a car window is open when you get on the highway.They also created a massive gash on the top of my car hood. Their response not the phone that they have to use large tools sometimes to get windows out. I will be asking for them to repair the damage they created.I will change this review if they are able to fix my issues.

Great place to get your windshield replace for a fraction of the price! The pricing is phenomenal...I gave them a 4 stars due to the quality in their workmanship is not as high; had some small fragments of glasses in my car in the crevices of my steering wheel. This is what a shopvac is for. Also the glue that holds the windshield down had an excess and is noticeable on the inside...so there is a visible glue bulge in the interior. Maybe I was just that 1 out of 5 or 10 people.Still the pricing is very good if you are trying to save money. Workmanship quality is ok.

I got a quote and they were able to replace windshield the same day. I had to wait about 20 minutes for them to get started but in all i was only There about 1 hour 15 minutes. The windshield looks like an exact replica of the oem. The price was unbelievably low as well. I only paid $170 for the entire replacement. The dealer wanted $550 and Safelite wanted $375 and they wanted to charge me more to come to me. I will certainly recommend Auto Glass Now.

Waste of time, terribly managed and unprofessional. This was just a failed business interaction on all counts. I should have known from the beginning when they would never return phone calls as promised. After 2 weeks of phone calls and emails in search of a part (they never called me back even once during that time), we got an appointment scheduled to replace my windshield. I took off work on the day of the appointment to meet them at my home. Based on their previous poor communication, I decided to call them around midday just to make sure I was still on the schedule. After waiting on hold (you will always be put on hold) the manager David tells me that his techs did not feel comfortable installing my windshield. He could not explain why, only that they were not coming to do the install and he could offer me no other solution.If you want to cancel an appointment, thats fine. But how about communicating with your customers instead of wasting their time and money? They werent even going to notify me.I was hoping to support a local business, but their largest national competitor will be here in the morning to do the install. Guess what? Theyve already called me to confirm the appointment. At this rate, I could have had a windshield installed everyday instead of trying to get them to call me back for 2 weeks and then not show up to the appointment.

These people SUCK! I make appointment ... with proof of quote ... they mark up the price by almost DOUBLE ... the day before, I request a closer location in Durham instead of Raleigh ,., drive for 40 minutes and they have no parts ready and tell me my car wont be ready in 4 hours. Then they proceed to drone on about how I was talking with someone in Virginia. Why is that my problem? Why is that an acceptable explanation? Ive now wasted 3 hours of planning & commuting for nothing ... stay away! Unprofessional! no apology ... yuck

Friendly service, and was able to complete the work quickly. Unfortunately, broken glass remained in the door frame and made a grinding noise whenever the window was operated. Had to get this repaired at a different facility out of state. Fortunately, this shop was very helpful at arranging the repair.They made a mistake, but at least they took steps to make it right.

A quick call to them for a second quote on a rear door shattered window. They were half the cost and got me in the same day, a full two days earlier than their competitor offered. And they had me in and out in short order. The four staff I had the pleasure to meet were all professional!!

On February 18 my windshield mysteriously got a crack in it! I had only had the car for 3 weeks so I was devastated! I called safelite and they quoted me at 120 then decided that it was 350 and told me to contact my insurance company. My comprehension coverage deductible was 500 and there was no way I was paying that. I then contacted the dealership and the place they recommended was charging $428.. no way! Then I remember a name my car salesman gave me and finally decided to give them a call. The man could hear the excitement in my voice when he quoted me for $270 and said with tax it will be $290!!! I expected to hear some ridiculous price like the others but $290!! I couldnt let that pass! Yesterday I pulled up at 1:28pm for my 1:30 appointment. He said it would be an hour but I walked out of there at 2:10pm!!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Not only do they not believe in overcharging their customers but they are also fast and helpful! I would recommend this place to EVERYONE! and I mean EVERYONE I had no issue with glass being left in my car etc etc I just cannot stop bragging about this experience!

The very short while I was here was pleasant. The waiting room is sparse, the windows were dirty, and the chairs are not that comfortable. Have no fear you wont sit long, that cannot take away from the very pleasant staff, the amazingly quick service, and unbeatable price. I saved over 250 from the lowest safelite price. The sign says 50% off, perhaps 75% off is a better estimate. I would recommend them to anyone needing auto glass. Shop around first, you will not beat the price. Plus I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Replaced windshield on my ford explorer. Seemed good until I tried using the windshield wiper sprayer. Turns out they broke the fitting and instead of letting me know or replacing it, they used some electrical tape to hold the fitting in place so I wouldnt notice right away. Windshield is good but covering up damage done during the installation isn.t Be sure everything works before driving off.
