My first ever brand new car got bumper and grill damage just two months into owning it, which made me very upset. The day after it happened, I called 10-15 shops, but JR was the ONLY one who could see me quickly. He simply said “stop by for an estimate. I’ll be here til 530”. I stopped by, he checked the damage, then called for a price on parts. Estimate only took ten minutes. I wanted to get a few more estimates, but no place else was able to see me until the following week. Normally I don’t rush decisions, but I wanted it fix asap, and JR did just that! Dropped it off Monday and it was ready that Wednesday, just like he said it would be. Estimate was just $5 less than the actual price, so he knows what he’s doing! I hope to not need his help ever again(lol), but if I ever do get more damage, I will not hesitate to take my car to JR Body & Frame. Thanks again!

J.R. was super nice and helpful. He quoted me a fair rate and even told me ways he could save me more money on top of what he quoted if I chose to repair parts instead of buy new ones. I definitely trusted him to give me an accurate and fair price, which is hard to come buy as a woman going to any mechanic shop.

I got rear ended a few months ago and my frame rails were bent in the back. I typically do any car work myself that I am able to do, but I did not have the tools or means to straighten frame rails! I had gone several places around Raleigh/Cary and received quotes for $650-$800 to get everything perfect. My Jeep is a 2001, so I didnt need the frame to be perfect, just straight enough to mount a bumper on. I called and spoke with JR, told him exactly what I wanted, and he said to come in for a quote. I went in and Louis and his uncle were able to pull the frame rails and get everything straightened out in only 45 minutes! The rear end is about as close to perfect as it is ever going to get and I couldnt be more happy. JR gave me a great price and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. They are NOT a corporate store that will try and get your money by adding on charges here and there. I will definitely be going back if I ever have any body or frame needs in the future. Thank you!!

I can’t say enough about how great dealing with JR turned out to be. I had taken my car to both Carolinas and Caliber before I found JR and well, let’s just say I was not happy with their business practices. In contrast, JR worked with me to find a good time to be in a rental, accurately assessed the damage and time to repair it, and got my car back to me on schedule for the price agreed. The workmanship is superb and my truck looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.

JR runs what I consider an old school body and frame shop, where repairing takes priority over replacing. The work he does on vintage mustangs speaks for itself. 10/10. Used him to repair the frame and body on my F550 and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN! Their barbed wire fences are for your protection, to keep them on the other side.
