Nice place, it has a family owned feeling or do i dare say it? A good ol neighborhood shop vibe as it seemsBy the obvious repeat happy customers , and the attentiveness of the staff. Big Box Stores have nothing on this. And never will

This place was the best. I brought in a bike I got used and they were able to see the problems without me telling them. The needed parts were replaced quicker than estimated and they were upfront about pricing. Everyone is professional and knows what theyre talking about and really worked to understand my needs. Definitely going here for all my bike needs

Chris and Tyler were GREAT!Chris worked on a brake cable problem that I screwed up trying to fix myself. It was a small problem that I made worse, but Chris had the parts and the tools to get me riding again. Very reasonable price, too.The name has changed, though, to 2nd Time Sports.

Was looking for a bike for my daughter’s 10th birthday and decided to check out the Energy Bike shop first. So glad we did! The guys there were great and helped us find the perfect bike. Also gave my daughter a basket for her bike as a birthday gift! We will definitely do all bike shopping and repairs with them for now on!

Beyond words...in a World where almost everything presently is ugly, this place gives hope to humanity. The young man at the desk - sorry forgot the name - got my bike out of my car, gave the estimate, and said he would call if it turned into something else. Well, not only was the estimate accurate, but they went ahead and fixed something else, at no charge - I had told them my husband could do it. They fixed it anyway!!! And I got a water bottle for my bike! Please support this place... outstanding customer service!!

Jake set my wife up with Fuji. She keeps up with me now and really enjoys the ride now. Fuji bike fits her just right, being on the smaller size. Jake also brought life to an old Trek of mine. The team here has been great to us. They are not presumptuous of you and your skills, they just want you to love to bike.

Fixed up a used recumbent I bought that needed a seat and handlebars. They found me compatible parts at a competitive price. By shear coincidence or maybe he is just that good, Jake positioned the seat perfectly for my x-seam without measurements or me sitting in the bike. I picked it up and it was prefect.

I purchased 2 bicycles from them and have had one serviced there, as well as new things added. This is a very professional, no pressure business. Thy have a wealth of knowledge about bicycles and will share it with you, regardless if you are a buyer or not.In my opinion, there is no reason to go anywhere else for a bicycle or bicycle repairs.

Great service and great shop. Went above and beyond to fix my nearly new bike that I was having issues with the gears and even called to check the warranty for a problem with my seat. A new part is being shipped for the seat which is covered under warranty and they will put it on for me. Very happy and will definitely be coming here for any further bike issues.

In my opinion it is the customer service provided, price, and knowledge of the product that separates good stores from their competitors, this store excels with all of them! Never once pressured, I received nothing but courteous service from several different clerks and let me please add, I am quite the novice to this sport but they never once made me feel like one. After the service I received this weekend this is the only bike store I will return to and felt the need to highly recommend it to others, hope this helps! This is by far a great store for a novice or experienced rider, with an amazing selection of parts, bikes, and services offered. This store is located only 20 seconds from the great riding Pinellas Trail and you can hit the trail right after grabbing your new accessories, after your service, or after picking up a new bike.

Always honest and quick with repairs, Im guessing its the same with buying thingsI still feel the same, to add a specific example of what i was saying in my review from last summer; was quoted $30 (or $40 it was a couple months ago) to adjust new breaks on my gfs bike. After doing it they only charged me $20 because it took less time then expected.

They can do a good job if only would they try but last Sunday they picked up my bike an yet still this Saturday they havent fully looked it over to see if they need to order a part which will take another week. Its my only transportation.First off the guy running the store says hes looking at it sorta hes got a person in the store. Second over a day later he still hasnt fully looked at it. Third he had to comment rudely on how I treat my bike that I dropped my bike to break it. No what happened but still says hell get to it shortly. The reason I hate this is because its not a first come first bases. They stop clearly whenever they want. With no plan on when it will be done for me. I need to know how much it would be if they had to order a part as in look for me so Im prepared.

New to the area and just was not sure where to go.Came in and spoke with Mark. Before going, I was begrudgedly ready to get a different bike as my butt has become way too large for my seat and I dont care for that poking feeling....Anyhow, he took some time with me, discussed bikes and really listened to me.Then, seeing how much I love my Gary Fisher, suggested that he could make my bike feel much better.I got it yesterday and slapped on about 10 miles as a tester.... OH MYThis place has was you need, want and most importantly LISTENS.

Knowledge - a bit shoddy. Went look for a Terra Rambler or Rover Trike. An older gentleman from behind the counter told me I could find it at Walmart... thought maybe he didn’t hear me correctly so I asked again. He replied, “ we don’t carry any of that BIG STORE JUNK...”My better judgement tells me Walmart and Target probably do not carry a $2300 trike. To say the least, we left immediately. No return customers here.

This is a great little shop. We stayed in Clearwater and this shop had the best prices. You can rent 2 bikes here for a full 24 hour period for the price of one for a few hours in Clearwater. And, these are nicer, hybrid geared bikes not just beach cruisers (though they have those too.)We had someone drop us off and we rode the bikes back to Clearwater which was really nice because we rode through Dunedin which is a nice little town and then on the Pinellas path and up over the causeway. 7 miles and took about 35 min but was nice. Did the same on the way back. With rental you get a helmet and lock which is nice. Some bikes had racks and they had a selection and you can just choose which you like and which fits you. Nothing too high end but well maintained and solid.

Every business should take a lesson from EC (Bob). He is extremely personable and courteous, cares about your needs and addresses the pros and cons of your predicament or purchase. He once had me go into the remnant parts area of the service department to search for just the right headset and riser for my trusty old steed, that I couldnt retire at the time. His unflappable demeanor trickles down to the staff who spent all the time I needed in fitting and tweaking my bikes over the years.I have since relocated to Texas because of work and have come to dearly miss the staff and owner (Bob) of the Energy Conservatory. One of my fondest memories of Dunedin was just stopping in to see the folks there and peruse the bikes, or dropping off one of my bikes for service, and have a moment of friendly converstaion witht them. A process so different with the Other Shop in TownTruely a dynamic shop with A+ personality and the mentality of how to do the right thing for the customer.
