45 minute wait for 5 minute beard trim! Girl was good, professional and did a nice job but very long wait for such a short service.. Poor girl was by herself with 5 more customers following me.. Fantastic Sams has been wildly erratic in service and wait times, actual knowledge fine and prices about the same as others. If not for a trip planned I would have left

I came in close to closing expecting to have to set a next day appointment. Kathy (??) was professional and friendly and immediately dismissed my apologies. Ill be sure to come back. Amazing hairdresser, great cut, great value.

Making an appointment was super easy! Was able to make an appointment the night before with Jackie. Was skeptical of the prices but I was extremely happy with my simple cut. I had uneven hair and Jackie did an amazing job. She we fast and did exactly what I had asked for. Jackie is awesome! Will return to her from now on. Staff overall does a good job with sanitation of chairs and equipment between clients. I watched her wipe down my chair with special care before she sat me. Highly recommend this place ❤️

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Had an appointment with Sue. Showed up on time and was told that Sue had some errands she wanted to run so she wasn’t coming in. Nobody bothered to call even though Sue took my number when she scheduled the appointment. I guess Sue just wants her free time. If I owned the salon I’d let her have it.

A great cut - she asked me a few questions about what I wanted, took her time cutting and checked with me before she was finished to make sure she had done what I wanted. My 2 sons use them regularly and i use them for myself about once a year. My sons wouldnt go any where else. One of them has thick curly hair thats difficult to cut right. They always do a good job on it. My other sons is thin straight and he prefers a specific type of cut. They do a great job on his also. Mine is thin and straight and i prefer a traditional business cut. Again no complaints.

Posting for my mother...Ive had a weekly standing appointment here for 4 years and with a different stylist for the last 9-10 months. With her it doesnt seem to matter that I have a standing appointment, Im often kept waiting and today she literally took a walk in just as I was walking in for my scheduled appointment. I left, permanently. Its quite obvious you prefer a churn/burn clientele over loyal long standing customers with the lack of respect shown to me continuously over the last 9-10 months.

Best haircut Ive had in awhile. Wendy did a great job. I will be coming back regularly to get my haircut by her.

I have curly hair and it can be hard to get a good haircut. My mom and I went to Fantastic Sams in Dunedin and Omar cut our hair, he did a GREAT job. I look 5 years younger and he was super nice, letting me know what would look good and what would work best for me. He totally understood what I wanted and did a great job, cant say enough good things about him. So happy with my haircut!

At 5:05 PM on Saturday I was told that there was only two people working at that time. I was told I could come back in 30 min. to see if they can take me then. They close at 6 PM.It shouldnt take more than 15 to 20 min for a mans regular hair cut. Even using scissors.. There was one person ahead of me so I left and wont ever try them again. Did I say tell close at 6!

Kelly is AMAZING as always. So many complaints on my new look. Even my students like it...if they didnt they wouldnt of held back. They would of let me hear their honest opinion.

Wendy is one of the best hair stylist they have. Totally accommodating, and with her suggestion, I bought hair products which I normally do not do.

Walked in to the store today for just a cut the lady said it would be a few minutes. Another lady came up to the desk and said what is your name I said Bob she said its going to be 5 minutes so I told her I would be at the store Ill be right back. Came back from the store walk-in and another lady says its going to be 5 minutes. I told the ladies that they should tell the truth about how long you have to wait. They kept going on and saying you should make an appointment do you want me to stop doing this ladys hair right now, theres only two of us and were busy. I said please ladies just tell the customer the real time he has to wait so he is not inconvenience

Good, experienced hair stylist, clean & service is by appt or walk-in at your convenience.

We had a very bad experience with our last cut and color. When we told the stylist that the hair cut was not what we wanted, we were told that they are only taught one way to cut hair and it will grow out. The color was awful...way darker than the sample we were shown. We asked for it to be corrected and was told we had to come back when a manager was available. Had to walk around for 3 days with horrible hair before being able to see manager. The senior colorist made problem worse. Our naturally light brown hair was now black with a green tone, and terribly damaged. Needless to say, no one apologized or offered a refund. I was actually told my hair was the fault! We ended up spending over $550.00 at another salon to remove the color and the damaged hair had to be cut off. The prices may be low, but remember you get what you pay for.

I have thick wavy ( hispanic) hair. I used to spend upwards of $100 for haircuts because chain places never seemed to offer anyone who could understand and cut my hair. Then at the last minute I popped in here for a last minute trim before Valentines day because my place was booked. Thats when I met Kelly. She has been cutting my hair ( and now my kids hair) ever since. I am constantly getting compliments on my hair. It even grows out beautifully. Cutting hair is a skill, and as long as Kelly works here I will be a loyal customer. 🙂

Do not come her if your looking at getting the perm, the staff has no clue what they are doing and completely destroyed my hair, I asked for a light perm and it came out not curly at all, then I went back to show them and they offered to fix it and they gave me another perm and now my hair is a big frizzy fried mess, what a joke this place is, and they won’t give you the haircut you ask for they shaved off my entire side burn without asking, also half the employees can’t speak english

I have to revise my review. I took my daughter in for a cut and colour and Sophia (Or Sylvia, Im bad with names, sorry!) did an amazing job on a balayage with purple tips. I got a cut and perm with Wendy and couldnt be happier with the results. Ill be going back to Wendy in the future!

It was an awful first impression. I made an appointment, as I had other things to do. First, when I called for the appt., could not understand the woman on the phone. She did not state the name of the company?2. I arrived there and the Three stylists were busy. When the one was done I walked up to let her know I had an appointment. She said someone will be with you. I waited and she took someone, the other two were done with their clients and still noone even addressed me. Now it was 1:00 PM. My appt was for 12:30 (for a shampoo n trim). Very rude and terrible customer service, especially since I was not Asian. Other clients were taken in and waited on.I ended up walking out!! Never will I do that again and I will tell everyone of my first and BAD experience at the Dunedin Fantastic Sams!!

Person who performed haircut lacked any sense of skill, style, or personality... I was surprised to have such an unprofessional experience. By comparison, Great Clips on Sunset Point in Clearwater, was talented for pretty much the same price.

Had an appointment, that I made the day before. I was made to wait 10 minutes by a stylist who insisted Someone Else would be taking care of me while she small talked with her customer who was finished. I saw No other stylists and she never called for anyone, until a walk-in came in with 3 children. She ushered them to a male stylists chair, who happened to be in the back. She then sat me in her chair. Asked me what you want?? I told her a cut, highlights and some color. She became angry slammed her comb down and said Im not doing that!! Turned to the male stylist and said Im not doing her hair!! He said I would have to make yet another appointment in order for him to do it. I got up and walked out. I didnt want any of them touching my hair after that. I found them to be rude and incompetent.
