I could tell she was smiling under her mask, and she gave me a true feeling of welcome, and that my business was appreciated. I do not know her name, but she has red hair. I consider her to be a model after which some behind the counter should strive to emulate. Thanks to her for starting my day off in a fantastic state!

Ive been a fan of Big Apple Bagels for many years. Whenever Im in town my family makes sure to stop and have a bagel or two at Judys Big Apple Bagels. We have never been disappointed. The staff at Big Apple is always very welcoming and their food is fantastic. I love their Apple Pie Jumbo Muffins. Great coffee too.

Today was my third or fourth visit at BAB. I absolutely think the food is beyond delicious and the drinks are very good. It always seems to be busy inside whenever I come around, so they must be doing something right. As much as I am satisfied with the food and precuts, I must admit the service is kind of on the 50/50 scale. Dont get me wrong, all the girls are nice and attentive. But when it comes to product knowledge (pricing, names of bagels or other things) they really dont know..,well any of it. Im kind of thrown off that whenever I asked about a price of the dog bone or the muffins I got a I dont know and she just trailed off and left me standing there. If she was walking away to ask about the prices, she never did come back. Thanks for leaving me ignored. Im not even sure if its worth going back for.

Holiday Bagel Wreaths are amazing! Sunrise breakfast sandwich was very good and filling. This is a good place to grab a breakfast and sip some coffee on the way to work or meeting up with friends.

If I could give this lace 10/5 stars I would. First time eating the Roma Italian and my only regret is that I didnt get two sandwiches.

Ive been rambling down to Judys Place for a few years simply because it feels homey. Typically, I occupy the same corner table tucked next to the beverage machine and, along with a friend, enjoy great coffee, superb bagels (try the pretzel or the poppy seed) and smiling service. I suggest a twice-toasted bagel for the added crispiness. The muffins are tasty, but the cinnamon rolls are great. Because BABS is locally owned makes it even more important to support her business.

Great bagels and sandwiches. This shop makes especially good breakfast sandwiches. The drinks are a mixed bag. I like the coffee, but not blended coffees. The smoothies are from a box, but are very tasty. This is a Dubuque favorite and the wait times can reflect that. Also be warned it is not open for dinner at all.

Food is good but the service is soooooo slow. Waited 20 mins for a couple bagels and coffee. Doesnt seem to be enough people working here.

Great place but never enough people working. Waited 10 minutes only to move up 2 people in line, while the line was out the door.

Very good bagels and decent coffee. The icespressos are a bit over syruped, or at least they were when I ordered some. I like the poppyseed bagels but they also have really good fun flavors too. A box of 12 is kinda pricey but if you want a good bagel then you should definitely check it out.

I asked for a simple sandwich off the menu and they gave me bacon when I asked for sausage. Also my sandwich was not toasted. My friends bagel was not toasted when she asked for it and barely had any cream cheese on it. My other friend was destroyed was cream cheese and could not eat it. If Im paying $5 for a snadwich I expect for it to be made correctly!!!!

Very disappointing. I grew up for so long in Dubuque hearing about how Big Apple Bagels is the best bagel in town. Went there finally and I have to say, what a let down. Super bland bagel, horrible coffee that was not fresh, and service was not there at all. We mentioned its our first time and just got a blank stare. Didnt ring up our order correctly so I had to go back up to get my coffee, which ended up costing more than it would have because of their mistake. Really sad to have my hopes for this place ruined.Save your money and go to Einsteins.

Best bagels in Dubuque. Have enough different offering to please everyone in the family since one doesnt like bagels but is able to get sandwich on bread.

I had a chicken, ham and cheese on a bagel. It was very good. Employee was friendly and had a smile for me.

Very good choices of bagels and flavored spreads. Good coffee. Workers are pleasant.

Service was fast and friendly. I LOVE the bread bones they sell, but more importantly my dogs do 😊
