Very disappointed with trade in/cash back value for golf clubs. The Stockton location is probably the best when it comes to this. Dont think Ill be going to do any trade in/cash back again here.

Went in here for the first time for some golf clubs. Ended up buying a set of irons for a good price. They have a lot of clubs for selection. They were pretty busy and who I think is the owner was a good guy and always on the phone helping customers. I will be back sometime in the future. Thank you!

BEWARE if you decide to utilize their return policy they will NOT actually credit or process the return. I later found out after waiting more than a week which the person who assisted me during my visit to this location advised the refund would take no more than a few business days.Just a quick background, I ended up purchasing an item but never got it delivered or even picked it up. I ended up just deciding to just return the item even though it never actually left their store... but I never got the funds back.Having to file a dispute with my financial institution, you would think especially that Play it again sports Dublin provided me with a return receipt would just accept the dispute and refund me like they originally were supposed to... but NO. They are actually fighting the dispute which is ridiculous and unprofessional as they supposedly processed the return and I do have proof of it with the receipt. Really shady and dishonest of them to do so. Let alone very inconvenient and disappointing that you yourself have to take initiative to get your funds back only for Play it again sports Dublin to dishonestly refuse to return your funds..I do NOT recommend this place after this incident.

Awesome assortment of used sporting goods. I came to check out the disc golf discs specifically. The first time I came the was about 30 used discs a well as new this time there were about 6. Great prices on the used gear!

Clutch! One of the only places that carries used skiing goggles. They will help you with any problems you might have!

We spent a lot of time looking online for a kids ski equipment trade in program after any mountain closed, this place has a good program! They will give you 50% of the resale value for your used kids ski gear and they still had a decent selection for my son in Nov. The prices were similar to any mountain.We are very happy to not have to buy new gear or rent every year. This was way cheaper than a season rental, plus we can sell back for next year. Weve had one ski trip so far and were very happy with the equipment.

I like the concept of the store. Reusing sports equipment is a good idea and should be done more widely. Unfortunately, the management of this particular location soured my experience. When attempting to return a pair of ski boots I called ahead of hand and was told one thing by staff twice that was not honored by the in store manager. This is frustrating because it takes me 45 minutes to drive to the store. I don’t understand why manager would choose short-term gains over retention of customers in the long term.

You get everything you come to expect with a used sporting goods store. I came in expecting to see used gear and equipment, which I did, however I was pleasantly surprised to see just as much new stuff. Seems to be about a 50/50 split. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for good deals or are even interested in getting cash for your old gear, this is a great place for you.

I wish the store was better managed. Decent inventory and more sustainable concept and buying new things I can be of use. Too bad the service is inconsistent and the management is not customer centered.

Yikes. Have been in here twice. And have tried several recumbent bikes. First time it was a ghost town and two teens behind the counter could not be bothered to offer to help us. One told us to “take care” as we were leaving. Today it was slightly busier. Still no offer of assistance. Did get a “thanks for coming in” as I left. Don’t expect I’ll be back.

Great selection of used sports gear. Lots of golf shoes and clubs, including putters. Pricing is generally good, but not super cheap, either. Good selection of used head covers.

I checked out every store that sells elliptical machines in the east bay and this was by far my best experience.The person I talked to is certified to repair any of the machines he sells and that gave him a wealth of knowledge that no salesperson could match. Felt more like an interesting conversation than a sales pitch. You can get used or new machines.Delivery is extremely cheap and he does discount repairs for customers even AFTER the warranty expires. If you are looking for a budget elliptical dont miss this spot.

Place is hit or miss, as expected with a used sporting goods store. What I didnt like is how I was looked at and followed around the relatively small store like I was about to rob them!! Until i finally made a purchase, took it home went to clean it up a bit & realized a cpl of the wheel bolts were stripped. I was able to return or exchange it but that too wasnt fun or easy as I received the same looks & treatment... The staff at the store in Concord or Pleasant Hill is much better!!!

Sometimes you find some great stuff. Sometimes, not so much. If you have a young kid in baseball, soccer or another youth sport, its worth checking out before buying new equipment.

Nice store tucked into the strip mall. They have TONS of merchandise for almost every sport.Look here for the sport you need before going online or buying something new.I got several baseball gloves with lots of life left in them for $10!

You can find sports equipment or accessories at good bargain prices. Purchased couple golf clubs at very reasonable price.

Easy access from the 680 and 580 freeways. Lots of great new and used sports and exercise equipment. It is in the same center as cost plus world market.

Why buy new sports stuff for your growing players!?? You can also find some new last years items too. Some items are marked too high or 2nd hand. But it is worth the trip here first. Overwhelmed with baseball & weight

Excellent deals for used sports gear. I got used snowboarding boots and snowboard here. The staff there are knowledgable and helpful.

I appreciate having a PIAS nearby but this one is particularly unorganized and dirty. it was quite difficult sorting through their used hockey gear. Good location and they have a decent supply of used equipment but definitely need to clean and organize the place. I also found out they dont do skate sharpening.

A lot of golf equipment among all the other sports paraphernalia. Prices were a bit high for used items but in good shape.

Severely damaged my rear bumper while taking out Treadmile. before letting me lay down protective sheets to protect my mothers brand new car. The owner did not want to talk to me and asked me to leave a message multiple times, first time I called they lied and said he was on lunch when I had just left the store 2 min after the incident. Good staff, terrible service and attitude. No sorrys, acted if it had never happened.

This is my local PIAS, and I was pleasantly surprised when they reopened just around the corner from my house.They have a sizable selection, and reasonable pricing. There arent many steals to be had here, but you will likely save a few dollars on shipping over buying comparable merchandise on Ebay.Where this store falls flat is its owners dismissive attitude towards customers. I understand small business owners tend to run light on staff, and that most of his job is basically busy work sorting and organizing sporting equipment, but talking to people with courtesy and respect shouldnt be a tall ask.The young folks he hires to work for him are hard working, kind people for the most part. And I give the place the benefit of the doubt because he must be doing something right to have such good kids working for you. But Ive been in the store numerous times, wandered a bit, and left, without having spoken a word to him. At this point, I go to this store specifically to browse. Where other sports stores I go to for advice.He posts most of his big ticket merchandise on Craigslist also, so if you sort by sporting goods, and Dublin, you can usually see the stuff he sells most often. And you can usually tell its his store because of the dreadful quality of the posting and accompanying pictures.This place is also a reseller for a lot of the equipment you buy from Amazon.They also deliver and build machines you purchase from them, and offer a range of service packages to help keep them running. Honestly I wish I could find a way to get past how this owner makes me feel, because other than his dismissive demeanor towards me--and my family--this place is a great PIAS.
