We set out to replace all 14 windows in our home and spent a lot of time researching window options and getting quotes. We contacted Hegg after reading a number of positive reviews on Google and were extremely impressed with Daves knowledge of the industry and range of window options. He listened to what we wanted and made us feel comfortable in our decision - without an hour and a half long sales pitch. We ultimately decided to go with Hegg because of the interactions we had with Dave and Traci as well as the fact that they offered the best combination of quality, price, and warranty service. The project took 3 days and the team was professional, friendly, and mindful that we were both working from home at the time. We would highly recommend Hegg and will definitely use them again (probably not for windows) but when we decide to replace doors.

We hired HEGG to replace five windows, a sliding patio door, and a steel basement door in our home, and we could not have asked for a better experience all around. Our initial meeting with Dave was informative with no pressure whatsoever. He explained different options while keeping our budget and our home’s existing style in mind. We had never replaced windows or doors before, and Dave answered all of our questions without hesitation. Everyone was incredibly responsive too. I always heard back from Dave or Tracie within one day of reaching out to them. Everything was clearly laid out, reviewed, and then reviewed again to the point that I felt totally confident in our decision to do business with them. Installation was seamless. Although three days’ worth of work had been scheduled, the crew got everything installed in only two days. They did not rush either – they took their time and even swept and Swiffered after wrapping up on both days. The crew leader reviewed all of their work with us before they left, and Dave even provided some new trim for one of our older windows (which we did not replace…yet) so that it would match the new ones on either side of it. We need to redo our bathroom sooner than planned since the window is now the nicest thing in it. We’re very pleased with the final products and would not hesitate to hire HEGG again.

The entire process from start to finish was fantastic! From sales presentation through to installation everyone was professional, friendly, and responsive. Dave did a great job providing information on the windows and pricing. Tracie in the office always kept us up to date with information surrounding our installation even given the craziness surrounding the scheduling during the current pandemic. Jeremy and Jake were awesome during the installation - always friendly, courteous, professional, and on time; they were great at keeping our house clean and organized during installation. In the fall of 2019, I sought three quotes for new windows. Hegg Windows & Doors beat the other local bests by nearly $2,000... but thats not all! The individual who quoted me at my home was the owner of the company, Justin. He was personable and spoke my language. The 2-man installation crew was exceptional as well; these two individuals left my house just as clean as before they started the installation. They even ran their vacuum before they left! The installation was seamless and about three hours faster than I expected. I messed up some of the caulk (entirely my fault) about five minutes after they left my house (because I have no patience!) and the owners dad came out a few days later and re-caulked my window. My windows have allowed more light into my home, have reduced outside noise and instantly reduced the need for heating in my house (I keep my house at four degrees cooler now - quite the difference). They are just the friendliest people. It warmed my heart to hear one of the young installers on the phone with this retired gentleman asking him to meet them for lunch - apparently its a tradition at Hegg for the employees to eat lunch together so that they can get to know one another. This is a family-owned and operated business that exceeded all of my expectations. Hegg replaced six windows in my house. I selected them after meeting with 5+ vendors. The representative from Hegg that I worked with was professional, easy to talk to, and as a woman something I value particularly, not condescending! They were also low pressure sales and gave me the information and time to make a decision that I was comfortable with. The installation was done well, the windows are great, and the price was hard to beat! All of their staff and service has been similarly good.

Hegg Windows & Doors is the best window and door company in central Ohio! Ive used others and havent been near as impressed. Justin and his team at Hegg were great to work with. We were happy with the no pressure sale from the owner (NOT a commissioned salesperson), communication throughout the process, the EMPLOYEES who came out to do the install and communicated the whole time, and no demand for payment until they knew we were happy and everything was done. With this being our first home my wife and I didn’t know anything about windows and doors. We received quotes from other companies but were not confident they would meet all our needs. Once we contacted HEGG and meet Mark, we had the feeling he was the right guy for the job. From the beginning Mark was super knowledgeable and took his time to explain every aspect of the project to us. There was never any pressure to jump into a contract and he never try to up-sell us products. Mark was realistic with the timeframes and was even able to get the job complete before the timeline we originally agreed on. The team of installers were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They completed the job on-time and made sure they left our home better then they found it; they even vacuumed up the floor. During the installation Mark and Justin both came out to check up on the project to make sure everything was meeting our needs. We continue to get compliments on the work HEGG did, I cannot recommend them enough!

My husband and I had a great experience from beginning through completion of our new front door Project! Cant say enough good things about the provia door.....it is a fiberglass door which looks and feels like a wood door.....installation went smoothly and will use this company again!!!

We are replacing old wood windows with Marvin wood, and each window has its unique challenges. Dave is confident in his team, and the finished project looks great. The installers were awesome too. Honest. Not afraid to have you compare their products to any other company. They actually want you to know what the specs mean, and what is important to you. Other companies put on a show and sell today. I never understood how one price is good today but not next week or whatever. None of that BS with Hegg.Install was great. Thank you Hegg Windows & Doors for an exceptional experience! I had several estimates....some were painfully long and totally overpriced. Lots of bait and switch tactics. Dave was a breath of fresh air when he came to provide an estimate. No BS, no today only price, no gimmicks. I opted for the Marvin ultrex fiberglass windows. The install took about 2 days for all windows in a typical 20000 sq ft home. Installers did a wonderful job! I cannot say enough about this company!! Excellent value, professional installation, and follow up to ensure everything was completed as promised. If you are in the market for windows, please please do yourself a favor and call Hegg!!

Great work! We had our front door replaced since it was original to our home, and we were impressed from the beginning to end of the process. We needed a custom color to match our neighbors, and Hegg matched the color exactly. There were also some issues with unexpected rot in the door frame, and the crew took care of it on the day of installation without any issues. They even took pictures of the rot and the process to fix it so that we could show our homeowners association. We also appreciated them coming out afterwards to do a final inspection of the door. If we have future window or door needs, well use Hegg again.

We had a great experience with Dave, Justin, and their install team. During our front door replacement we knew there was some flooring that was going to need repaired, upon inspection they found more damage than expected and were able to get it fully secured and finished in the same day. They have always been responsive to calls and emails, showed up on time, and their crews were very professional. After putting on the new door, we decided to add a storm door, which they were able to give us a few options based on what we were looking for. Very trustworthy company, followed up after each job to ensure we were happy, not to mention their prices were as good or better then the other Sales Prices we were quoted from other companies. How did it go?? Im gonna tell you everything. Im sorry theyre gone, and want to come up with more money to have them back. Ive never hired a company, not even from Angies List, that has performed like Hegg. We had 23 wood casement windows replaced on our 100 year old home; they were literally falling off the house at times. Dave came over, was professional yet personable and approachable all at the same time, and showed us whats available in various price points for wood windows that would be appropriate for a house of this style and age. I wasnt happy that the trim had to be replaced, but they assured me that it would match exactly what had been there before, and for once I succumbed and trusted them. They inspire that. So, theyre all finished, and they are PERFECT. Theyre extremely high quality windows with only the best materials (my trim is treated cedar! Do you know how high end that is??) and they came in at the LOWEST BID. How often does that happen?? Some big name companies quoted more than double the 23k I paid. One company quoted me about 34k with me replacing all the trim work myself, inside and out. I was so desperate for windows I was considering it. Thank God Dave and Justin came, its honestly like I lucked out here. Their installers are really nice guys who are very conscientious of your home and actually clean up and vacuum after every shift. Wow! Justin came himself to help with the finish work and to make sure things turned out OK. As it happens, some of the trim wasnt exactly as it had been--he went to the store, found the right router bit, removed all the trim hed already put up and redid it all. I couldnt believe it. Poor people like me just dont earn this kind of service. Theyre even coming back later to replace a couple little parts that didnt come from the factory in perfect condition. This sounds line a planted review, but I swear its not. Im just so excited about my new windows Ive waited so long for, and I do really like telling people what I think, so here it is. Please whatever you do, before you hire Renewal by Anderson or Apco or Infinity by Marvin or whatever, please call these guys, they have several different lines to fit what people are looking for; Dave actually told me he had regular old vinyl windows if thats what I wanted, but he would be sad if thats what I wanted for my craftsman house. And you dont want to make Dave sad.UPDATE: Dave stopped by and didnt like how many of my screens were sitting in the frames, so hes ordering new screens. He says as many screens as it takes to make it right. I didnt even know it was an issue.(Im reposting this review here since Google made them 2 pages by mistake.)

I wish we had more windows so I could hire Hegg again right away! How do I even start about how positive our experience was with them?After having multiple pushy salespeople come to our home (a few that stayed for two hours and just would. not. leave. despite us saying we would need to think about it), Mark came in and treated us like humans, not a pocketbook. He taught us everything we could ever want to know about how windows worked, talked us out of spending more money even before we could reach the cost part of the job, and overall talked to us as if we were friends seeking advice on windows, not as a customer. This may be the first time in making a big purchase that I never once felt any pressure from the salesperson... It was so refreshing! Needless to say, my husband and I didnt even hesitate purchasing our new windows from Hegg. Their value, the experience we had during the consultation, and the overall quality of what they were offering was hands down the best of everyone we spoke to.When it came time to install, Hegg got us our windows nearly three weeks sooner than we expected! Just in time to enjoy some nice fall days. The installers were actual people from Hegg (or at least have worked with Hegg for awhile), not just random contractors hired for a job like other companies we consulted with use. They were incredibly knowledgable and helpful when it came to deciding things during the install in regards to existing parts of the window frame. Our house is 60+ years old and they had thought of everything in the book for what problems they could encounter for removal and prepared for it. Mark even stopped by just see how things were going and to make sure we were happy so far. Even Justin, one of the owners, came out on day two of our install to check on things, which just solidified to us that we made the right call when hiring them. The windows were installed very quickly and look exceptional.... Our entire house is so much brighter and more enjoyable to live in! My only regret is that we didnt buy a house with more windows ;)I could go on and on about how wonderful Hegg was, but if you are looking for a company that does great work, knows everything under the sun about their product and the job at hand, and want to be treated like family, then I cannot recommend them enough!
