Masked or unmasked vaccine or no vaccine it doesnt matter. A mask will not save you neither will the vaccine if its your turn to go.I was harassed by three employees for not wearing a mask. I refuse to comply with the state of tyranny and I will take my business where people will not harrass me. Especially in front of my child.. Its no wonder why this shopping center is empty. To the employees that harassed me i say wear ten masks or a spacesuit if it makes you feel safe just dont bother healthy individuals. I will never return

You always have what I seek. Customer relations is expert level. My last visit left me stunned. Five checkouts busy and the line went to the rear of the store! There must have been maximum occupancy and everyone had an armload. The cafe was packed, long line and the counter was well manned. Kudos!

I LOVE THIS PLACE ITS LITERALLY MY SECOND FAVORITE PLACE. Fantastic staff who are genuinely the kindest who are not that intimidating for an introvert like me. Ive also been buying books from them for like 10 years and they never fail to meet my expectations. Their CD section is also great, and now I have a bunch of old Taylor Swift cds for my collection :) Honestly, the only real complaint is that I cannot stop going here and spending my money bc it literally has so many books and things I wanna buy and now Im gonna go broke. Worth it though

Great place for books. Prices are high and they dont give teacher discounts to preschool teachers which is puzzling. But otherwise its got a great selection of the latest and greatest authors.

I love to walk around and find a new book whether it is sci fi, computer or just a great reading book. It is great to be able to check out the selection.

Nice and helpful staff helped me find books on numerous occasions and even helped me place orders. Lines can get a little long at times but the staff keeps it moving at a steady pace.

One day I woke up and had a deep desire to go to a bookstore. I had forgotten about BN and rushed in with a big smile on my face feeling like I was a prom queen returning to a reunion! It was the BEST feeling walking into a real bookstore and not Amazon strolling! Thank you BN for sticking around after (during) this pandemic!

Very good books, even has manga near the Starbucks, and everyone there was super nice so thats a plus, its not dirty at all and the Starbucks is clean too, theres nothing bad about this place basically :)

This Barnes and nobles has a huge inventory of books, toys, and collectable items. I used to bring my boys to play with the train set in the kids reading area, but because of covid-19, it is no longer available. Thats the only real bummer. The kids enjoyed it here. They explored books, education, and the toy section. The toys have really gotten better. There is a ton of cool and educational toys to pick from at a decent price. You can look at toys, have a cup of coffee, look at collectables or just look for a new adventure in a book. Staff is really nice and the store is safe and clean. 5 stars.

Found what I was looking for and some (which is always how it goes when I shop at Barnes & Noble). Clean store, got a free brownie sample from Starbucks barista who was walking throughout the store giving shoppers treats. No long wait in line. Great shopping experience!!😊👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Its unfortunate that everyone is moving away from retail stores to online.....The staff are and have been amazing not a single bad interaction since this location opened. I walked in went to customer service to find a book for my daughter the young lady was amazing she looked and looked until she found out. Amazing‼️

Its not just a bookstore with a large cafe that you can order Starbucks drinks. It has a huge childrens area (0 to teens in terms of books, toys, stuffed animals, an area for Storytime (held on some Thursdays and most Saturday mornings), music and DVD area that also sells a good selection of records (33 1/3), Toys and Games (LEGOS, STEM, Craft Kits, Licensed Merchandise - Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.), pre-K to elementary school educational materials), Magazine and Newspaper area, small gifts, their Nook.If you need help or have a question you have to go to Customer Service area. There isnt any staff on the floor.My only issue is that this store is filled with so much stuff, its hard to walk around in some aisles because either there are tables fullof stuff or boxes stacked from the floor up. You have to look up towards the ceiling to see the signage for each of the departments because of how much stuff is either stacked up on tables or the rows of shelves are pretty tall.It was hard to get to the register area to pay because the aisles around that area are very narrow and cluttered with stuff. Can be difficult if you use a wheelchair or push a stroller.There is free wifi throughout the store. During the weekends the store is crowded and finding parking can be challenging. You will circle around because Barnes & Noble is just one of the many big box stores and chain restaurants in the massive Hacienda Crossings shopping complex. And this is the only B&N in the Tri-Valley Area - sad when they closed the Walnut Creek location years ago.

This book store is a favorite place for me. I miss independent book stores but at least I can still walk in this place and find all kinds of books, magazines and gifts and gadgets. The only bad thing is it is too far from my house. Or maybe thats a good thing. 😀

I absolutely LOVE the selection of childrens books and toys. This has become my new go to spot for gifts and toys for my granddaughter. Lots of educational items.

This Barnes and Nobles location keeps the front doors open with a circular setup for people to navigate through fairly quickly and easy. Not much crowding in the store and the flow feels free and open.

Store is clean, cafe offers a variety of drinks and snacks including sweet and savory. They serve Starbucks coffee drinks, they dont take the Starbucks app or gift cards but a good place to hang out or study. Good place for children with the small kids section with small chairs and tables and easy to keep an eye on kids while they explore.

Good for last minute gifts and meeting for coffee. They never have the books I want.

I go to BN for holiday shopping. Everytime I have success with interesting gifts, toys, stocking stuffers, music, magazines and books. It is a pleasant shopping experience. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful.

I love browsing through the store, from books to magazines, music, movies and cool memorabilia. Its always fun regardless of if I buy anything or not. One can also enjoy hot or cold drinks, and various desserts while visiting. Great place to also burn time while the rest of your party is shopping nearby. The customer service is nice and helpful once you track someone down, and the prices on some items are comparable to online or other stores. With big box bookstores closing down, I really hope this one never does!

Great selection of books, some good bargain tables make nice gift choices. Unfortunately, line is always long when our family goes. Starbucks inside is convenient to relax with a new book or magazine. Staff rarely smiles on bookstore. Seemed like everyone is very serious, maybe tired? Would appreciate a little more effort to offer help and greet us when we are buying a stack of books! Nice kids area, well-maintained.Glad we still have a B&N on the Tri-Valley. Difficult to find these days.

I love this place, sometimes I buy things and sometimes I just want to walk around checking new books or collectibles. Their staff is helpful and knowledgeable. If you sign up for their membership you get 10% off with every purchase. I love to go to their coffee shop and sit down sipping on a coffee while I read a book. The barista Kristina is really nice!

It turns out my son loves the LEGO box more than anything else. There are so much to enjoy here as a family. Got a membership and hope to come more often and explore area by area and take our time to digest one piece well at a time. Like a library but it has all new books. Children’s area seems to be a lot of fun too; no time to enjoy though.

A good ole book store experience! They’ve got the coffee and stacks and stacks of books, what more do you need? In addition, they have a great kids book area with a play table for the littles. They use creative displays to get the books at kids eye levels and keep them engaged. We will definitely be back!

Stepped into this location with my kids for the first time. Store was clean, organized, and the staff was friendly. Kids section is very inviting. Stopped by at the in-store Starbucks for a chai latte. It was pretty good! They also have snacks which is a great in case you get hungry 😉.

We come here all the time. Sometimes three times a week, the staff seems friendly (especially in the cafe). We do love the selection of books but we also come for the collectables and cards, they are always cleaned out and I wish Corp. Would send a more steady stream of mystery box items and Magic the gathering cards.

The staff here are always friendly and helpful. I can usually get a table in the Cafe area, order a Starbucks Nitro Brew, and read two magazines or books for every one that I buy. Its a pleasant experience that you cant get from an online bookstore. I used to to go to Borders in San Ramon before it closed. This B&N is now my fave.

Excellent variety of books for children and adults. And DVDs too! Lot of parents bring children here to encourage book learning. Store has planned activities for children.

This location is fairly busy compared to others Ive visited, but its the only one in the tri-valley that I know of.Selection is generally good, from my limited searching. They definitely keep things stocked and update their special sections. The checkout can form lines often, but usually are quick since they provide plenty of employees to help.Parking is plentiful (free).

Reading is one of lifes greatest gifts. Barnes & Noble in Dublin helps facilitate that experience. I have had nothing but the best experiences there. The book sellers and music and video sellers there are always very helpful, and I always appreciate that. It is a wonderful shopping experience each time I go there.
