Replaced rear brakes and tires on my daughter’s car. Tire was flat by the time she got home after less than 10 miles of driving. The valve stem was inside tire. I drove to Meineke and showed Chris the manager photos. His response was a very snaky “well what do you want me to do about it?” I gave him three guesses. He sent a tow truck that would not tow the car because of the flat rear tire. The driver did help me with the spare and bent his lug wrench because the lug nuts were in too tight. Apparently this can warp the rotors. Chris said this was not true, I asked my every tire place I have been to uses torque wrench so as to not over tighten. He had no response. No apology, just pure bad attitude.Beware, he would not accept the Meineke $50 rotor/pad coupon I presented to him when I first picked up the car.

Do NOT have your vehicle serviced here. My AC stopped working and I was only in town for the day. I made an appointment for the Free AC check and was told by the store manager, Chris, that my AC needed charged. I picked up my car after it was serviced and 2 hours later my AC was not working. I took my car back to the store and Chris told me he could check it on Monday. I told him I was from out of town and after much persistence on my part he finally popped the hood, and it took him a mere 5 minutes to discover that a relay was getting overheated. He charged me $350 for a service that MY CAR DID NOT NEED (I only found out after I picked my vehicle up that the refrigerant was only low by 25%…not enough to make the AC consistently blow HOT air!) and then he wanted to charge me an additional $8 for the relay that was the entire issue…that he didn’t have in stock…and wouldn’t be able to get until Monday…when I was already back home. He made no attempt to return any of the $350 for the unnecessary service, never apologized for all of the inconvenience or the misdiagnosis of the issue. He simply made excuses to justify his actions. He ended our conversation by saying “bye,” shut my hood, and walked away mid-conversation. This is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. He stole money from me. That man is a crook. Do not support this business.

I will be getting all my car services done here from now on. Chris at the front desk is a great guy, he worked with me to find the best solution vs. making money. I would recommend anyone to give those guys a shot.

I have moved all my business to this Meineke for my cars. I called this Meineke with a problem that I was having Chris got me in same day and fixed everything that was wrong. Got me back on the road fast! The team and Chris at this location were very helpful and friendly. Im only going to this location from now on!

This shop was quick and efficient with fixing my cv axles. They were straight forward and transparent every step of the way and had the repairs finished same day as drop off. Will definitely go back and highly recommend for any repair needs!

I requested flushing the brake system and bleeding of the brake for regular car maintenance of my 2000 avalon but when I called the store, Chris the manager answered and asked me why I was just now getting it done on a 19 year old car to which I replied it was for maintenance and if I was able to get an appointment. Chris said Ill pass and ended the phone call which was very unprofessional and rude. Chris had an attitude and didnt seem like he wanted to provide service, I dont think this store has adequate mechanics to do a good job, thats why it seems like they are having an attitude and refusing service. Im a student and didnt need Chris to criticize my old car for no reason, I will never go back to this store again and be subjected to bad attitude and sarcasm.

I was given an estimate in ten minutes from the time I pulled in... was able to have schedule the next day and the work was done to my satisfaction. The best part was when the bill was given to me it was $300 less than the original estimate and more than half of the estimate I had received from the dealer. I would certainly use this shop again.

I cant recommend the Meineke on Sawmill road enough! I am always wary of being taken advantage of by mechanics, but here they are always honest with me. There have been times I say I think I need this and this and they will tell me nope you only actually need this cheaper thing! I will not take my car anywhere else, I trust them completely.

I had an issue with a piece of plastic dragging under my car and Meineke got me in right away, helped me out quickly and the cost was less than expected. The representative that was at the front of the store was very friendly and helpful.

Attempted to replace my battery in my car myself, however previous shop I used used an impact gun and damaged the lug nuts. I was able to bring in my right away and had my car back up and running in an hour.

Had gone in for an oil change somewhere else and they discovered a leak and couldn’t fix it. Went to Meineke and they suggested using a different kind of oil to use rather than fix the minor leak, which could have cost over $1,000 to repair. I feel if I had gone elsewhere I would have been told it needed to be repaired!!!

My check engine light came on and they got me in immediately. Usually they charge a diagnostic fee that goes towards repair services after they find the issue. They were able to read the repair code and notified me it should be under warranty. When I came to pick my car back up, they didn’t even charge me a diagnostic fee. I had called around and was going to be charged up to a $150 diagnostics fee at other service locations. I appreciate their quick and honest feedback and will be sure to use them for any future repair needs not covered under warranty.Thanks you!

Straight up honest time and charges estimate was given. I accepted. Saw the guys working in the shop. Problem was a little more involved than expected. They did the work in same price and time.Got a small town shop experience in a big city. Can’t ask for more.

Everything was good until I had a caliper replaced. On the phone, I was told that the part was $90, and the rest of the price would be labor. The day they replaced it, I paid, and I received a receipt showing that I was charged almost $200 for the part instead of $90, and the rest was labor. My total was over $400. It took them about an hour to do the work. Out of curiosity, I called two other car shops to see what they would charge for the same job, giving them full details on the make/model of my car, and both places quoted me at $200. I should have called around before I settled with Meineke, but I was naive and trusted that they wouldn’t screw me. I was wrong. I was literally double charged for what the price should have been. I won’t be going back to Meineke.

Walked in, old man sitting behind the counter just stared at me. There was another customer standing in there so, I thought maybe he was helping him. After about 30 seconds of awkward silence, he asked if there was something he could do for me. Acted like he was annoyed I was there. Told him my car was misfiring like my spark plugs were bad, although I had changed them about a year ago. He asked me, how do I know my car is misfiring? I dont know, because it is? He asked a few more questions I didnt know the answer to, that annoyed him as well. He then told me he would charge me $89 for a diagnostic test, of which he already knew what was wrong with my car then charge me another $400+ to fix it. If he wasnt so rude, I probably would have just paid it, but went right next door to AutoZone. Got a free diagnostic test, bought a $60 part and replaced it in under 2mins. I have been to Meineke in the past and was somewhat pleased with my experience. Will not be going back again.

Vic was super nice and really helpful! He explained the problem with our car and how much it would cost to fix very clearly, and he gave us a fair price. We will be going back here in the future for any other repair needs.

Took my car in for a check engine light and Brandon was at the counter to help me. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and didnt hike the price up for parts and labor just because Im female. You listen to my concerns informed me what he would do if my vehicle was his and he didnt try to suggestively sell me anything I didnt want or need. He also provided me with a wealth of knowledge of where I could find rims and tires for my vehicle. Its been a long time since Ive been able to say that; I found a mechanic at a chain that wasnt all about financial gain alone, and was genuinely interested in both my vehicle and my well being on the road. Found my new maintenance mechanic at Meineke on Sawmill. Great work, honest mechanics and fair prices!

I called the same day and was able to get an appointment for an oil change. The were very friendly and got to my car very quickly. I always take my car to Meineke.

I thought the drive axle on my fiances car needed to be replaced so went in for a front end inspection. They told me that the drive axle & wheel bearing were fine but informed me that the motor mount needed replaced. They were able to order the part & replace it within 2 hours on that day, and for a reasonable price. They did a wonderful job.

We have taken all of our cars for the past 3 + years and we had great service in the past. I could trust the work needing to be done was actually needed and the quality of the work was good. A few months ago one of our cars developed power steering issues so we brought it in. We were told it was a bad steering pump so they replaced that part. The car drove fine for about three weeks, but the issue came back. We were then informed it was another power steering part that needed to be replaced. They also claimed that we were missing the power steering cap... But replaced that for free. Another month later our car is starting to have power steering issues again. Im not sure if its due to new management or new repair servicemen, but we have paid way to much money to have the issue return. I cannot recommend this location for service work/repair anymore.

This service center never seems particularly busy, and its a shame given the quality of work they perform. The sales people are transparent and honest. Their staff is quick and very knowledgeable. And the manager seems to really care about the quality of work his shop produces. They may be marginally more expensive than quick shops like Walmart auto center. But they do more than just quick fixes. If something is wrong with your car theyll tell you and they dont cut corners. Ive taken my work van here a few times for service and they always get me in fast, and out without any lingering issues. Highly recommended.

I rolled into the shop an hour before closing with brake lights and service lights all over my dashboard. I was stressed, confused, and thought I was going to be stuck overnight in a city I have never been in. Jason (I think his name was) calmed me down and helped my find out my brakes were leaking fluid. I got a call twenty minutes later that they thought they were going to be able to fix it before they closed. Then ten minutes later I got a call that it was fixed. Especially from coming out of town, it was incredible that they were able to fix it and get me on my way in such a quick amount of time. I would suggest this location to anyone and everyone.

Only fixed what was needed. Found the best way to fix exhaust problems. Less stressful when there is trust.

Great place friendly service, great work and awesome pricing. I had a front caliper go bad on me and Meineke got me in and out for much less then anyone else quoted me. That includes even some of my buddies who work out of there garage. My automobile is running great and I plan to return to Meineke next time I need work done on my automobile.

Great customer service!! Had brake issues and was accommodated immediately and asked to come in on a Saturday, which I didn’t think was going to be possible to get in on what is usually an extremely busy day for car repair shops. The back rotors and brake pads had to be replaced, 3 people worked very efficiently and intentionally and was able to get everything done within an hour. Would definitely recommend! Only reason not giving five stars is that my front brakes were repaired a month before and was told the back looked fine and didn’t need replaced, they started having issues 3 weeks after that appointment. Maybe they looked fine at that point of time, not knowledgeable with car repairs, would have preferred to have everything fixed in one visit. But was accommodated and given great customer service when I called in, staff is friendly and also taught me a few things about my car after asking questions. They get 5 stars for resolving the issue at a very timely matter and being a great team!

I made my appointment for 730 am , mechanics arrived then started work at 8. Am , a diagnosis of my car was done in 20 minutes. Result was back bearings, rotors, and brakes plus bleeding line 1,500 plus tax. I couldnt afford that much at the time so I cancelled the job until I could afford it,, Im 67 and in all my years have never had to pay a fee for having a estimate given, but i did here (50.00 cash) I could tell it was coming by the way the operation there is run. The other thing was the customer waiting room was dirty, coffee was empty and TV not on. What came to my mind was shady. I stopped on for the first time today because they were recommended by the oil change place down the road. I described a hood release mechanism problem and that I could not open my hood. The person behind the counter asked me why I would need to get under the hood. Well...for everything in regular car maintenance! I was not impressed and will not be back for them to even touch my vehicle.

They defiantly try to drain your pockets I went in for 1 break line busted and they said it was policy and had to do all 4. They always say its policy and they half to go in order of procedures to make it more money for them I dont like going here but you be the judge.

I visited Meineke twice recently to have repairs done on my car; both experiences were fantastic. The first visit was to have a part replaced; I spoke to Donna and Cesar, both of whom were very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. The first visit actually took longer than expected because Donna decided to order the part from a different supplier, who offered the same quality part, at a cheaper price, than the local supplier. So in exchange for waiting an extra half hour for it to be delivered, Donna saved me a couple hundred dollars, which I sincerely appreciate. On my way out, Cesar brought to my attention that the car made a strange noise when it started (which I was aware of), which he told me was indicative that the starter was going bad (which I was not aware of). The next visit was to replace the starter; I spoke to Dale, who was also very polite and professional. They replaced the starter, and I have not had any problems since.In both cases, the Meineke did quality work, very quickly, and at a reasonable price. I appreciate that they did not try to take advantage of customers, but rather tried to save me money where they could and alerted me to potential future problems. I am highly satisfied with their work and customer service, and I definitely recommend them.

Employee at counter seemed offended when I asked why they needed my address when I checked in, after it seemed like he couldn’t find the appointment I made online.Waited an hour for an a/c recharge and had to listen to employees and their friends or former employees talk about their jail/prison experiences using vulgar language.Tried to bill me about $150 for the a/c recharge even though they were running an offer for 50% off that service, which I added to my appointment. 50% only applied to the initial a/c recharge and not the extra pound of Freon they claim they put in. Ended up still paying just under $100.Only nice thing was I could make the appointment with short notice, but now I can obviously see why. Will be sticking with Clintonville Auto Repair Service where I can trust the employees and service.

Branden and his mechanic helped me out so much with fixing my car. Monroe didn’t help at all. They couldn’t figure out the issue and said I had to go to the dealer. I have a new place to fix my two cars.

I have always received great service. I have been going there since they opened. They have always gone above and beyond to help me. We drive used cars and they have kept them running great far beyond their life expectancy and they have never overcharged me. We used other companies prior to going there and they are by far the most reasonable. Would not go anywhere else!

I worked with Adam and he was able to get me on the schedule- I was a walk-in- and get my flat tire fixed for a fraction of what other places charge. The service was fast and friendly. Do yourself a favor and use the shop!

Wonderful service and friendly! All I needed were front pads and thats all they tried to sell me. I knew the rotors were good. Most places will tell you that you need them just make a sale. Ive changed a lot of pads in my life but I had one nut that wouldnt budge and I completely striped it. Instead of telling me they need to cut the rotor bolt and charge me $150 for a new set. They cut just the nut and broke it loose. Everything only took an hour and they were busy.

What a great experience I had with my service at Meineke ! As a single woman, taking my car in for any type of repair is stressful. I never know if I’m being ripped off or not. My brakes weren’t working properly, so I took my car in to the shop. Normally (at other shops) I would expect to hear that I need new pads, rotors, etc meaning $$$$! But Jason said from the very beginning that the brakes probably only needed cleaned and adjusted, but they would look to make sure it wasn’t something more than that. And that’s exactly what needed done. Makes me feel like I can trust them!! Definitely recommend Meineke!!!!

Never tries to upsell anything or tell you that you need something if you dont. If you need multiple things done, he will prioritize them for you and inform you what needs to be done immediately and what can wait a while and takes the time to fully and clearly explain what the issue is and the best, most economical fix.I discovered this rare unicorn, the totally honest mechanic, a few years ago at the Westerville location and since have followed him to the Grandview shop and now in Dublin. If hes transferred again, I will go wherever he is no matter how far.

I was there for 3 hours. Towards the end they finally tell me why its taking so long. Shouldve told me at the beginning so I could make arrangements to get picked up.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!They DENTED my sons car inside their shop and refused to take responsibility. I have before and after pictures of the car. No mistaking, they did it!!!!!!!Nasty talking manger!!I will be calling the tire place across the street to let them who they are sending their tire customers to.Plus calling the BBB.Beware folks!!!!

Total rip off. Don’t fell in the trap of free diagnostic I took my car there last week for a check engine light left the car there they called me after an hour I went back they said it will cost me around $2500 it’s a lot of money for my 2010 ford which is hardly worth it so I said let me think about it the guy at the counter said I have to do the job now and pay $2500 or pay about $60 for diagnostic even on the work sheet it clearly says diagnosis charge is $00 may be it’s not a lot for some people but for me it is ! They took food from my kids mouth. (Shame on them)

Sawmill Meineke provides accurate, dependable service and advice and is very easy to deal with. Dale, especially, goes above and beyond to make sure our family vehicles get the specialty treatment (couple are pretty old cars) they require. My kids are treated well when they take their cars in as well. We will continue to get oil changes, engine work, tire repairs, oil leak repairs, brake work and whatever else comes up, fixed here.

Horrible service. Took my car in 3 times for the same oil leak with no results. Went from $160 to $465 still leaks like it did in the first place. They want More money to look at it again. When I told the “owner” I wanted it fixed right the first time and showed him pictures of where they Did Not complete or fix the job, he became irate throwing his hands around and had them drop my car. My previous appointment they had my car all day and lied about even looking at it. Unless you’re looking to get ripped off by a bunch of dishonest crooks I would not visit this shop. Horrible Service.

We recently needed significant service on our high mileage 2002 Land Cruiser. We were extremely dissatisfied with the dealer service quote and sought a second opinion here. The car needed a new radiator; water pump; timing belt; and rear brakes. Meineke confirmed the dealer recommendations and performed the expert, professional service for nearly 1/2 the cost of the dealer estimate! And they did the work in one day. I saved $600... by choosing somewhere else to repair my exhaust system. I actually frequent this Meineke for the oil changes and I do recommend them to others for their oil change services. However; if you want to pay reasonable prices for auto repairs, go elsewhere.

My car broke down when I was in Columbus for work, 3 hours away from home. I needed it towed so I saw Meineke include free towing, great! Call them and the guy at the shop Chris was extremely nice and helpful but once calling the number for the tow they said they would not tow me bc I wasnt a rewards member. I offered to sign up and they said I needed to do it in my phone which will take 30 minutes. Mind you Im broken down on the highway scared and alone. After 3.5 hours on the expressway waiting for my insurance tow I finally got it there. Had to have a new throttle installed for $800 which was fine but when I picked up next day, I pull out go 5 miles and realize no heat, no air and all the power to the area did not work. Took it back and the guy was a huge jerk! Saying this is a he said she said situation how do i know this worked prior. Even though they Had my car over night and worked on it. He spent less than 3 minutes on the inside of the car and was just like nope not my problem anymore. He said he can try to figure it out but not without charging me.. i said give me my keys to get me the hell away from them, drove home 3 hours in 32 degree weather. Got my car home today, husband spent less than 10 minutes and fixed it by just resetting the fuses. Clearly I would think a car mechanic should have checked this before being a jerk and trying to get more money from me. Only nice person there who I worked with was Chris. Other guy was an arrogant jerk.
