Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Very poor management. I tried getting my fleet vehicle fixed here because someone broke into my truck. After I initially made the appointment nobody wanted to help me. They didn’t bother to give estimates and said they weren’t for sure if the vehicle was “undriveable” because they didn’t bother looking at the paperwork that was already sent to them. My company will no longer do business with Gerber collision.

Had my SUV repaired here. Within 3 weeks after the repair, I was having issues with the repairs and immediately returned to the shop to show the staff. The GM at the time agreed to have it all fixed properly and they would call to re schedule. Never happened. I went back 5 more times....took the time to drive the truck there each time. In the meantime, they changed some of the staff. Found out this week that the new staff will not honor the old agreement from the former GM , and my truck was never fixed right. Avoid this repair shop at all costs. They did a horrible job and never made things right. Terrible customer service

Im having trouble getting things moving forward with them. I took my car in, they told me they would do an estimate and send it to my insurance. Weeks passed, my insurance never got anything, I had to call the shop, had them send the estimate to me, and I forwarded to the insurance. Then my insurance sent them back the approved estimate. I called multiple times to ask if theyve received approved estimate, and was told multiple times they would look into it and call me back. Weeks passed, no one calls me back, this happened multiple times, and the last time they said they would call me back, I said I was worried no one would ever call me back, the guy said feel free to go work it out with your insurance company - why my insurance when it is YOUR shop who wont get back to me? I told them what my insurance told me - the shop needs to call my insurance, I asked the guy if he could call my insurance, he said no, Im not getting involved, do you have another body shop your insurance can work with? I asked you dont want me to use your shop? He said Thats not what I said. - well, that certainly sounded like what you INTENDED. The whole conversation sounded like he was not willing to help me, sure he never said the exact words, but Im not too dumb to understand his intention. So I spent a lot of time to get the insurance company to send me approved estimate, and forwarded it to the shop. Next day I called the shop, a lady answered and said they got it and they would review it and call me back, I asked when would that be, she said as soon as possible. I asked a day, a week, more than a week? She said as soon as possible. I asked so its possible itll be more than a week? Guess what she said - Thats not what I said. I asked so you dont know how long itll take, she said as soon as possible. Couldnt get a simple yes-or-no answer from her. Sounds like they tried to avoid saying like I dont want to help, I dont know how long this will take - all the things that can serve as evidence that their customer service is not good enough, but no one is too dumb to understand their true thoughts and realize their customer service is indeed not good enough, actually this facade of niceness in wording make it even worse, because its NOT authentic, its misleading and infuriating. I understand your shop is probably busy, but I would appreciate if you all could just come out and say so, instead of hiding behind nice words and not having the guts to admit you cant satisfy your customers.

My car was sideswiped recently and I took it to Gerber Collision & Glass (Shier Rings, Dublin location). I spoke with Gerry (with a G) an estimator there. He looked at my vehicle a 2015 Infiniti Q50 and said this isnt worth it! He went inside, got a handheld buffer and solution...rubbed it out AND saved me $500 (deductibl)!!! Gerry with a G youre a Rick Star!

Have used them three times and there are several things that are annoying that they should try to change. 1. If you are going to offer the option to e-mail pics for an estimate on your web site, you should follow up on the requests. I sent two and got nothing. I called the Dublin office and he said I have no idea which office those go to, so can you go back on our website and see if there is a phone number listed and all them? annoying. 2. If you offer online appointment requests, you should follow up on those. I sent one last week and got nothing. I will be finding another place to go. Oh, one more thing. I felt harassed by your text requests during and after my last auto body repair. So much so that I blocked your number, and then when your office tried to reach out to me with real updates on my car, they couldnt get through. The work I had done previously, however, seemed fine to me..the overall experience leaves much to be desired.

I had to get some quick service done fast. They did a really good job with my Jeep! The staff was very helpful, welcoming, and they were knowledgeable of what I was needing. All work was done in 3 hours, so their quick labor time, is why, among many reasons, are getting a 5 Star Review. THANK YOU!

Involved in a rear end accident, Gerber replaced my rear hatch a few months but I have been back 3 times on warranty issues including the hatch leaking and staining my headliner. Will update upon completionUpdate: So after taking it back this last time for the hatch leaking I was told it was fixed and it was tested under water. I find this impossible to believe as today in the very light mist of rain the hatch is still leaking into the headliner. I no longer have faith that this repair facility is capable of actually completing the repairs. Review lowered to one star, would be 0 if possible. Additionally no member of management has reached out to me at any point up to today 8/26/19 despite the claim from the owner response and my only contact has come from the original estimator.

Great company! Had them come out to the house to replace a windshield on my car. Did a great job, was fast and friendly, highly recommend! We had safelite out a few days prior and their guy couldnt even get the windshield wipers off and left the job undone and without saying anything, they wanted $100 more too! Will be a repeat customer here if its ever needed! Thanks guys.

The estimator was a joke...He literally told me he did not want to do the job due to my car being 20 years old...My car has 70k miles on it.Car was going 5mph and hit a wall.some paint was needed and straigten out out hood lines that is it.The bum quoted me 2 times what my other body shops quoted.Like I said what a joke thhis place is.

I’m not someone who write reviews frequently unless the service is terrible or in this case exceptional! Although monetarily everything was handled through the insurance company, so I can’t speak on that or pricing, however the people working here are just the nicest, friendliest and kindest people I’ve ever dealt with in regards to vehicles. Not only was the guy who handled the car personable, friendly and knowledgeable, he went above and beyond by going over in detail the process that would happen, what they would do, what could happen, potential issues that may arise and time frames for completion but he was available through text consistently throughout every day and always responded promptly. Plus the consistent updates on completion was super helpful and appreciative.Lastly, I never caught his name but it went way above and beyond what he needed to do. When I picked up my car and dropped off the rental he not only helped me out but helped me move stuff between the cars including my dog who he wanted to hold and play with more than anything. This was a super cold day and something he wasn’t required to do but it made my experience even more incredible. My business couldn’t have felt more appreciated than it was here and my car looks like new! Highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone!

They ended up not doing any work for me because the damage to my (old) car was pretty minor, and the insurance company just sent me a check. They were very helpful running interference with the insurance company, though, so I have to give them points for that.

Gerber Collision in Dublin has had my car for six weeks. Initially it was supposed to be done in three weeks, then four, then five. Its still not done and its been six weeks. They offered all sorts of reasons (parts, etc.) but when I asked to come in and review the notes to get a better explanation, they refused to let me see them. I wanted to trade the car in to take advantage of an end-of-year deal and now that is impossible. I am furious. I would not recommend this body shop.

Concur with other posting.My car was side swiped, and brought to the Grandview location for repair on recommendation of my insurance company. Car was brought back to repair center 5 times with differing problems.Heres the list of issues upon each pickup:-Driver side doors not adjusted properly upon reinstall. Could hear wind coming through door when driving.-Improper reassembly of rear suspension/under carriage causing knocking noise.-Additional dent found that they had failed to repair.-Some type of debris left in frame that would rattle back and forth when turning.-Burn marks in rear seat belt (they had to replace)-Clear coat was splattered on and was rough to touch-Rear passenger door leaking (continuing to be an issue)After the 5th trip back to Gerber, only to pick up the car with continued leaking rear door, I had had enough and asked for a refund.To date I have not received a call back from their upper management, as requested.Next step, complaint to the better business bureau and possible legal action.(on a side note, I was the good guy here. Was courteous and patient each time I brought it back and had to wait for enterprise to come pick me up. Did not go irate and start screaming and yelling. Apparently the good guys get taken advantage of here. I have been dealing with this for 5 months now as of 7/15/13)

Excellent ! Gerber Collision in Germantown Maryland and Gerber Collision in Dublin Ohio both do great work. Highly recommend, even if you stop there just to visit as Hello, before you need them.In the Fall 2017, our 2006 Volvo V70 was repaired at Gerber Dublin Ohio following a large deer collision that affected the front and side of the car. No driver injury and no car structural nor drivetrain damage (Thank You Volvo!). I was so pleased we increased the Gerber scope of work to include an out-of-pocket 4x4 cosmetic paint for rear fender.That 4x4 cosmetic area must have had something wrong in the original 2006 primer because it recurred in May 2018. Gerber Ohio was wonderful and offered free repair, but Germantown Maryland was closer to our Virginia home. We made the phone call, made the connection, had a single point contact, and delivered the car. When we picked up the Volvo the car was fixed, the car wash washed and vacuumed, and I was ALL SMILES at the quality of the repair, service, professional, and more importantly the consistent positive interface with Gerber MD and OH.

Did not stand behind warranty when it came time to do a warranty repair to their work. employee and manager tried hard to convince me that it was something different than the collision repair warranty items/area. I will never use them again.
