I have bought several computers and tablets from this location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It does not feel like they are trying to upsell you on anything but genuinely try and find the tech that suits your needs.

I was never the biggest fan of Best Buy, but with the lack of Fry’s this has become my go to . I can pretty much get everything here except component level items. Nevertheless, I find myself purchasing more and more here. Staff is very friendly and courteous.

This is not one of the best Best Buy store out there. I dont mean in terms of customer services, but the layout of the store. Other Best Buy stores have better floor layout than this store. For example, the movie section is tuck away in the corner of the store and not towards the middle like other stores.

I went to pay my bill in the Best Buy in the city of Downey California.The cashier I went to was a very nice young man.I wish that I would have paid more attention to his name tag though.He was very nice to carry the conversation that I had with him he was very polite and very respectful.I wish there was more people out there in the open field work build out there like him good work whoever you are I hope to meet him again

Car audio worst customer service. lady working did not ask me if I needed anything you need any help and then after she helped the One customer as I waited she grabbed her backpack and walked out the door. Supervisor not any better, supervisor. Didnt do anything to help just said that the lady at the door ask me if I needed help I say just looking whatever catches my eye and the supervisors said did you tell the lady at the door what you wanted patronizing M.F.. will not and you should not go to this Best buy will be making a formal complaint on website dont go here!!!!!!!! The young gentleman at the register though he was polite apologize on behalf of Best buy.

Ordered a TV online went to pick it up everything went flawlessly the in-store pickup is outside in the front didnt have to go in the store just pulled up the associate Manning the table loaded the TV all by himself we didnt have to help her do anything on our way in just minutes.

Theres something about Best Buy that irritates me-like Frys did-they always must be the cat in cat and mouse games. They dictate, they are in charge, they often offer quick yet basically false promises to get you moving-so they can get to the next customer. Thats 20 minutes after meandering through a maze of the wrong people...Then there is everybody else whos decent hearted and helpless against this system employees and customers alike. I bought an Ilive auxiliary speaker for about 60 bucks 3 1/2 months ago. Not years ago, months, ago. As I walked around signs in the store boasting returns and repairs Best buy-back then-at purchase promises of repairs and replacements poured out the young men out front as I picked it up....(Seal the deal, get it off our hands? seems their M.O.) They suggest contacting the manufacturer... Advice to store dont rush customers through a process, especially if your intended level of support after purchase is half-mast. Advice to the customers if your treated like a number, a bar code to process, a cattle prodded through for monetary consumption? Try smaller chain stores.Fear not-I will call and set up an appt. with the store manager. I have bought many speakers at HALF this price that lasted almost twice as long.This is not what America was made on: Honesty, hard work, and standing by our work and what weve sold-its swindling for a quick buck with loads of pricey accessories thrust on our small-budget plates.

If I could write a -5 star review, I would.Not only was nothing in stock but the one thing we did find was locked behind a glass door. We waited in line 20 minutes for someone to help us and the only guy with the keys put us on queue and wanted our names and numbers DESPITE 6 other freaking workers nearby just standing around chatting. When we asked if someone could just open the doors for us and not make us wait the guy very rudely rejected us. We said screw it and went to go pay for something wed found on the side. What we went to buy was not only listed under the wrong price (yet correct label) but was three times as expensive.Id been here before a time prior with my mom to buy phones. They made us wait 55 minutes then helped someone behind us instead.Its clear this business just yearns to be burnt to the ground. Dont waste your time with this trash company.

If I could I would not give the ml. location any stars,the only reason I even go is because I have a card,first of all I went on a weekend to look at car stereos,when someone finally. Decided to help me,I asked to see the boxes on the stereos she points up to the rack ,so I asked how can you buy anything if you cant read the specs on items,she said that she knows them,so I asked her is it HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 on the stereo because I wanted the best picture of when Im driving,of course she told me HDMI 2,apparently she doesnt know anything,I should have asked about the 3d set up,so avoid this location at all cost, in fact avoid Best buy all together

The car install folks took really good care of me. They had the parts I needed to complete my install and get me driving away very happy. They took time to explain how my car radio worked and made sure I was satisfied with the install. They took care of the return of the wrong items I had purchased, all right there in the install bay. This car install team knows their business. They do it with a smile and the best friendly service youll get!

Went to get an item they said had 1 left in stock, asked a man on the floor about it. He did check the back and the floor aswell as the front, but could not locate the item. I bought something else and went to the front and was asked if i could be helped further and i said not unless you can find this for me lol and guess what? Not only did she find it up front but she found it in less then 2 minutes. Seemed like most employees there didnt care and store was the most packed store i had ever seen probably wont be returning to this location.

I purchased a lab top online. I received a message that read ready for pick up. Drove for 20 min. The employee at the door allowed a customer in the store before me. The employee looked at me and close the door. I see that the have a capacity. Therefore I stood there wait for him to come in to open for me to get my item. 10, 15 min go by still waiting. Finally another employee points at me letting him know there is someone there. That employee that close the door who I thought was doing his job. Shakes his head Nooo. Two other Best Buy employee come around and point at me. Finally he decide to come back opens the door and tells me that Best Buy is closed. I looked at the time it was 7:03 pm. Location closes at 7pm. I tell him I just came to pick my item you had me waiting here for more then 15 min. He tells me come back tomorrow or cancel your purchase. I have been purchasing at Best Buy for about 12 years. I honestly don’t want to return. I had to cancel my order. Very unprofessional. I hope Best Buy takes some action with this employee. I understand that we are tired but all he need to do was tell me. Hey we are close just took in the last customer if you would like you may pick up your item tomorrow.

Long story.. Grab a snack. Due to restrictions everyone must check in at the door and gets put on a list for help with their purchase. I wad told to wait in the back where the blue sign is. 12 minutes later someone yelled my name from the other side of the department. Not near the blue sign. I just barely heard my name called because it was coming from behind a large partition that served as a divider of sorts for the departments. When I headed in the direction the voice came from I couldnt find the person that yelled for me. Everyone looked confused and neither employee I asked could tell me who it was. I immediately got another text telling me I was back on the list and would have to wait again. I didnt wait. I got the attention of the person in charge and they pulled someone to help me. I get its hectic right now with all the restrictions, but they need to organize this a little better if they insist on having customers personally guided through their purchases. Designate a specific area AND have the employees go to that specific area when they are available to help. Dont yell from somewhere else in the store then put the customer back on the list immediatelywhen they cant locate the employee fast enough. I didnt rate lower because the person that did end up helping me was pleasant and quick.

I bought a laptop online and when I got the message that my order had arrived, I never received anything. I have been making the respective statements and your answers are very vague and without any proof that you have received my application well. They are practically not responsible for doing their job well, they do not even have criteria to leave an order that is of high economic value. Actually, it is not a good time to order online as they have a very limited stock. However, the customer service in this place is very good, the workers help you to find the product you want with a pleasant and cordial treatment. It is better to buy and pick it up at the store.

Best Buy is THE tech store for the everyday user. You might find a better deal somewhere else, but I doubt it’ll be by much, and if it is, they’ll probably price match. I find it really annoying that they ask you what you’re going in to the store for nowadays... unless you have literally no idea what you’re looking for. Also, it’s annoying that they blocked off the main road in the front...

Horrible. I took my brother to get a monitor since ours didnt turn on anymore and it was old. My brother purchased a $400 monitor. We got home and the screen was broken from a corner. We drove back and they had us make a very long line to go into the store. They didnt care even though we told them that my brother had to work in less than an hour and that it wasnt our fault that they sold us a broken monitor. Then, when we were at the Customer Service desk, the guy saw the monitor and called the manager over. She nodded and said cant return. I got upset and then she said that they were going to inspect the box. The box had no damages and it was only the monitor that was damaged. Im sure she assumed that we probably damaged the monitor when we got home or when trying to install it. It will be the last time I will shop at this store. Her assumptions were offensive to me because she categorized us as dishonest customers. Its not like they sell their products opened where we are able to see what we are buying. Or its not in a transparent box where we are able to see whats inside. The monitor is sold in a sealed box. So why even assume that we damaged it if they dont even know the products condition. It would be different if they saw what they were selling to us and now they would have a reason to say that we damaged it. Unbelievable, horrible customer service. The guy said because a lot of people return items (especially TVs) that they broke themselves means that everyone does the same. Just be careful. Check what your buying. Because then youll fall as a dishonest customer to them and theyll want to keep your money. Just because they think you broke it when removing it from the package. Its really sad. Just a warning. That was my horrible experience.

This location in Downey is nearest to me. I used to go here often. I received great assistance in the past and felt it was a great addition to the neighborhood. Recently, customer service has declined. For example, maybe 7 years ago, I bought my pc here with great ease because the representative who assisted me cared about me finding the pc that best matched my needs. When I went shopping for another pc, the experience was way different. I get after some years I will not find my same pc so I was willing to shop around for either a newer, different model or even a different brand. Im not the customer type who just walks in and hands someone money because thats the new version so it must be great. No, I need to know if it matches my needs, if the keyboard is comfortable, the battery life, whether the brand and model has any issues, what accessories are available, etc. If youre not going to buy that day and if you have too many questions, reps literally just walk away or another rep will call them to help someone else, leaving you standing there. Also, the companys policies have changed dramatically. Return policy is super short, 14 days, for all products. Geek Squad no longer fixes most problems in-house and your item has to be sent somewhere else, sometimes for 2-3 weeks.

I must say, Best Buy has their process down for pick up. I walked up to the pick up line, members came and asked for my name and within 15 minutes I had my order. The line may look long, but it goes by fast. Thanks for your efficiency! Great customer service, keep up the good work!

Long gone the days when customer service went the extra mile. So I guess the new rule is to sign up to be help. In which I totally understand due to covid. But Im the type of shopper that does research before buying something. So I pretty much know what device and model I would be purchasing before entering the store. When I arrive I was told I needed to sign up to be help. But in my case I was told I cant because there was only 35 min left in the store before closing. I said thats okay I dont need help I know what I want to buy and you guys have it in stock Id checked before coming to the store. So then I said can I just go grab the items and pay for it since I dontneed help or have questions. I was told no and I went ahead andtried asking other associates but no one offered to volunteer to just bring the items from the stock room to the check out stand.. On that day I was in need in buying a printer for my office In which it wouldve been a nice 500 dollar sale and two refrigerators that died on me that afternoon in which I went ahead and borrowed my friends pickup truck to load the new ones. Since no one helped] I decided to go to another store.As of today I will no longer be going to that location. Ive gone to other bestbuy in LA and Pasadena where the employee goes the extra mile and says no worries we have it in stock let me go grab it from the stock room and take it to the cash register for them to ring you up. Moral of the story is stock your floor on items people can just grab. Or have runners where they could just drop off the appliances outside for people who dont need help in carry outs or loading.

I hate to be a Karen, but I waited at your curbside pick up in Downey, CA for almost two hours this evening for them to tell me that they wouldn’t give me my items. They said that I wasn’t authorized to pick it up even though I had an email that clearly stated that I was authorized to pick it up on top of that, when I asked them to please check one more time the manager told me if I’m not happy to cancel the order. I 100% understand how hard it is for holiday workers right now. That’s why I happily sat in my car and waited my turn. I know your employees are doing their best and I don’t want anyone to get in trouble, but I think I deserve some compensation for this oversight.

This best buy is so unorganized!!! Whos idea is to make a single line to go in!!! They should have to lines one to go in an another to pick up your items you order online!!! Whos running this place!!! Can they figure it out!!! Super simple. Once you get inside you have to make another line!!! Never coming to this store. If you come make sure to bring snacks because you will be making line for 2 hours.
