Although it took longer than expected because of Covid, it was well worth the wait. I love my new mid century style recliner! Fits my 64 frame and is so comfortable.Looks so cool compared to the overstuffed Big Lots style of recliner. And most important, its made in the USA.👍

Very knowledgeable about their products right from foundation construction to fabric. Presented all options without sales pressure. Honest about delivery. Didnt make promises they couldnt keep. La-Z-boy has its own reputation but its good to know that it carries right to the salesroom.

We have an oasis now in our living room and the McKenna sofa is so comfortable! It has firm support so if you need that for your back, I would recommend it (not lumpy like our old couch)

I was looking for ottomans that matched the couch I had bought from there several years ago. The sales associate, Alex Ibarra, was able to access my old purchase order to easily figure out which model would work best for what I was trying to accomplish.And I even got three bonuses that I wasn’t even considering; 1-they roll, 2-they open for huge storage, 3-the sale price I got was perfect. I got 2 for slightly more than I expected to pay for one!I always have a good experience in this store.

I ordered my La-Z-Boy recliner in the height of the pandemic. I was very nervous about going into a store but the Rockaway store was wonderful. Every protocol was followed. I have a bad back and my old lazy boy recliner (which was manual & no longer provided me enough comfort) was 20 years. I went directly to the same brand which made me so happy. My salesman didnt disappoint. He knew what I needed to provide comfort. The chair arrived last week. The drivers were wonderful and set everything up to perfection. The chair is very comfortable. It is beautifully finished and I love it. I highly recommend La-Z-Boy and the Rockaway store location.

I went to the Dover store to look at recliners and Alex guided us through the whole selection process, he was very knowledgeable and easy going. I made him work up quite a few quotes he just hung in there with us. I can be very cautious at times. I bought a chair, then went back the next day and changed the material, again,quite a few quotes.All and all the experience was good and Alex rocked it.Looking forward to my new chair.Ps The only downside is the delivery time. 4-6 months but that’s with everything these days. It should be here fo my birthday.

Can not say enough GOOD things about La-Z-Boy. We had originally gone to a local competitor store. Other store was higher in price and would not provide a price breakdown on each piece. Definitely will be a return customer at La-Z-Boy.

Due to Covid many stores had limited inventory. Went to Dover La-Z-Boy and worked with Steve. He was extremely helpful, patient, and clear about available inventory and timelines. We found some thing we really liked and he worked with us on delivery and cost. Very glad with our choice and will use them again for future furniture needs

From the moment we walked into the store come up we were welcomed immediately by a pleasant sales person by the name of Steve, while he was very attentive, he did not follow us around the store or make us feel uncomfortable in any way. He was readily available when we needed assistance. We couldnt have asked for a better experience. We wound up ordering 2 couches, a love seat, and a chair that day! While it took sometime to receive our furniture, we were kept updated and any delays were as a result of covid virus. We now have our furniture and couldnt be happier! Only downside is that lead time has increased to nearly 4 months for custom (was 12 weeks 2 weeks ago), but not notably worse than competitors.Assuming product arrives near estimated date and as expected, will stand by this review

Steve our salesperson introduced himself as we came in, he asked what we were looking for, showed us where to find it,then left us to browse the store. He would check on us occasionally, without shadowing. We were there for 2 hours, and yes, we did buy 3 pieces of furniture.

The staff at this store is excellent and very professional. They work with you to figure out what it is that you really want and need. I specifically dealt with Shirl, a sales representative, and Brian, the store manager. I did not feel like I was being hard sold at all. Everything was 30% off for the Labor Day sale, and there were some of the floor items with clearance prices. I was buying a reclining chair, and Shirl walked me through a lot of indecision my part, with the utmost of patience and courteousness, to figure out what features I wanted, rocking, or not, power, or not, lumbar support, movable headrest, etc. I actually came back another day, and purchased one of the floor models. I came back another day to verify again that I had gotten the chair with the features I needed. I came back a fourth day, after having decided that I needed to make a change to the order, and they accommodated my request very easily, and very quickly. I would definitely recommend this store to other people and I will definitely return to buy more furniture from them.

We had to wait longer than normal to receive our chair and now that it has come in it is all dirty in multiple areas. I called to have a service scheduled to have it cleaned, but was disconnected on the call after giving all my info. The representative never even called back. Not impressed with this experience or level of service so far.

I am very ill......have no family and just lost my father now alone .......The one man was SO nice. He cared I was ill. I know fake. No he grabbed my hand you get better you hear, You have a great holiday with his eyes locked to mine. It had feeling and made me cry. I have felt so sad and empty. He was so loving and both had a wonderful cherry hi lazy boy here. That so needed for comfort with good support as ill person. What kind men.......of course no chairs beat lazy boys and this one is same comfort use to by a beautiful looking chair too. Love it

My wife and I have been searching for quality furniture and happened to stop in the dover/rockaway location with no expectations since we had not done any research through them. From the minute we walked in the store manager Brian was amazing and had all the answers and did not push us once into buying like other retailers. My wife had to come back without the kids and we ended up purchasing based on the experience we had with Brian.I will write a new review when the products arrive but thanks to Brian we are very happy with our purchase experience so far. I would also like to add that it was very very clean and they had processes in place to make my family feel safe during Covid.

Store is nice, beautiful couches

We went to Dover la-zboy, Brian was awesome, not pushy at all like some salespeople. He walked us around the store, showed us all options. After we picked the set we wanted, he worked up the price, for, electric, manual, and with or with out warranty. I would recommend him and the store to everyone. On a side note, this was the 3 set of livingroom furniture in 6 years, I had purchased memory foam in the past, memory foam is a terrible product after continuous use. I had a La-z-boy recliner for 7 years, lost to a house fire, after 8 years, it was still the most comfortable chair I ever owned, and thats why we went back to La-z-boy!

Brian was prepared for our visit. He asked what we were looking for prior to our visit and had hand outs ready for us as he went over the different furniture options. Customer service was amazing and the furniture was beautiful!

Won’t take delivery for a few weeks so can’t yet comment on the product - but the customer service was great. Our sales person really took the time to explain features and make sure that we end up with a recliner that we will love. I am looking forward to when my recliner arrives. 😊

This is a review of our sales experience, since the sofa we bought wont be delivered for several weeks.My husband and I stopped at this store just before eight on Wednesday night. We didnt realize that the store was about to close. However the manager graciously invited us in and proceeded to help us navigate the many choices. I was concerned that we were keeping her overtime, but she was cool with it. When we returned on Thursday to actuallymake our purchase, we just missed the manager from the night before. Another very nice woman took our order, assuring us that the manager from the previous evening would get the sale.I returned once more on Saturday to see if I could change the color before the order was finalized. Both of the other women were busy with customers, so a third woman was quick to help me. She listened to my reason for wanting a different color, and showed me samples of other color choices, making suggestions on how to incorporate the new piece into our established room.At no time were we rushed or made to feel any less important than someone who was buying a house full of furniture.Obviously customer service and customer satisfaction is the protocol at this store, from the manager on down.

The saleswoman was very helpful showing us different recliners along with fabric. We told her we were limited on time due to the fact we would be leaving the area shortly after the New Year and would need the chairs before the end of December. The chairs we liked were in stock and she was able to get a delivery scheduled for the following week.

We set out to just look around for new sofa. We thought this was going to be the start of a very long process that would go on for months. As soon as we walked into show room we saw sofa that we really liked. Ended up buying 2 sofas. No sales pressure. Price seemed reasonable. So far so good. Let you know more after delivery!

Excellent sales rep who had world of patience with senior citizen.When I told him I didn’t fit my recliner because I had gotten shorter he knew exactly what I was talking about .He showed me recliners with shorter back that I felt totally comfortable in. I couldn’t reach handle but was shown model with hand wand which solved that problem.This will be my fourth recliner purchase from La-Z-Boy since the 1970’s so I believe that proves loyalty to a great well made product and longevity of product.I will be donating my still very good old chair which is from 2004 to another family to use as soon as my new chair arrives .

Jessie and the rest of the staff at the Dover, NJ store were very helpful during my entire purchase. I recently had shoulder surgery and needed a recliner ASAP. I was able to purchase a floor model and with their help took it apart and put it in my truck. I have been sleeping well since the purchase and am very grateful with the compassion they showed.

Really helpful sales people who are there to get you a good deal. We actually came out spending a lot less money than we thought. The sales staff were great. They gave us the information we needed to make an informed decision, rather than push us into an unwanted decision. First La-Z-Boy purchase and we have not received the product yet so this is a review of the sales experience rather than the product.

We were very satisfied with the service provided by Robyn Shapiro. She left us alone to figure out what we wanted - we went in with no real idea of which direction we wanted to go. Once we had narrowed the feild, she assisted with sizing and fabric selection. I would highly recommend her to anyone using this facility

Robin was awesome! I didnt like that we were looking at a rug to buy that was unfolded for us to see, another saleswoman walked right on top of the rug. She had plenty of space to go around it, but chose to walk right in between Robin and us. We all were standing outside of the rug looking at it... and she waltz across it like NO BIG DEAL.

I bought a chaise from here. Two of the feet fell off due to poor assembly. They tried to tell me it was from normal wear and tear. The chaise stayed in one place and was moved minimally for vacuuming. They told me I would have to pay to get it fixed or buy the 2 screws to reattach the feet. After spending thousands of dollars on an item, they couldnt be bothered to provide the small amount 2 screws would cost.

They stock all of what you need when it comes to furniture shopping. I have no doubts recommending them to everyone who needs excellent purchases! Amazing prices!

I was in the market for a power lift chair and she showed me your offerings and pointed out the differences and helped me with determining the proper fit and features. As a matter of fact, I had brought a friend with me who will be looking to replace her living room furniture later this year and Robin had even assisted her with the possilbilities - needless to say, my friend has also impressed with her knowledge and will be reaching out to Robin later this year.
