Customer service has poor knowledge of their products. They cannot even tell you spefications on some of their current models. All responses from them are cut and paste. They dont want you to lodge complaints against them so they tell you complaints are through letters sent via USPS only. Im sure Casio Japan would never put up with such poor customer service.

Warranty is Worthless. I purchased the Casio AW-80-1AV watch 6 months ago for the 10 year battery life and the ability to swim with it (rated to 50 meters). My first time in the pool the watch showed condensation behind the crystal. The condensation made it impossible to read the face of the watch. Since I purchased the watch less than 6 months prior I sent it to Casio in NJ with the receipt and requested they honor the warranty. They wrote back that the case was cracked so the warranty did not apply. I called them back and told them they were mistaken the case is in perfect shape and that no seals had been broken. They refused to honor the warranty so I took it to a watch specialist who told me there are no signs of any cracks or seals broken. The watch specialist told me Casio was lying and just trying to avoid honoring their 1 year warranty.

This company is a complete joke ! I sent my $ 400 g shock watch there almost 3 weeks ago! Only got one email from them saying they got it 10 days ago. They give a link to track it and YET YOU CANT EVEN SIGN ON TO TRACK IT. And dont even bother calling them. I called 10 times and not a single person answered. Il never buy a casio product again. Iv had that watch only 4 months and i already had to send it to get fixed ! I wish i could give it less then a star.

I had a problem with a few G-Shocks I owned purchased from another retailer and tried to get a simply battery replacement but my watches were screwed up. I sent my watches to Casio America, Inc. and received great customer service with excellent follow up. I received my last watch today and thankfully everything is fine and working flawless. A special thanks to Hope & Steven for assisting me and keeping me a happy Casio customer.

I sent my 11 year old watch in for repair. The parts are no longer available. They are offering me another watch with the same features for a decent price. Great customer service every time I called. Very happy with the customer service.

I bought a G shock G - Steel dec.14th.2018 and only had it for 22days , the paint on the letters of C&K fell out ” saying G Sho with out the C & K . Letters fell out For no reason , I thought G shocks was built for there toughness ? I shipped it to Casio repair In New Jersey 22 Days after I had it , They sent me $28 fee to get it fixed, I sent them a money order and they did get it because, I called about , and it’s now going on a whole month and another week . I haven’t gotten my watch back from them yet ???? The shop told me the Watch Brazil Is on there back order meaning they don’t have any available and their waiting for Japan To send it to them . This watch was a Christmas gift , and I’ve haven’t gotten to enjoy my gift since then , I receive no emails From them on my watch , no information of how much longer it’s gong to take , I paid $400.00 for this G-steel G shock watch . And this is what I get in Service , I don’t know what they do in the shop 8hrs. Of the day , I don’t know what there getting paid for ??? But “ they kept my watch longer then I’ve own it . The service is very friendly on the phone , but . The work behind everything doesn’t show that they care about their customers. And Im wondering why the reviews are matching up pretty well to be known as very poor service, but , Friendly on the phone . Something needs to be done about this ! I don’t know if , the owner of this company cares and running a business should be a very important thing to do . I love G shocks ! I own a quite a few of them .. I am a fan of G Shocks , but . I have mixed feeling of be happy if there Service . When am I going to get my watch back ? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Casio SA76 44 Keys 100 Tones......I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER CASIO PRODUCT OF ANY TYPE AGAIN ... I purchased this product before Christmas 2015 for my granddaughter. Within 2 months one of the keys broke. It had a warranty. I got it back from her and got it sent in for repairs (this took a few months to do). I never heard from Casio about repairs on this item. I found the paperwork for returning it and just got off the phone from talking to the dept that handles repairs. It was decided by the technicians that the key could not be repaired and the whole unit would have to be replaced......at my cost. And they wanted to charge me double the Amazon price to replace the keyboard. So I explained to the gentleman on the phone that I considered this a manufacturing defect. I currently have a 44 key Casio keyboard with all the bells and whistle that has been in our family for 25 years. My 3 children grew up with it and 3 of my grandchildren have been using. And it still works fine. That Im tired of these companies making their products cheaper and cheaper in quality and then when something breaks that shouldnt, they dont want to fix it. I also told this gentleman that I would never purchase another Casio product of any type again. And I mean that, I am that person who will do that. Casio has found a way to cheat their customers by claiming it’s not a manufacturing defect then wanting to charge double the price that you originally paid for it to replace it. And the American people are so use to getting treated like this, they dont know any better. Well Im old enough that I do know better. Ive dealt with honest companies and seen how they treat their customers and Ive dealt with companies like what Casio has turned into. And until the American people take a stand against how companies do business concerning products and warranties, this is only going to get worst. And worst of all, this is a product made for children, but cant hold up, and thats how they get us because they know most people will just replace it for the child and go on. So America stand up for yourselves and stop buying from companies that find ways to cheat you.

Do not buy Casio products!Tech support = they will explain your user manual to you. I contacted them with a simple question about testing a component I was replacing in Exilim camera myself (warranty expired). Heres the reply I ultimately got:The technicians do have restricted access to documents on their computers. The technicians are solely hired to perform repairs. There is no outside access.And a bit earlier:We are no given any access to service manuals. We only have access to the users guide.Whats wrong with allowing access to those technical documents for a bit more tech savvy users? Are they afraid of losing business once people learn that all repair means is removing a few screws and switching out a modular part?And to Casio: Lots of people actually read these reviews and take them into consideration. Youre actually losing $ with your silly policies.

This is the only watch I have ever owned that is impossible to set by reading the online directions. Even calling tech support is not satisfying. They have trouble setting the watch as well. Casio, you will either start making your watches more user friendly or people will just stop buying your products.

Got a watch from them a while back, and solar aspect stopped working out of nowhere, stopped holding charge. Paid for a new battery, didnt fix it. Things happen. I hope theyll fix it when i bring it in for repair, at a reasonable price. I love this watch, and these reviews are a little alarming. As for what the other guy said, hes right. Everyone has a smart phone, and everyone uses google apps like this one. These reviews are the first thing people see when looking up your company, not your websites advertising. I understand people are more inclined to review with a bad experience, as opposed to a somewhat content, or good experience, so Im giving it the benefit of doubt. Going tomorrow to see what they say. Will certainly report back of how it went.

Casio man for life...probably on my 10th or so. Mainly G-Shock, but Ive had others as well. One recommendation, dont buy a watch thats analog AND digital. Had one with that combo ~30 yrs ago that went horribly wrong and bought one with that combo again ~10 yrs ago thinking (hoping) theyd figured it out by then...no such luck. I dont know if its the additional space needed inside for the digital aspects that doesnt go right or what, but Im 0/2 with a digital/analog combo.That said, Im reviewing this service center, not the company or the products. I recently had my 2nd experience with them. My G got run over. It had a metal casing and band, so when it was run over, all that broke. Sent it in, got a repair estimate of $142 OTD...bout what I expected it to be. Quickly repaired, quickly returned. But, check this out, they looked at the sizing of my old watch (which required some links removed) and sent it back to me sized correctly. I fully anticipated having to go get some links taken out again, but much to my surprise and delight, that was not necessary. AND, not part of the repair, they buffed out (or fully replaced) the crystal which had a minute scratch in it, even prior to it being run over.To say I am pleased is an understatement. Quick, on par with cost expectations, and above and beyond with the sizing and crystal buffing (or replacing). Took it out of the box, put it on my wrist, and got on down the road like nothing ever happened with a [basically] new watch.Happy happy. Thank you Dover Repair Center.

Shipped a watch back to repair a cracked display. Got the repair estimate via emai very promptly, but the cost to repair was about 30 dollars more than it would be to pick up a new watch.

Paid to have a battery replacement.. now watch is stolen due to Casio cheapness and not requesting signature upon receiving. Delivery personal for FedEx claim package delivered and leave at front door. 😱😞.. Now the fighting begin.
