The service team at Holden Dodge in Dover are always respectful, knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions or concerns I have about either my truck we bought brand new in 2005 or my brand new Jeep I bought in 2016. They cherish their customers and it shows because they treat me like family. They always provide great service to my vehicles. They even drove out to my house when I was trying to hook my jeep up to flat tow with my RV to help me make sure it was set up properly. If you want to be treated fairly and like you matter, I suggest you go to Holden Dodge in Dover on Governors Avenue for all your new or used purchases or to service any vehicle that you want to have the best service around. If they worked on RVs I would take that to them too. There is a suggestion, get an RV team for me. Thanks Guys and Gals, I truly appreciate all of you.

I took my vehicle in for 100,000 mile checkup and service. I asked them to inspect the vehicle because I am planning on an extended road trip. They identified a ball bearing issue in the front axles. If they hadnt found and corrected the problem, I probably would have been stranded along side of the road somewhere. The price was comparable to local auto repair shops, but the work was done by certified Dodge mechanics.

I am not one to post reviews frequently, but my encounter with Holden Dodge in Dover, DE was unacceptable. I bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler Sahara from this dealership last year, and the buying process was great. It wasn’t until I sent the jeep in for repair that I had issues. Jeff from the service department was very accommodating. However, when I picked up my vehicle post maintenance it smelled like absolute smoke. I disregarded the notion since we first entered the vehicle with masks. However, after removing our masks and cleaning out my car, I have discovered many items in my vehicle that do not belong to me. Some honorable mentions would be a dirty face mask and a marijuana wrapper with remanences of marijuana pieces. I am extremely disappointed in the dealership. With only 15k miles on my jeep, I have taken precautions to keep the vehicle in pristine condition. Every time I step in the vehicle, it now smell like smoke. And to have had marijuana left and smoked in my vehicle is absurd. If this dealership is allowing their employees to abuse vehicles dropped off by their owners, they need to be reevaluated by corporate. On another note, if this was due to someone breaking and entering my vehicle, the dealership needs to ensure protection of all vehicles in their possession. Again this is unacceptable, I am extremely in awe at the negligence of care at Holden Dodge in Dover, DE. From my experience, I would highly recommend to please steer away from this dealership due to their lack of attention.

Friendly, efficient service. Was able to take my car in earlier due to a cancellation. Delivered my car to me in the time stated. Informed me of additional damage that was not visible. All to gather a satisfying service. Would use this provider again if I needed body work and would recommend them to a friend or family.

I had the most amazing experience ever at Holden Dodge. Jeff made sure I got all the help I needed. Setting my appointment was a breeze. I was able to get my Grand Caravan in within 24 hours of calling. Check in was super quick. Jeff diagnosed my vehicle and kept me updated throughout the day. Once a diagnosis was made, he promptly fixed it. I am definitely switching over to Holden for all of my future services and repairs.

This was one of the worst experience’s I’ve ever had at a dealership. Went for warranty work that wasn’t done. Battery on my 2019 was dead, took it to Holden, picked it up and the battery was still dead. To add to it, they recommended new rotors ($2000.00) and brakes ($500.00) on a car with 16k miles; still under factory warranty. I took a pic of the brake pad and it was less than 30% worn; rotors were still like new on a garage kept 2019 vehicle. Won’t deal with them again.

The worst experience with the service department. My fiance dropped off her vehicle to have it examined. They were able to find the issue and advise us the same day we dropped it off. Ran into issues with Carvana (where the vehicle was purchased). Long story short we finally got the issues with Carvana resolved and thought the hard part was over. The only thing needed was for the mechanic to speak with her warranty and send over the assessment. For the next four days I asked for an update and the response I get from them is were busy or we called but were on hold so we hung up. They would justify not holding because theyre busy and cant sit on hold all day.I spoke with the warranty company multiple times and they explained to me the actual wait time. I did everything I could to get this resolved. I told them I just need the vehicle fix, and if they cant do so then I will take the car somewhere else. Their response was you cant sir, you owe money. I owed $160, are they insinuating I cant afford $160? I received no apology, no sorry, no empathy and no patience. I had to call them every time because every time I asked for a call back, I never got one. Are we not a customer? Is this not your job to call warranty companies/insurance companies? We will never go back nor will I ever recommend the service department.

I purchased a truck online here, and was annoyed I had to deal with a sales rep, that credited her self with the sale of a truck... I should of done my own loan and jus my went to the writer and handles business. Other then that, I did not like the arrogant service member, I rebuild engines my self... so getting over on someone else sure, me no. The service refused to work on my warranty covered truck, because another dodge dealer tried to fix the truck and failed. Corporate tho seems to be super good and on top of things. I’d advise anyone, start an immediate claim with corporate if you’d dealing with any issues. Even if it’s super minor. You can always call and complete and close it. I never got a response why, only that a guy named Jason refused to accept the truck, after they accepted the truck, and wasted my day and made it difficult to travel with no vehicle.

Went in to buy a new truck. Even though sales personnel were all busy with other customers Louis Allegra and Mark Bivins made sure that I could get into and checkout the vehicles I was interested in. After a nice conversation with them decided the Jeep Gladiator was not for me.Now looking at Ram 1500. Retuned the next week and Jim Cruz was the salesman to help me. He was very thorough in understanding what I wanted and what I was willing to spend. He had a truck on the lot. A few signed papers later I was driving my new truck home. Holden Dodge Is taking care of all the details for purchase in Delaware and registration in Maryland.Fantastic experience!

I got scarred by the dealership service department staff. From January through March 2021 I spoke with the staff about the manufacturers recall for my Dodge. I was told the part to fix my truck was on order. After being told it should be received within a week or two, I was eventually told they would give me a call when they get the part. Thats after over a dozen phone calls. Two days ago, when I called Holden Dodge, the service guy my call was transferred to , said that I wasnt in their system. Wow! I surely would let that go over my head. I asked that I needed an appointment to bring the car to the dealership. I did. The recall is yet to be done but my steering decal was removed leaving behind three ugly holes. Ill advise that in future, Holden Dodge customers should keep an accurate record of their conversations with any of the service personnel.

Absolutely the worst car experience of my life. Started with them leading me to believe I was “co-signing “ for my niece, then she and I went to sign the papers and pick up the car, only the car wouldn’t start and we had to wait an hour to get a loaner car for her. Who doesn’t check a car out before a new owner drives away? Holden Dodge. The real highlight was finding out I actually was the owner of the car and not the co-signer. The arrogance of the owners son when I called to complain about their misrepresentation was beyond belief. I would gladly take public transportation over buying a car from them.

I bought a vehicle from them and they were very professional and reasonable. I wanted to make sure I didn’t roll over any money from my previous car so they paid it off when I traded it in. Also, I told them how much monthly I wanted to be paying and interest rate so they made it work to where I wanted! I paid extra for longer warranty and I would recommend everyone else to do the same! I call sometimes when I can’t figure out something with my car, they will take the time to walk me through it over the phone or they tell me to bring it on in so they can show me. They did a great job!!

Be warned, DO NOT do business with Holden Dodge. We ordered a van in January and it arrived this week with the wrong interior (acknowledged dealership error). That’s ok, mistakes happen. We agreed to consider a different vehicle via dealer trade but there is no other vehicle available with the options and color choices we wanted (we were open to different paint colors and missing options). The dealership’s resolution is for us to either accept the wrong vehicle OR they can order us another one for $900 more than the contracted price from January. No other options offered and they refuse to make it right. I asked to speak to the owner and was denied. Businesses make mistakes every day but how they address them is what defines them. Buyer beware with Holden and their pathetic excuse for ownership. They will not take responsibility and do what is right.

They worked on my Jeep and either drain my antifreeze out are left the cap loose and could of blown my motor out I had no antifreeze in my Jeep the next day didnt found out until my Jeep ran hot on the way to work. I call them and let them know what happened and of course they denied it. I told them I had a new radar put in my Jeep in December and a oil change in February so they where the last to fix something on my Jeep. That was very sad after I paid them $1200 for a 4hr job wow would advise anyone to them

The best car buying experience we ever had!! From the salesman to the finance manager to the document signing every employee was so friendly and very accommodating. We actually were at another dealership and left due to terrible customer service. I am so happy we left because we had such great customer service at Holden. All our paperwork was ready when we arrived. The Pacifica was parked up front, cleaned and had a full tank of gas. They were closing but still took all the time we needed to show us how to work the navigation, touch screen and all the van functions. Such a wonderful experience. We will definitely return when we are ready for our next vehicle.

I have taken my car serval times some of the staff are very dry but the real issue is when they do a oil change and say they do an inspection on your car they lie once I took my car for an oil change I saw that oil was dripping from somewhere and they gave it back saying everything was fine when I brought them out to show them they acted like they didn’t know well maybe they didn’t because they hadn’t checked them on Friday I took it asked them to check out my service light for the tire which they didn’t they gave the car back saying everything was fine now normal if you take your car into the shop they will call and say hey there is light on would you like us to check it out them no nothing lazy and I told them

Bad Service DepartmentI was told they were the best Ram service provider in the area. I went out of my way to go there for service and all seemed well. I called and spoke to 3 different people regarding me needs and was assured I could drop it off with no issues. A recall issue sent me to the parts counter where I then sat at the parts counter for an hour because the person in charge did not want to do their job.There was another customer that came on to complain about service work and left unsatisfied during my hour wait for a resolution.I’m self employed.I lost money today.They will not hear complaints.They do not care if you leave unsatisfied.This is my complaint.I left unsatisfied.Be careful.It’s your car.

My salesperson, Daliah, couldn’t have made the process any easier. She was patient, extremely informative, and bent over backwards to accommodate me. She quickly located the perfect Pacifica for my family and had it delivered from Virginia two days after we began looking at different models. Her knowledge of the vehicle and all of its features was astonishing. Leo, the finance associate, was also awesome. The signing process was fast and smooth, and he’s extremely personable. This was an awesome buying experience.

Outstanding staff! I bought my first pickup from them and later my daughters first new car. That was over 20 years ago. Two years ago I went back to their dealership as I was interested in going to Jeep from Toyota. I found that most of the staff was still there. That says something positive about the dealership. I even talked to the owner who remembered me from when I purchased my pickup. I cant imagine going anywhere else in the future! They arent just in the vehicle business there in the people business.

Mark was my sales associate at the Dover Delaware location! I bought a jeep which is my dream vehicle, not only did he help me get my dream vehicle he also helped me feel as comfortable as possible and explained everything for this being my first time buying a vehicle myself! I pulled up to this Dealership nervous I would be pressured to buy something I couldn’t afford or judged because I had no experience but that is not what happened! As soon as I walked in he asked me the standard questions what I’m looking for. He didn’t try to sell me anything I wasn’t interested in. We narrowed it down to 2 jeeps and he told me the pros and cons of each, didn’t try to hide anything! Once i agreed what Jeep I wanted the dealership made the process very easy after that explained everything in depth all the fine print and everything. Once I got the keys they filled her up to a full tank which I thought was awesome! I’ve only known of a dealership to do a certain amount! They also cleaned the vehicle well as well before they gave it to me. This was back in August 2019 but I Will always recommend everyone to this location!

Every time there was an issue with the insurance company they were able to talk to me about what was actually happening! Terrible service. Very rude service department. Scheduled a appointment for my Jeep and to have my warranty cover it. They said no problem we just have to call them and make sure they will cover what parts are needed. Drop it off this morning and they were very rude to my wife, while also being very unprofessional. Said that my warranty wasn’t covered. No issue, but if this would have been discussed the day before neither one of us would have wasted our time. Save your time and energy on a different Jeep dealership.

Sought this dealership out from our home in Maryland because they had the exact hybrid Pacifica limited we were looking for- no pressure, no haggling and automatically provided the best incentives for the vehicle that were available. Had a small snafu with a recall situation, but the staff were very apologetic, accommodating, friendly, and communicative. We ended up with a loaner Pacifica for a month which did give me an opportunity to get used to driving a minivan, and once the remedy for the recall was available they fixed it immediately and we came to pick up my beautiful luxury van!

After I got rear-ended, I took my car to the body shop at Holden Dodge, and let me just say it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had. They worked with me to price match OEM parts to get it covered by the insurance company, and had the car fully repaired in two days. If that wasn’t already enough, they also cleaned my car inside and out prior to me picking it up. I will be back! (Just hopefully not in the body shop lol)

I am from New York while coming from Maryland via Dover Delaware my vehicle 2010 Chrysler Town & County gave me trouble. I brought my van to Holden Dodge Chrysler. Mr. Aaron explained the problems and they fixed it same day. Great service. Kudos to entire team.
