This family owned business is the best thing that has come to Douglasville Ga in a long time. The food is fresh , the store is tidy and the selection is large. You can tell from the moment that you walk into the shop that the owners put their heart and soul into this business. The owner takes her time to ensure that her customers find everything they need all while making them feel at home. If you are looking for some African and Caribbean goodies , this is the place to go !

This location for sure is one of the most un welcoming locations I have ever attempted to visit. I say attempted as when I went to park the associate that worked here came flying out of the door telling me I could not park there that I had to park over there that these spaces were for people who were coming into her shop. Well, I tried to explain to her that I was coming to her shop and she wouldnt let me get a word in edge wise. I cant speak on anything inside as I didnt go in due to fact I couldnt even park as a customer. I refused to go inside as if she isnt going to listen to the fact I was parking there to come into her shop then she either didnt want me to go in there or if I parked and attempted she probably wouldnt listen to me anyways on what I was looking for that I know for fact had to be there. My advice is if you can get past her coming out chicken necking over where you are parking then you will have the clear to go in and see what the inside with holds. If youre like me and prefer to avoid argument because you are working to live a positive filled life, knowing you cant change people but you can change the situation, my advice is to park across the street, run over and then go in that way she cant discourage you from coming in by yelling at you not letting you talk in return to advise her that you were actually trying to be a customer! God bless her and I hope she gets that chicken neck deal under control so people dont feel unwelcomed as I did! I will never return to this location and I hope she doesnt do this to anyone else! When I have to post a review as this, which I never want to, its only to help others out there so they can either avoid or take a different approach so they wont have to go through what I did! I liked that they had a lot of things West Indian people enjoy eating. Although, I was confused about the advertisement of fried fish🤔
