I took my 1984 Fender electric guitar into the store to sell. I met Ashley and told her what I wanted for it. She quickly told me that she would not feel comfortable at the figure Id given her because she thought it was worth much more. She made some phone calls to experts, describing the guitar, and in just a few minutes we made a deal that paid me twice what I had originally asked for!I thanked her for her honesty and willingness to go the extra mile for me and I wont forget it. I would encourage anyone with a guitar to sell to go directly to Money Mizer and see Ashley!

The most professional pawn shop I have been to in the southeast. The staff was excellent. The presentation of the store was crisp. Nathan, the gentleman who helped me, was very knowledgeable about the products that i was looking for. Seldom do you find someone in a pawn shop that actually cares and helps you find what you need. As I went into money mizer today I took some silver rounds down there because I talked to a gentleman that told me that he gave spot price for silver when I got there the lady asked me what did I want for them and I told her I wanted what I was told which was spot price she proceeds to tell me they give a percentage of spot price when I told her did the gentlemen on the phone told me that he gave spot price for silver she proceeds to tell me he did not intentionally tell me that to which my rebuttal was I guess he accidentally lied I wouldnt recommend these people to know one they do not do good business this is not my first experience but it will be my last 👎👎👎

Stopped in the other day while on the way to Panama City to browse and use the bathroom. This store is very clean, well stocked with many varieties. Jason was very polite, answered all my questions and even suggested a neat place for me to check out once I crossed the state line. Dothan Money Mizer is awesome. You will not be disappointed. This is a great place to shop. Large selection of guns, jewelry, televisions, you name it. The staff is friendly and always ready to answer any questions you may have to help you in making the best purchase for your needs. Go by and see Ashley or Jim, I did and found just what I was looking for.

Nice people but just bought a GPS that dont work. Turns on and but half way down the road Im trying to find a Location and resetting the GPS and it doesnt pick up satellite at all. Only the main menu work. Sorry for a low star but the device didnt work and I had to buy another one.

EVERYBODY has rough times. Ever since me and my wife moved from Florida to Dothan money has been tight and slowly catching up. Ive bought over $1400 worth of guns, ammo and accessories. Ive had to pawn my wifes wedding ring twice because of hard times. And Ive pawned my Walther PPS around 10 times lol. Never any issues. Well last week before my check hit we hit a really hard time and needed to pawn her ring again. Ashley (Manager) blessed us and have us what we needed to complete our electric bill.And I picked the ring up the very next day. You guys/Gals are AMAZING and if I could give more then 5 starts I would! Thanks again Ashley.

Man sold a laptop to my mother, said she could bring it back in a couple of days if she had the receipt - when we did he made it very difficult. Was rude in an arrogant and smug fashion even argued and tried to insult our intelligence. These people are snakes. Asking high prices without following up on their promises. The quality of items there is less than poor. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

This store is amazing. We stopped in to stretch our legs, as we were going back to Florida and didnt really plan on spending anything. We left with some dvds because they were priced so low, and the young man working was happy to answer whatever questions we had. Were not sure of his name..he didnt have a name tag on, but he was tall, blonde, was wearing a money mizer button on his shirt. He said he was fairly new, but he knew his way around the register. Before we left, he made sure to enter us into a gift certificate drawing that we were completely unaware of. If you like great deals, stop at money mizer of dothan and check out their inventory!!

I went in a few weeks back. I live in Panama City and have been looking for a new t.v.. Our local Money Mizer hasnt had what Im looking for. I had to run to Dothan for an appointment. I stopped by this Money Mizer. I was greeted when I walked in and then Ashley showed me a few t.v.s and her and a coworker hooked it up, made sure it worked right and with their help my boys and I got a new tv for our house. This place does some bad business needed help went to them and payed a lot of money in interestThen sold items I know it’s a pawn shop but you would think they would want to help people more that do try to do the right thing and yes I do have records of all the money I paid them.

I took some old gold i had to pawn .They gave me forty dollars more thantheir competitor offered.I felt like they were more than fair to me.
