I just got this glorious banana pudding cake friday to have for my birthday this year. Its absolutely phenomenal! Never did I dream that such a cake could exist! In fact every slice of cake Ive gotten from there has been on point. I also enjoyed the brownies. I highly recommend trying them for a cheat day or anytime!

The establishment was very clean and customer service was great. I was greeted with smiles and good vibes. They have a large selection of cakes and desserts to choose from. Everything was fresh. Out the few things that i ordered, my favorite was the strawberry delight. The others were a little too sweet for me. Nonetheless would be recommend and will be returning.

Listen I LOVE this place prior to us moving here we stopped here on a visit and I have been going every since .In the past 4 months of living in this area every time someone come to visit I must purchase desserts for them to experience the taste of Jolando’s . My grandmother she doesn’t approve many places but she gave me the thumbs up about them and have told other family members in Spanish Fort Al about them as well . As to the customer service everyone is always so friendly , the shop is always clean and presentable . Let’s just say I love it there …If you in the Dothan area definitely give it a try .

When I finally heard about this place, I happily took myself and my sweet tooth over there. I ordered like 6 different pieces of cake because I wanted to take some to my family also. My dad loved the Key Lime, but me??? Mind you, I dont like fruit filling AT ALL. But something told me to try that blueberry crunch delight and Good Lord Almighty. BEST thing EVER! Love this place! When my son and I first visited Desserts by Jolando, his mother gave us information about the cakes and who own it. I was very impressed because it was own by a young African American who was a school teacher. My son and I started trying to go at least every two weeks. I then told my husband we found a spot that he had to try. My husband and I stopped by and we talked to his mother and another gentleman for hours. The cakes they had were awesome. The conversation was inviting and friendly. This a great place for good old friendly conversation and dessert at the same time.

Where do I start? Entering the building, I noticed it was extremely clean and organized. I got to the counter and was overwhelmed... I literally wanted to try everything single thing because everything looked absolutely incredible. 😁😁I finally settled on a few items I had to have... and let me tell you... God himself had to speak those recipes directly to Jolando.Everything was moist, incredible, made with the love of God, and filled with the holy spirit. 🙌🏾🙌🏾Customer service was absolutely exceptional and I also signed up for the rewards program while I was there... because lets face it... i knew I was coming back. Nonetheless, my only complaint is that they arent opened 24/7 🤣🤣Hey, but dont take my word for it... pull up for yourself.

Everything is delicious! You can’t go wrong! The atmosphere is amazing. You walk in and immediately smell freshly baked goods and are welcomed by a warm greeting. You feel like you are visiting a family member. The banana pudding cake and banana pudding delight are two of my favorites! 😊

Great little dessert place. I love how he has slices of cake for sale, so I can sample different ones. Portions are huge. Jolando always greets you with a smile when you walk in and is very helpful with suggestions. I check his posts daily to see what new treats he has planned for the week. Everything I have tasted so far has been spot on! Also loves how he gives back to his community.

The red velvet cake was so delicious. It was not dry. It was definitely homemade. The kids and my husband had the Oreo dessert and strawberry shortcake and they said it was awesome. I will be back especially for the red velvet cake. It’s my favorite kind of cake. The customer service was great. They make you feel at home.

The customer service is excellent and the there are so many desserts to chose from. My husband and I have tried a variety of his cakes and we havent found one yet that we didnt like.The cakes are always fresh and so worth the trip. The cake that really got my husband hooked was the Lane cake he makes. Wow!!! My husband drives from Atlanta to Alabama when I’m in the mood for great tasting southern sweets. And of course he makes it hard for me to pinpoint my favorite. The key lime cake is AMAZING! But so is the strawberry... and the red velvet. See what I mean?? You will NOT be disappointed by the warm environment and the tasty treats. Don’t hurt yourself in there!

I love supporting black owned businesses. Unfortunately I will not visit this one again. The owner was rude and did not want to interact with us not only that I wanted to ask him a few questions and he wouldnt even come out of the back. Im a business owner as well and I treat ever customer the same and Love greeting them with a smile not a frown.

The only complaint I have is the posting of pictures of all those fabulous cakes. Dear Lord how are we supposed to watch our weight when we are drooling over those pictures.Ive tried 4 different cakes and had bites of my husbands choices and every one has been delicious.My husband even likes going to the Bakery for me because the owner is so nice. Thats a double plus.Cant wait to try the banana pudding cake, it is always sold out before we can get there.😪

Discovered this locally owned shop almost a year ago and I haven’t baked anything at home since! My kids and I each have our own personal favorites (Italian Cream, Cinnabon Cake, Oreo Delight) but we are always excited to try something new like the Rocky Road Cake or the Orange Creamsicle. I couldnt wait until Jolandos opened and when he did he did not disappoint. We travel quite a distance to Dothan to purchase these delectable desserts that fondly remind us of desserts baked the wonderful old fashioned way by grandma with rich, creamy butter and fresh ingredients. The only problem we have is making a selection so we end up purchasing 3-4 slices of cake at a time to sample and share. I love the pound cakes, key-lime desserts, anything with chocolate and those desserts with coconut and pineapple. Actually theres not one I dont love. You must visit. One trip will satisfy your sweet tooth but will always have you craving for more.
