Stocked completely full, but very organized, this is an amazing place to go for a great selection of new and used books, gifts, and collectibles. I was impressed by the selection and managed to find used copies (for a great price!) of many of the newer NA books Ive been dying to read. I was very impressed and will be back!

This is my favorite bookstore in Dothan. I went in a while back looking for a specific title from one of my favorite new authors and there was a signed copy in the store. The store associate was just as excited as I was when she saw it in their inventory and helped me find it. I read a lot so I also sell back books I’ve read for store credit. They have a lot of other stuff besides books too (like collectibles, comics, video games, toys, etc) so it’s even fun for my husband and our kids when I have to make a stop there for new books. :)

Ive been in about 6/7 2&C stores across the US and this is thankfully, one of the better ones. Nice employees, good selection of movies/TV shows. Usually clean and well stocked. Water in bathroom is a but rusty and has a weird smell but oh, well. Im there for books, not bathroom time.Im sad that the graphic novel selection keeps getting smaller and smaller. And half if what is there is new full priced stuff.Max, the gentleman that works the books is amazing and I love him. Best 2&C employee that I have interacted with.

Waited forever before finding an employee to help us with something in the case. That employee wasnt mean but, you knew he didnt want to be there. On the other hand, the cashier upfront was very vibrant/bubbley, kind & helpful. *Not sure of their names though.

Came to the register with two 50¢ comics off of the 50¢ or less clearance section. Apparently, one of the stickers fell off. He tried to charge us full price and then when we brought it to his attention, he said to the manager They want it for 50 cents but its not marked down. All details of the situation should have been related to the manager when he arrived instead of making it seem like we were attempting anything malicious. We wanted it for 50 cents because the price of the comic is 50 cents. There was a label on it that priced the comic at 50 cents. And again, the comic was in the Clearance Section that was brightly labeled in red and white $0.50 or less Clear-out Sale. I ended up having to walk to the section, and pull out all of the copies of the comic I picked that were all labeled with the same bright orange 50¢ sticker to prove that we were telling the truth.

Loved it! Wish I could have spent more time and money there lol.

GREAT Store sometimes good deals and sometimes great deals. Today the great buys were in the buy one book get second one free.

Love the old book smell and the tons of nerd stuff for my self and my kiddo to enjoy.

2nd & Charles retail department store is getting more and more interesting and appealing to my liking. First example, 2nd and Charles books are being more organized than previous months I shopped there. Funko Pops Figures are better organized now. The inscents section is neatly seat up and organized. Plus, 2nd and Charles incense cost five dollars and ninety-nine cents ($5.99) for a fifty (50) inscents.

Dont bother bringing your dvds or old games here, I certain Jasmine didnt feel like doing her job so she turned down nearly 100 almost new dvds and ps2 and Xbox 360 games. Claimed there was an odor, yet they have none. And some of them came from the same second and charles to begin with. Just laziness and it cost them both my business and those of my family and friends. GOOD JOB Jasmine

Max the manager was awesome. Very customer service oriented. Very clean and well organized. Bought over $300 worth of books for $60. Cant wait to go back!

I love going to this store. I wish I went more often, but due to where it is located, I often avoid that area due to traffic. The employees are always helpful and this summer a very helpful employee overheard my conversation with my mother-in-law about buying books for my classroom. That employee told me that teachers get 20% off in the store. I appreciate that they are one of the few stores that offer teacher discounts. I am also a huge fan of their records section. I almost never leave without buying a record.

To all of my nerd friends and family, I have failed you. I did not know about this place, nor had any knowledge of its existence. I am however proud to say that has now changed. I love this place. I could spend 3 full days in here looking at everything and only cover half of the store. To me this was a comic book heaven. Not to say that this is all they have by NO means, because that is not accurate. But in my first trip to this amazing new discovery, I didnt make it past the first 100 ft of the store before being drawn to the extensive comic book section. I spent at least 40 mins before my wife had to pull me out. And then walking to the register, she had to hold my arm to keep me focused. Now that I know of 2nd & Charles, it will be a must visit ever time we are in Dothan. Thanks to the friendly staff, looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Nice bookstore, staff was very helpful! Only reason for 4 stars is the kids section shelves were a bit messy, making it hard to find things.

Virginia is the best. She looked the two books up, showed me where to look and had me out the door in less that 10 mins. (Had to get to work.) She is a gem.

They have an 😎 awesome anime and manga selection that my daughter loves and tons of games to choose from for my husband. They are our go to for buying, selling or trading of any games, books, consoles, etc. Everyone if friendly and knows where to look if we cant find it. Always #1 favorite game store.

Awesome bookstore. I found the first book in a series that I wanted. So many things to look at. Really like the fact that the authors are up abetta clean on the shelves.

They have some of the best board games, card games and even old video games from the 80s & 90s. A wide selection of books, comics, movie and TV memorabilia is also carried and definitely check out their socks! Theres something for everyone!

Interesting store in Dothan Al. Good selection of guitars and vinyl. Some of the used prices are a little high in my opinion. Definitely will be back though.

Absolutely dont go to this book storeThey are very rude the buy back section.The Skinner guy with the grey hair yeah hes the worst. The guy with the long hair he was rude too just not as much. They wouldnt even take my temporary ID.

Video games, consoles, and accesories from Ataris to ps4s, xbox ones, and handheld consoles. Pop culture t-shirts, socks and mugs, even a couple guitars.

Lots of good stuff and prices

Be aware: Prices are higher than target, eBay, or other retailers. However, its a fun place and worth a trip to see oddities you may not search for on Amazon or see in Target.The staff is focused on their duties and not pesky in anyway.Also, they are green so apparently this means you wont get a bag.

Excellent bookstore and random stuff store. They have a lot of video game consoles and other neat old vintage things. They have a good record selection.Large book selection, which is what I usually go for. I prefer the one in Gainesville, but this one is pretty much the same.Pretty much everything is reasonably priced, and the building is clean aside from some aging restrooms.No gender neutral bathrooms.

They have the coolest stuff here. This place is the perfect stop if you are looking for gifts at the last minute. There are tons of random novelties and knick-knacks for pure entertainment. There are books and movies that line the store. Some of the stuff is used, but in wonderful condition, and some of the stuff is new. I would definitely recommend this place. It is worth the look.

2nd & Charles is always good. A great selection of used books that are perfect for my classroom library. The 20% teacher discount with proof of being a teacher has saved me well over $200 over the past year or so. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and I love the wide variety of pop culture items they have as well.

They have a used book sale normally that is stellar. Buy 5 and get 5 free. Most of them are in the 3 dollar range too and in good condition. Im not so amazed at the selling process here, they dont pay much for your stuff, but purchasing used here is fantastic. They also have a full assortment of D&D/Warhammer stuff which is rare for our area and an EXTREMELY impressive board game stock.
