I received help the minute I walked in. Super employees and well stocked. Found most of what I needed right away.

This JOANNs doesnt have as much selection as others I have been to. It was clean and the lady workers were friendly. They have supplies for arts and crafts but their main niche is sewing.

I bought fabric and when washed shrunk 2. I called the store and told them I had cut it and was told to bring it in. When I got to store they refused to do anything about it. The sales receipt clearly says You can return any Joann purchase at anytime with no hassle. This is a false statement. I have in the past returned fabric squares that had been cut and washed because they shrunk. This may have been a good store at one time but more.

Love the staff always helpful mom comes all the way from p cola to shop here with me we love the staff. And Mr.Lee is a very helpful manager.

Very clean, well organized. Customer service is great. Always willing to help. Just wish they had a better selection of yarn.

The last 3 times I went to Joanns I put everything back because the employees are so rude the Panama city fl store and Dothan Al store. I will never shop there again.

BEWARE!! So about 3 days ago I purchased a 10 by 12 cricut easy press and it didn’t work well for me so I tried taking it back, and exchanging it for something else. Well when I took it back they told me that they’re was going to be a $25 fee for bringing it back. So instead of me getting the full amount of $216.91 I only got back $189.66 so on all big purchases I would not recommend going here for any big purchases. Go to Walmart instead because they truly stand behind there policy. I say that because Joanns has a no hassle policy on the back of their receipt stating that you get the full amount back if your not please with their product

This store is always clean and well keep. The staff here is just a pleasure to work with. We visit this store almost everytime we go to Dothan.

The staff here are so sweet and helpful. They offer curbside pickup and online ordering where you can pickup up in store, which is convenient and helps saves you on shipping costs. They have regular sales that can help you save a lot of money. Sign up for their email alerts to be able to watch out for when they have their bogo sales or check their website often. Its really beneficial to your wallet. They also have a clearance/sale corner that is worth checking out. The store is always clean and well stocked. I highly recommend shopping here for your craft needs. Happy shopping!

Upon entering we were greeted with a very friendly hello. To both of the ladies that were working thank you for your service to helping us the cashier and the lady that was cutting the fabric. We are very impressed because we had come from Panama city, Florida to get some fabric that our Joans was out of stock. Again another great team at Joans Fabrics.

We need a bigger store it doesnt have most of what we are looking for. A lot are complaining about it to the employees that its NOT A GOOD area at the MALL.Employees are really nice though.

Great place to shop. The cleanest retail store I have ever seen. The product is well displayed and organized. The staff there are the best, helpful and polite. They will go above and beyond to get you what your looking for even if it has to be ordered and they don’t charge for shipping. I can’t say enough about this store and it’s staff. They treat me like family and welcome me in by my name. The store manager went as far as calling 4 other stores to locate the fabric I needed and had it in the store in just 2 days. Can’t go wrong shopping there.

Those who know me, know I am an avid crafter. I have an autoimmune disease that won’t allow me to work so crafting and reading are almost all that I have. I mostly shop at night when my friends and family can take me and have to say the staff at night have always been helpful and very nice. I was in town today and decided to stop by and talk about a difference between night and day. The manager on duty was very rude and was talking about people out loud. My mask accidentally slid off my left ear and he was quick to run up front and grab the phone and make an announcement. I had it back on before he made it halfway there. I was so embarrassed I wanted to cry. Because of his attitude, the way he was talking about everyone and just the feelings I had while I was in the store I will never be back day or night. The lady of front was following me around like I was trying to steal something which I have never done. I’m just a misplaced person with a disability and get confused sometimes. I’d like to thank these two for making one of the few pleasures I have in life a miserable experience today. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone ever again.

Watched 2 employees physically block a pregnant woman from entering the store without a mask. She was cordial, explaining her difficulty breathing, while the employees lied to her saying it was an Alabama law, even after the Mandate was lifted. I will stick to Hobby Lobby, and for the grain of salt that its worth, will never set foot in another Joann Fabrics after watching that endeavor.

This is more of a mini joanns. Very limited stock and supplies of common craft items. Selection was limited. Rather just go to the other joanns.

Nice store but not as big as others I have been in so it can be limited on variety.

I was disappointed they didnt carry the doll eyes my wife wanted but we found buttons that did the job.

Even though 1 star is too high..that was my only option... very rude employees...after being asked to leave for not wearing a mask even though there was only one other person in it and calling to talk to a manager and being hung up on...I give this storys employees negative marks. I have traveled all over the mid west and east coast and havent ever been asked to wear a mask on a joanns...I will be calling corporate on Monday...UPDATE...just left Michaels...they did not require me to wear a mask and they got my money..UPDATE... Hobby Lobby has the money I was going to give you also..

This being one of the only fabric stores in town, you’d think the customer service would be better. Employees NEVER want to help. They always act aggravated by me being there. They act like they hate cutting fabric. They for sure hate answering my questions.I called, granted it was before opening - but it was about an order I submitted and got notified about being ready already. They wouldn’t even listen to my question without interrupting me and telling me to call back during store hours.If you utilize curbside pick up, they act like it’s an inconvenience to bring it out to you. It’s suppose to be a service to the customers; just smile and do your job? Or put on a mask to hide your disdain.I’m so disappointed by the quality of customer service I receive here, but unfortunately I’ll just keep enduring it because I need fabric and thread. 😒

I would give the manager of the store a negative 5 stars if I could! I have shopped at this place a number of times and every time I was there, he was short, rude and demeaning! I would avoid this place if at all possible!! I went to hobby lobby today and everyone was super nice and helpful and patient with me. Hobby lobby has most everything this store has. DON’T shop at Joannes, terrible customer service from the manger!!!!

Fabrics, fabrics, hard to find in Dothan. Sewing must not be big here in the South. Found some items marked down and checkout discounted them even more, double FUN. My favorite fabric store around here.

I always enjoy shopping here. The staff is always delightful to interact with! This particular trip I needed a very small amount of fabric and was worried they wouldnt be able to get the sizes I needed; however they were very happy to oblige to my odd requests and did so with genuine smiles on their faces and in a very timely and professional manner. I walked out feeling like a happy animal satisfied with the the labors of her hunt! I know thats dumb lol #notsorry

Store Manager talking on sales floor, making fun of a customers question regarding glue.I also had an issue in the store and left my purchase behind. Customer service is extremely lacking from the management standpoint.

They dont have anything the store is so small and everything is so close together! They only half a shelf of Wilton products really they should close down! The Montgomery store is the best they have everything and its way bigger and they always have some kind of sale going on!

The store is very small so they have to find places to put stock... which means sometimes you really have to look for what you want. But the workers are always more than willing to help you find what you are looking for and they are always friendly.

Needed help picking out material for a quilt. I had an idea if what I wanted to do but have not made many guilts. The gentleman that helped me St the store in Dothan did in excellent job of picking fabrics that were perfect. When I got home these fabrics also matched well to what I already had. The store clerk that checked me out shared each savings that I received that day, was very professional and friendly. I will visit this store again!
