If you love getting service at well below the bare minimum, than this is the Walgreens for you. I understand companies have lots of customers and wait times can be long when trying to get in touch on the phone, but is hanging up on people 3 times after waiting a total of 45 minutes really necessary? Like just tell me no one is going to be able to speak with me rather than me having to keep calling back after being consistently hung up on. Garbage service

Have been trying to get prescriptions transferred from another pharmacy for 3 weeks. Made several trips and calls to the pharmacy and have not received any follow-ups. Received misinformation on several occasions. Was told through a chat to use the online system to transfer prescriptions but the Walgreens online system does not communicate directly with the pharmacy so therefore its a complete waste of time inputting information to be processed.

They need to fix that website because this Walgreens is not temporarily closed they are just so slow to fill a prescription 2 hours to fill a prescription when you come in and when they first open

I got an email from Walgreens saying there was an error with filling my prescription and that I needed to call the pharmacy. I was on hold for 35 minutes and then hung up on. They would pick up the phone just to put me on hold again without saying anything. I understand that they may be understaffed, but I feel that this is unacceptable - I have never been hung up on by a pharmacy.

Most of the time the experience is really great here. Today it was terrible. Some of the women behind the counter of the photo lab do not like their jobs. One associate even said it out loud. Even worse is the way that they speak to customers. An associate asked a man dropping off a Fedex package, what did he want? We are not your cousins, aunties or children. Please have a professional tone when you speak to us. The woman who helped me was nice, she was under the same mindset at first but quickly corrected herself and apologized. There there were 1-3 other associates who were also apart of this scene.

Just spent 2 hours and 10 minutes on hold trying to speak with someone in the pharmacy with my call dropped multiple times. Then the pharmacy closed.

Prepare to be disappointed by the pharmacy.

Horrible service for covid-19 vaccine. Make sure to print out your appointment booking otherwise they won’t let you in. No matter if you have a confirmation code or not! Very unprofessional and didn’t even try helping or calling the insurance company!!

I always order my prescriptions online and pick them up here. Theyre easy to talk to on the phone, and they actually get my prescription right. There are sometimes long lines, so I definitely recommend ordering online first.

If you’re a girl the “guard” will follow you through the store if you’re looking at makeup, deodorant or tampons

Went in at 1pm for prescriptions. From 1:30-2 they close for a meal break which is understandable but no one called my name over the intercom and even let me know what was going on as i was sitting there waiting. Come back from an aisle and the whole pharmacy is shut down but then i get a text saying my script is done at 1:51pm. How is it done if you guys are on lunch? That means it was ready beforehand. So now im stuck waiting over an hour for scripts when I have pneumonia.. Must be nice to eat when i cant even swallow anything. Ill be taking my services to Walgreens on 13 and Groesbeck from now on.

The staff here has always been friendly and counterous I have encountered no issues with them- but this Walgreens is so poorly stocked. They do not carry higher end brands of nail polish or beauty products. I would say about 1/3 of the times I have come here I have not found what I came for. Unlike most Walgreens they don’t sell wine or beer.

Service is good when customer volume is low. Staffing seems inadequate in the pharmacy during high volume times. An easy fix if management wants to address the problem. That is the only problem I have experienced.

On top of having the worst pharmacy hours, (9-7 on weekdays, really?) they are understaffed and unprofessional. Got there quarter to 9, there’s a line of people at the counter waiting. The pharmacy tech strolls in with her McDonald’s bag 5 minutes late and takes her sweet time opening the place. What are you supposed to do, take off work just to pick up a prescription? Ridiculous

Ive been waiting 8 days now for this pharmacy to refill a prescription because theyre out of my medication . I was told they receive shipments of medications on Tuesdays...well, two Tuesdays have passed and I still havent gotten the medication that I am supposed to take every day. I asked for a partial refill, they say they cant do partial refills, even though Ive had them fulfilled at different Walgreens locations. Every refill Ive ever called in here takes several days to be filled, and I only go to this location because its very close to where I live. Will not be returning to this Walgreens again.

I accidentally left my medication in another state. I wont be going back until this weekend. The Walgreens store on Courthouse in Chester, VA is the store that routinely handles my prescriptions and I am more than pleased with the service. I have called the telephone number listed on the stores website for this store - on Jefferson Ave - a number of times today to see if I might get an emergency order of an active prescription until Wednesday. The phone rang and rang and after about 4-5 minutes each time, a busy signal came on! No one even bothered to answer the phone to ask if I would hold. I called this same number last night when I arrived in Michigan and there was a message saying the store was closed -so I know the number was right.If you are busy, couldnt you just answer the phone and let persons who call realize that you might understand they are not just calling to chat? Thank you for no service!

Poor customer service, my friend came to get an extension cord, cashier said the did not have them and refused to let her in because they close in five minutes. I sent her there because I had purchased one previously.

Customer service was horrible. I had the pharmacy staff lie to me on more than one occasion. I hardly ever complain, much less write a review, but I have been brought almost to tears by my frustration with these people. Ive had one prescription filled there but will never return, honestly I may never walk into another Walgreens because of my horrible experience here.
