I wish I was able to give this place 0 stars… I wish I would have read the reviews before my husband took our truck in. Not sure why they decided, not only to make the issue much worse but also use different color wires to confuse the next mechanic. Over $1400 spent for what?? So we can jump the truck every time we have try to go somewhere? If you value your money please do not take your vehicle to this place. There are honest mechanics out there.

They told me my frame was crack and would fix it for $7500. I took it to another shop they said my frame is not cracked. Theyre a total rip off

Fixed my car. Havent had any problems since.

My tire sensor said my pressure is low after I filled it up. So I thought I had a leak. I brought into them full expecting to pay for a patch, plug, or possibly even a new tire. They could have said I needed one of the above, but they were honest. They took their time to test the tire and told me the sensor was just bad, the tire had no leaks, and they didn’t charge me. I really appreciate them.

Ran over a nail yesterday on my way taking my son some where, by the time I got here my tire was completely without air. They replaced it with a reasonable priced tire. Been coming here since May of this year with major car repairs and havent had any problems with my car afterwards. Lets you know what needs to be done before agreeing to starting the job. Good hospitality and service so far, keep it up and Ill surely keep coming back

If I could rate this 0 I would. Do NOT take your vehicle here, there workers steals from the car and the manager lied and does nothing about it. I came back to get some items out my vehicle to find my things scatter through misplaced and a door knob lock set I spent my money on gone. Place is full of stealers.

I took my car there faithfully for two years. Last October I took my car there for a $1200 job. Not even 6 months later I was having the exact same issue they supposedly fixed back in October. My car sat in their parking lost for almost two months without being fixed. Poor communication & too many broken promises of when my car would be fixed later I finally took my car to professionals & they diagnosed it with the issue I’d already paid $1200 to be fixed only to find out back in October I was charged for brand parts by this shop only to have used parts placed on my car & it went bad in less than 6 months. I will no longer do business here nor would I recommend it for anyone else.

My wife and I spent 2300 for front and rear suspension repair. Our car is more dangerous to drive now than it was before we brought it there. Plus they promised to have it done at a certain time which turned into two extra days. Don’t take your vehicle there!

Opened an account in my name without my permission. called to have it cancelled and they opened it again. This place is horrible unprofessional and rude. I will be filing suit against them. I would not recommend this place if they work for free. Oh did I mentioned I never had my vehicle serviced there.

The manager is EXTREMELY rude. Yelled at my multiple time as well as insulted my intelligence by calling me a liar and telling me different things on the phone but when we talk again it’s a complete different story. I feel completely disrespected and felt i had to raise my voice in order to defend myself and be hear! My feelings are hurt and i feel humiliated. I appreciate the job they did to my car but the experience is the WORST I’ve ever been through! I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming to this shop unless you wanna feel belittled and be scorned. I am a college graduate with a degree in Business i also happen to own a business myself NEVER AND I MEAN EVER!!!! I would not recommend this business and i will also be contacting the BBB.

I wish I could give no stars! I was charged $1200 for work that I didn’t need and it was financed. I then was told that I needed a transmission and they wanted to give me a $500 discount but I still had to pay $1500. $3700 when all I needed was a transmission! This place is a joke don’t waste your time!

Work seems to be completed at a reasonable price BUT they mostly take several days more to complete it than they initially suggest.When calling they do not answer or say hold a minute and never pick up the call.I had a timing belt problem and as the motor had 230,000 miles, they suggested they replace it with a second hand motor with 30,000. This took a week longer than expected - I had to send it back as it sounded like an old bomb when I first picked it up.Im still trying to get some sort of paperwork off them for the replacement motor. At this stage I have little faith they did actually change the motor - Ive be trying for a month to get this paperwork off them and still trying...

Got my engine and transmission done was a great place to get your car fix when KC was here now this mike guy he is a piece of work came in to day at 1:52 PM for my oil change that they have to do after the 30days I just now got done its 4:50pm. People have came in after me and he got them out so I ask where is my car i am just getting a oil change he till me its only one guy that does the oil change but the man he was talking about he was just walking around and he was also suppose to charge my AC because they didnt do it when they did my engine he dont tell me that he did not do it after I go back in he says no he didnt do it he have to get someone out to look at his machine then tell me it was something wrong with my car after he tells me its his machine come on now will not be back to this place have been here so many times before now I have to fine me another shop to go to

Came in for a wheel alignment and was told I need $2400 worth of work and took it to Unique Auto and i did not need all the work they said. I was getting scam by Detroit Tire on a 2017 with less the 25,000 miles on my car. I am so happy i went some where else.

I purchased 4 new tires and 4 refurbished rims. Not even a week ago. I hear something rattling in my tire. When they put my new rims on one of them they didnt put the sensor band instead they black taped the sensor on tire which has caused me to buy a new band and the sensor because the sensor got messed up from rolling around loose inside tire. And didnt balance my tires. I am filing a complaint with BBB and the State about this matter. Rosemary McIntosh

I took my 2010 Nissan Sentra there due to a flyer in my mail box. I needed my engine replaced. Jay helped me with everything. They work hard to maintain a good reputation. They did a good job on the repair. I am satisfied. And will recommend to others they treated me fair and did a good job on my Nissan.

Detroit Auto and Tire saved me and my friends life. I hit a pothole and busted my tire at 8am and they fixed it with NO problem or no hassle at all. Very friendly and professional. I definitely reccommend this tire shop to anybody. Prices was also very affordable.

I went in for an oil change and to add power steering fluid. They told me I needed 2400.00 worth of work I left a 1200.00 deposit down and went home my vehicle did seem as bad as they made it out to be so I called and cancelled the service and was told my money would be back in my account in 2 days this was 4/13/20. and here we are today no money returned to my accout a whole lot of run around. and to top it all off they wont connect me to the owner of this place so frustrated I dont know if I should contact Fox 2 the news or the police. Oh what he told me the police wouldnt do anthing because it is a civil matter.

Price inflation... this store claim to be Firestone but lack the real prices The Original Firestone charge. Make sure you do some price comparison before you visit this store. I visited this store while visiting my mom in the neighborhood. I needed a tire plugged and put back on. This store although in the city charge $5-6 bucks more than the suburbs. Robbing the older folk that live in the area who are not computer savvy. I asked why his prices were higher than other Firestone stores and he blatantly told me he has to eat too. Manager was very arrogant and rude. It would pay and save to visit the real Firestone store,ijs

I think it was so wrong of them to charge me over $2,00 for work on my truck to find out my rear frame was broken and my truck is no good they knew/saw that but still did the work knowing my truck was no good wish i could sue them.

Went in to get a tire patched on a rainy day and they stole one of my tires and replaced it with a beat up tire! Also changed out my center caps. Oh, don’t think it’s over. I have top cops on my side! I’ll be back! Oh and they told me I need $500 worth of other work! I don’t think so!! Got another opinion and they said it doesn’t cost that much!

Good fair people

First I would like to start off by saying Kamal is a TRUE LIFESAVER! My charger overheated on Wednesday on my way to work, and with very little to no money due to my daughters birthday being the following Friday. Kamal referred me to a financial program that allowed me to only have to pay $40 to repair my car, and the rest comes out of my checking account! I was so amazed and thankful, they provided towing at NO CHARGE and I never even had to go there until after all my repairs were completed, which was all done THE SAME DAY ! .. These guys and SUE are so kind, professional and fast! . Definitely a go no need to second guess. Thanks again guys!

I have been waiting on there told truck all day. I really understand that its bad today but Joe could have inform me that its going to be a waited a very long waited. I call this man like every hour and half then he say to me its along waited it 2pm now I started @10am. Which he could have said in the beginning like this morning. My car is a mile from the place damn. When I got my car up there Joe apologize and My car is running excellent so with that being said I satisfied 100 precent.

I recently had repairs done to my 95 BMW 318ti. I was informed that my rack and pinion needed replacement because of difficult steering. They replaced my rack and pinion. Then my lines/hoses sprung a leak because they were bad before the replacement. Now I might not be a mechanic I believe I should have been informed of the bad lines/hoses before the replacement. The new rack and pinion now has to much pressure for the lines and hoses. You dont change brake pads while the rotors are warped you inform the customer(s) of such a problem beforehand. So now I have a much larger issue than before. Possible rack and pinion failure on the replacement. They claim since this happened they would only charge me for the parts. If I was told beforehand I would have waited until another day. I believe wholeheartedly that they just want my 500 plus dollars lines and hoses etc should be inspected before any repairs barring further damage losses and complications ... now Im up the creek without a paddle. Now they want 250 more.

This place is terrible and owned by the same people who owns livernois Goodyear! Mark has been getting over on people for years. They tell you that each establishment is owned by someone different but all they do is switch the name into somebody elses name thats either related to them or that they are close to. I would not recommend visiting this establishment nor livernois Goodyear EVER!

Best service in town.. Got me in and out even when they were extremely busy the lot was so full there was no where to park . they helped me in my time of need wen i hit a pothole and blew my tire i was late for work . Kamal is the guy to see for anything u need im going to return this weekend for all the recommended safety issues with my car .

The shop is horrible, I had brand new tires put on my vehicle back in December of 2018, and the front tires are bald now.I took my vehicle to their shop yesterday and was told that my front end was bad. They said nothing about it being bad when I had the tires replaced. The owner told me that the tires were not under warrantyI took my vehicle to another shop today and was informed that the k frame needed to be replaced along with other front end items. I was also informed that the tires should not have been replaced before the front end work was done, because the k frame was rusted out.They were not concerned about my safety, the owner and manager is all about MONEY. I strongly advised everyone that I know not to do business with Detroit Tire because they are a rip off, and have no integrity!

The manager of this site ,mr. Kamal appears very customer service friendly, and knowledgeable of services requirements to complete a task !.However he do have a blindside ie indicated by damage to the top of vehicle. As part of his commitment to complete the process in order that was not done.The whole top is busted.my car was drop off on 8/9/2019 pick up 08/30/2019. I went 3 blocks 2 get the car wash,thats when i discover the damage to the top.I then return 2 firestone service shop.Mr.kamal was with other customers so i waited.while waiting i notice a number of male men bunching up near me it was around 8 to 9 of them. Mr. Kamal came out i showed him the damage to the top of the vehicle ,. HIS responded it was like that when it came in.,I was very low profile. Mr.Kama stated he would review the video. So i tooked the car home,on the way i head bumping coming form under the hood.looked under hood saw radiator rocking back an forward. Took it back that Tuesday, because Monday was a holiday. Mr. Kamal looked an said bring it back the next day.then one of the people form that group on the 30 th indicating it was like that when u bought it in.This is trouble an is a person to stay a way form.I pay my note on time,an always will.But i have yet to enjoy my car.Another thing look like they put the motor on the seats in the car oil is all over them an canot be remove it raining inside the car. So much happen,windshield crack.So much has happened to car.I required the warranty agent to come an review this was told it between me an the repair shop.I then contact Credit Acceptance a nice lady answered the phone listing to my concern again informing, it between u an service shop..So sit back, looking at my little car.made up in ny mind ,ie I AM GOING TO STAY IN GOOD STANDARD WITH CREDIT ACCEPTANCE.ALSO THE CAR REMIND ME OF SELF .We been though a few things but (ie )still roling.I will pay my bill ,if any concern agency like too come out an take pictures, please do.I DONT KNOW IF THIS WAS DONE BECAUSE OF AGE OR RACE, U MUST COME C THIS.
