Dont go here for a Covid shot, nor the farmacy. I made an appointment for 3:40 but there was only one giant line for people getting prescription and for vaccines. I was there early and waited over 40 minutes to finally get to the front because most people were there for prescriptions.Worst part was, as soon as I got to the front of the line the nurse giving out the vaccines announces shes taking a 30 minute break. I understand that people need their breaks... but this lady was doing nothing for the majority of the 40 minutes I was waiting. Another lady waiting behind me went to talk to the nurse about the wait but she didnt care and just blew her off and said she was leaving. I decided I wasnt going to wait longer and just left, what a waste of time.There is no point in making appointments if there is no system to check in. It would have taken 5 minutes to check-in everyone who was there for vaccines but the nurse in charge apparently didnt want to work. Im sure she wont hesitate to pick up her paycheck though. It doesnt take a brain surgeon to come up with a better system, just avoid this place.

I moved here 6 weeks ago and couldnt figure out why Walgreens here had such a low rating. Got to the pharmacy 20 minutes after their scheduled lunch, they were still closed. Had to wait 10 minutes for them to open.I got a text saying my prescriptions were ready, they werent, they were at a different store. Today I arrived 15 minutes before their scheduled lunch, they were already closed.The manager is full of excuses, not solutions.Scheduled lunch breaks with posted hours on Google are for customer convenience.They should not be taking lunch when they feel like it.Ill pick up my prescriptions tomorrow. Seriously considering transferring them to Vons.

The staff is always nice and helpful. Im in and out within a few minutes. The pharmacy staff is very kind. They help me many times. The drive-thru line can be long but I think thats the cost of not wanting to go into the store.

Was there to drop off FedEx package. Gentleman was on the phone didnt acknowledge me until I asked him if someone can help he just looked at me made no comment to me. Finally another employee was walking by and asked her if she can help. Worse experience ever.

Most of the staff are caring and professional. They carry a good selection of OTC items, such as first aid, allergy products, analgesics, etc. At the pharmacy, they always check to see if they have enough stock to fill a prescription, and if they dont, they give you options about going to another store or waiting an extra day so they can order it. If your insurance doesnt cover your prescription, they will try to find a way to discount the price to make it more affordable. I think they need more staff, though, because lines at the pharmacy, including the drive-up window, can be very long. Sometimes the line inside runs clear back to the middle aisle that runs across the store. I have waited behind six cars at the drive-up window, with over 30 minutes wait time. However, I have never been turned away after waiting, even when it was close to closing time. Good people.

Pharmacy line is 11 customers deep. 1 person running the counter. Definitely need more people.

Girls in the pharmacy are RUDE. Your speaking to some peoples mothers and fathers..i bet you wouldnt let anybody speak to your family members the way that you speak to everyone elses. If you cant be polite, when your getting paid, then get a different job. Everyone is replaceable and Im sure there are other people who love to get paid to be nice.

I Have Never Been To Any Pharmacy That Had Such High Prices At Least Twice As Much As Wal-Mart 3Times Higher Than Costco I Have Insurance And Still Wont Go There If You Want To Stay In DHS Go To Rite Aid People Are Very Nice And They Will Work With You On The Price

Would give negative stars if could. I bought a heating pad 2 nights ago. Spent 50 bucks. Got it home and the pad is much too large for what Im looking for, in the day inbetween the receipt sat on my kitchen counter, my wife had spilt our sons juice on the counter and there for the receipt, she then threw it away. The receipt was damaged but still readable and fortunatly the barcode ( you know the one they use to scan when doing a return) was completely spared and clean. I go in tonight try to return the item and the cashier calls in a manager on duty, this lesbian overweight black woman who instantly rude to me and refuses my receipt says cant use it. I tell her umm yeah you can, scan it the barcode is in perfect condition and she refuses again. Very nasty, rude right out of the gate, im pretty sure this is the same woman my mother had problems with here about a year ago with her rude behavior and unwillingness to do anything for a customer. I dont know why this woman is still working here, and I will be contacting corporate and see that something is done to this. As again I will never shop here again. And advise everyone else to save yourself the inconvenience and not to mention their inflated prices on everything. Like 3x as much than anywhere else. Pitiful

There should be another worker help the customers. I only see one that is working that the check stand in the pharmacy and the other worker is helping in the window of the pharmacy. I dont like to wait in a line and customers gets upset. Im upset there isnt no other worker to help the customers that is in the long a**** line. It takes for ever. This pharmacy should get more people to work.

Always busy pharmacy...can be a mad house. In DHS most customers are on government taxpayers paid insurance MediCal.. IAHP or another form of welfare. The staff is very friendly fast friendly very efficient. It seems every customer has some kind of an issue that the insurance is not covering them the doctor has not renewed their prescription so be prepared for long Waits and be prepared for multiple non speaking English fine upstanding citizens of course everyone at least 2 out of control unsupervised rug Rats Absolute Madhouse you lived here legally or illegally learn the language no pity from me. You getting everything for free anyway. On the taxpayers dime tax and spend the liberal Democrats of Sacramento. Desert hot springs is truly the armpit of the desert. If I could I would be gone moving it to another city highest crime rate burglaries shootings so often that its overwhelming. However the Walgreens great staff hard workers they put up with the degeneates of Society. Who instead of trying to improve their lives just take the ghetto at them. No pity for me

I have been here 4 times. Each time the staff acted irritated and 3 out of the 4 times something was wrong with my RX.

As soon as I was at front of line, looks at me, says shell be right with me. Walks away. 15 minutes later still waiting for her to return.

The Walgreens Pharmacy staff in Desert Hot Springs are rubbish. Pedantic, abusive and useless, they never have the medicine Im looking for and the medicine is never ready. They leave you waiting up to an hour just to tell you that they dont have your recipe ready.

What garbage from the pharmacy they left me medicines for the pain of my surgery and I always recommend Walgreens and we leave the prescription for 3 hours and they leave so it is not ready and according to my home address it is incorrect and is reading it well and we go to the of Cathedral and that because the address has a small erasure of the doctor, they did not want to sell me the medicine. What a personnel disaster, no humanity.
