Here I sit in Big Barn’s parking lot ordering parts online. They should hire some parts guys that know something or are willing to help when a customer walks in the door. I guess it’s just as easy not to get off your chair and actually help the customer. A stock clutch cable for a 2010 ultra classic shouldn’t be that hard to figure out the length. I’ll never come back.

I bought a coat back in the early part of riding season. I had to return it for repair but had an issue with it. However, the issue was quickly resolved when Harley sent me a new coat instead. The Big Barn Harley Davidson is awesome

Full disclosure: Ive never bought a bike here, just stopped in on my way through, looked around and bought a couple shirts. Its a nice place, very pretty construction, and is easy to see from the highway. The parking lot isnt great of youre pulling a trailer. The place wasnt very busy at the weird hour I got there so I just blocked a bunch of spaces bit if theyd been hopping there wouldntve been anywhere to park. Otherwise, nice stuff as usual and the girl that checked us out was very pleasant.

I stopped at Big Barn while traveling back to Virginia from Sturgis, SD. I requested an oil change. Dave in Service was one of the nicest people I have ever met. First, he got my bike in for the oil change without any delay. And second, he answered several questions I had about bike maintenance. The people at Big Barn were so nice and helpful, I would highly recommend conducting business with them.

The staff of Big Barn Harley Davidson were very helpful with my needs when I rolled in for a repair. The service staff jumped right in to make sure I was taken care of. As I waited for my bike to be fixed, I did some window shopping and a new 2021 Street Glide caught my eye. The floor room staff were ready when I was to answer my questions and they offered me a fair trade value on my bike and in the end I drove off with a new Street Glide. I love the bike and enjoyed the dealership experience. Just wish I could get my hands on the bike up on the wall under the BIG #1 !!! Thank you.

Bought my 1st bike from them over Memorial Day weekend. Travis listened to my budget needs as I was paying for my bike in full that day. Only dealer that was willing to give me a cash discount because of this. They were not pushy and understood I am a new rider and was not ready for a bigger bike. I was set up with 883 custom from 2000. Everyone at the dealership made me feel more excited when they found out it was my 1st bike. Was even told welcome to the family. Travis has communicated to me everyday on part orders for me. They really go above and beyond for their clients.

Worse customer service, ever. Thought maybe the service guy was overwhelmed, at first. Gave them another chance. Had my bike in for a serious oil leak. Turned out to be a missing bolt on the transmission pan. They replaced the bolt, said it was good to go. Driving home, it was making horrible noise. Turns out, they didnt put any transmission fluid back in it. They hauled it back in, filled it up with oil, said it was good to go. Wth?! Drive it home, ate supper, came back out to a big puddle under the bike. Take it back in, replace the seal. While its in there, I have them replace a circlip for the brake light switch. Driving it home, again, the cruise control wheel falls out. They say they will order a new one, and call me when its in. Almost a month later, I call to inquire about the parts. They put me on hold, after so long on hold, it rings through, I get told very abruptly that I will have to wait. Back in hold I go. Rings through again, and Im told its gonna be a while. Back on hold, again. Rings through again, voicemail. I drive over there, same part I needed, has been sold 3 times, in the last few weeks. Nothing in stock, going to be a few weeks to get it in........ Worst customer service, EVER!!!! Thats not even saying, how the service department yelled at me, about my transmission not having any fluid in it!!

Applied for credit through ESB was told I would be contacted shortly and that took a week. Went in the day after I got the approval and couldn’t get a single person to give me the time of day not even a hello so went down to route 65 and they sold the bike I was looking at but called to make sure it was ok and they had a bike coming in and would call me in a day two about it. Two weeks later nothing out of them so I checked big barns site and they had a bike that caught my eye so I inquired. I got confirmation they still had it then crickets for a bit so I ask for a couple pictures and then am told hey I told the guy you were talking to that you wanted to know about the bike so I explain my experience so far he apologized and no offer to make it right and try to step up to make my experience better. Talk to my wife she suggested reach out and ask if they were willing to step up and make it right. So next morning I reach out and now he’s out for personal business. Crickets for the rest of the week. Terrible all the way around.

The store it’s self is great, however the service department could use some training on customer service. They are very rude and disrespectful. I get that they are busy but a little curtesy and good customer service goes a long way to keeping your customers coming back.

Average. Clothing seemed a bit more expensive than other HD shops. No real sales/clearance finds.

This place is huge for a Midwest Harley Davidson dealerships! A very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy staff! They make you feel like family and at home at this Harley Dealership! There is so much selection there for men and women! Especially for the women which is great for my wife! She was like a kid in a candy store in there cuz of this! Have a very nice clearance section for both men and women! Lots of kids attire and baby clothes as well!!! Tons of bikes in there too! Along with bike accessories, parts and all other things for bikes! We just loved it here and spent a hour or so looking! We werent pressured to buy anything or had a sales person hovering over us which we get from our local dealership! Would occasionally ask how we were doing or ask if we wanted to try stuff on!!! We will be back for sure!!!

Good sized Harley shop. LOTS of stuff to look at. Easy to find right off the interstate.

If I could give no stars I would. My husband took his bike in for brakes, dino tuning and new tires. They said it would be done Monday. When he went to pick it up it the work was not completed. When they had the tire off they did not pack the bearings. 1700 dollars later and it runs worse now than when he took it in. The dino tuning was not done.After my post big barn called onTuesday and wanted to make it right. They came and picked up the bike didnt charge for that.Done all the work that they was supposed to have done the first time. They brought the bike back without charging us. The bike is running awesome. They detailed the bike at no charge. All work was completed at no charge. I would give them 5 stars now.Thank you guysPaul Madison

Terrible customer service 😑 wont be back

Thanks to Big Barn I got the ultra limited the way I like it. Special thanks to the two mechanics that put my under glow on correctly after someone else did it wrong. But they made sure I was happy when it was done. Love it. Thanks Travis for selling me the wicked red and twisted cherry HD ultra limited I love it

Very clean, nice store, too expensive way over priced compared to others. Nobody ever asked if we needed help or even came out from behind the desk, too busy telling stories.

Was a great experience to buy here. Travis was great and fast to reply by text and phone to get me on a bike that I wanted. Whole staff was friendly and polite and feel I could call any department on any day and they would be happy to help me.

For supposedly being a giant Harley Davidson store they didn’t have anything in my size or any accessories that I wanted. They only had one designer helmet to pick from for my wife. We were in there for a half hour and nobody asked if we needed any help.Very disappointing. I won’t be coming back to the store anytime soon!

The people are honest, welcoming, and willing to make you riding future pleasant riding a new Harley Davidson! This is my 3rd purchase in a short amount of time and always felt cared for and respected.

Parts/service dept can be a hit or miss depending on who you get and hows theyre feeling that day. If youre lucky enough to get Scott M. he KNOWS his stuff and is always so friendly and helpful. The 5 stars are directed towards him. I HIGHLY recommend asking for him if you go in for a great experience.

My first time there, one half hour before closing, and what do you know, the clutch desperately needed adjusting! Great service is all I can say!! Half an hour later or less and our group was back on the road with what I can only guess was a Veterans discount..... No charge!! Absolutely wonderful place!!

Great Experience at Big Barn Harley-Davidson. Great people and service department!

I explained that I have a trip planned to the east coast and I just noticed some bad vibration during a recent ride. I asked if a skilled tech could take it for a quick two minute drive to tell me if they sense anything. They gave me a date two weeks out. I was a little surprised by the lack of caring or any recognition that a customer needs their help.

After years and years I finally decided to buy a new bike(2020 Iron 883) thru Big Barn Harley. The first thing is don’t be intimidated to walk in!!! The crew(including my sales dude, Travis) were all extremely welcoming and inviting!! I did the Rider Academy class recently and the training gives you tons and tons of confidence to get on the bike and ride!!! Rick does a great job of limiting the numbers to only 10 people and you get on a real Harley for training! And my two MSF instructors, Ken and Mike, were simply amazing and very supportive and the coaching was excellent!!!On the sales side, Travis did a great job and helped meet my needs for a new bike. After purchase he introduced me to the parts team(Scott); the Merch team(Lucy); the service team(Warren) and to the Finance Team(Traci). All of them were so welcoming and nice!!I picked up the new bike Monday and had to bring in for quick service(the horn was not working) and Danny literally fixed it in 30 seconds!!!! They are swamped in service and Danny looked, hooked the wires back up, and I was back on way(horns are vital for Safety). Instead of having to wait, Danny took initiative, looked quickly and had it fixed!! Thank you!!Bottom line, it is great place. I love that the people are local and they want you to be SAFE and have a great experience. And I love having a made in USA bike that I am quickly loving to ride!!!

I have never seen a company treat people the way these guys at this barn do I would never expected to get took twice when they were trying to fix the first one and dont think because you spend 40,000 cash think they will treat you any better because I did just that I never felt the way they made me feel I dont recommend this barn o how about the bike I got back with dents and scratchs after they kept it for months after they sold me a used bike with no chain guard and a bad rear rim and sprocket good thing Im not dumb cause I would be Dead and then tried to charge me and they did and it was under warranty not a good place

They arent really the friendliest folk. Ive gone in after a hard days work and cant seem to get any help. Then there are times Im dressed well and theyre so far up my butt I have to all them to back off. They just a book by its cover.

I just finished the motorcycle safety coarse with Big Barn. Best decision I could have made.Rick got me in the door and put me in the direction.Ken laid out the lessons and explained them in the way that even I could understandAnd Mike was the real hero by setting the examples to follow and displaying a level of patience that could only be described as Buddhist in my opinion.It was challenging rewarding and by far the most educational.I can only say, with all sincerity. Great selection of bikes

Great location and very neat and clean store. Staff has been very friendly when I have stopped in and they offer a lot of services. Definitely a unique store. Every time I have stopped in they have not offered a lot of sales. They put on rides and usually have a good turn out for those as well. Definitely worth the stop to check it out.

Never in my life have I received better dealership support from anything Ive owned than I did from Big Barn Harley. They were my heroes when I really needed one.My 2008 Ultra Classic suffered a known failure (unknown to me at the time) of the connection between the throttle and fuel injection unit.My bike was dead on the side of I-80. Within 30 minutes I was picked up and on my way to their shop, and once I got there they dropped everything to get my bike fixed.Add to that they have a really nice retail shop with a ton of products to browse that makes this a destination dealership.Anytime Im anywhere near Des Moines Ill stop by. Extra credit that I got a veteran discount!These guys are amazing. Dont pass them by while rolling through town!
