I brought my Infiniti in last year to get a simple oil change. During the service, they also did a full inspection and said that my transfer case was leaking, which would cost $1300 for them to repair, in addition to several other items that totaled nearly $2000. Since I had just purchased my vehicle a couple months earlier, I had my doubts and took it in to another shop to have inspected. They said there was no leak and the vehicle was in good overall condition. Thank goodness I got a second opinion and saved myself a couple grand. Fast forward to a couple days ago. My A/C hasn’t been working properly and my front has been making grinding noises. Thus far, my primary service shop has had trouble determining the cause. Apparently, Infiniti issues are a PITA for anyone else to diagnose because of the way they are made. I tried to get into Bob Brown and Nissan but even they said that Infiniti would need to look at it. So, against my better judgment, I decided I must bring my car back into Infiniti for repair. It took an hour for them to do a full inspection and diagnose several issues that totaled nearly $4000. Can you believe that the transfer case magically doesn’t have a leak anymore?! After getting the quote, I said I would need to call back after discussing with my husband. When I called back, Chris (the service manager I spoke with) was unavailable so I had to leave a message. After a few hours, I still hadn’t heard back from him so I went into the service department to see him. I asked if I could use my 20% off coupon for service that I had received in the mail; but he said it’s only good up to $100. I will mention it does not specify this anywhere on the coupon. At this point, my husband and I both felt skeptical about the costs and diagnosis, so I only asked for a portion of the work to be done for now. Chris said they didn’t have the part in stock but he should have it the next day (Friday) and be able to get it done. Friday came and went and I didn’t hear a word from him. According to Google, the service department is open on Saturdays from 9-noon, so I called this morning to see if I could pick up my car today. The lady who answered said that the service ticket was showing incomplete and everyone was gone until Monday. I had planned to drive my car out of town this weekend so the complete lack of communication from Chris really pisses me off. I can promise you I will never return to the Infiniti service center in Des Moines and will certainly never recommend that anyone else go there, either. I should be able to take my Infiniti vehicle into the Infiniti Service Center and trust that what they are telling me is correct. I also expect for them to have excellent communication with me as to when my vehicle will be ready, considering it is my primary source of transportation. Completely ridiculous.

I was having problems with my Infiniti G35 the knock sensor code was coming up on the code reader. After replacing the knock sensor twice, I tried talking to the service dept. They did not want to give me me any advice on what else could be the problem. After numerous calls to other shops around town, come to find out there is a sub harness that goes out, on the knock sensor. So I called the parts dept. to get the knock sensor sub harness to fix the problem, well the parts dept. couldnt even find this part in their books. After hours of researching on line i finally found this part. Thank you Infiniti for not helping. I will order all my future parts not from you

Service department was very rude. Said their was so much wrong with my car they would need at least 20 minutes to get me a list of everything. I waited for them to finish the oil change for 2 hours and was late so he said he would text it to me. Still waiting for the info. Then my husband called and he said he gave it to me!!! Completely rude, unprofessional, and unorganized. Will never go back there for service or to buy a car there! Wish I could leave zero stars!!!!
