This use to be my go-to liquor store in GVR. Not anymore. Sadly, the new ownership is rude, has started eliminating the previous wine selection, and they no longer have quick payment options.On top of that, they charged a woman for bottle that was accidentally dropped at the register even though she had three other items she was purchasing. Customer hospitality? Business Insurance?I hope she doesn’t come back, because I’m most certainly am not. 🗑🚮

Wow!! For as nice and clean as the store looks this was the warmest micro beer I’ve ever bought in a commercial grade liquor store refrigerator. I proceeded to buy it and inquired about the temperature and the clerk took a beer out and put it against her face and said it felt fine with her and continued to give me attitude. I will never go back again

I love this store! They have a great selection of everything, at very fair prices. They also have the best price Ive found for 2 litre bottles, which is great when youre addicted to soda AND like to use it for mixer! Finally, and most important, the staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, down to earth people. I like going to this store specifically because its like going to see good friends. Who also sell liquor.

No service bad attitude they have forgotten that customers and sales pay their wages!

Convenient near King Soopers.

It was raining (then snowing) the day we visited Tower Liquors and so we wanted a nice bottle of wine to have with dinner and veg indoors. They have a nice selection but not overwhelming. The staff was friendly and helpful but I wouldn’t say they were sommeliers or avid wine enthusiasts. We ended up selecting a very nice bottle of wine for a reasonable price and ended the day sipping wine and watching the snow!

A decent collection, and definitely good prices, but a bit spotty on service. How can a liquor store employee not even know what sake is?

The absolute WORST Liquor store. Rude, unhelpful owners/employees who wont help you. Do yourself a favor and dont even bother with these people. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was by their rudeness.

This isnt one of the biggest liquor stores Ive been to, and I didnt have time to explore, but it seems to be very well stocked and chock-full of almost all your liquor needs. I will return, as even though it was busy, the cashier seemed friendly and knowledgeable and took his time with the customers. I will return for a closer look!

I went in today to ask about their stocking position that they had available. When I asked to talk to the manager about it, the only woman that was working in the building spoke to me and she flat out said in her own words We dont want a woman. We want a MAN for the position. Those were her EXACT words. I tried to assure her that I had experiance in wearhouses and stocking and lifting heavy boxes but she STILL shook her head no and said, we want a man. So I litterally got turned down to apply for their stocking position because of my gender. (Illegal much?)

Just common brands of liquors. Nothing special or unique.. Good prices though.. I found a better selection down the street.

My neighborhood store. Decent prices, not the best customer service. They do let you use your debit card for purchases under $5.00 which is convenient.

I have never been so frustrated with a retail store in my life. I stopped in, as i do almost weekly, to grab my wife and myself a bottle of wine after a long day. Due to time constraints I had to bring my son, which is no big deal to me. He is very well behaved. Unfortunately, he accidentally knocked a bottle of sky vodka off the shelf and broke the cap ONLY! Almost immediately, an employee comes around the corner and treats me like a toddler with his condescending tone of what happened?. I felt like saying i hate that stuff so I broke it. I decided to be nice and said Im sorry it was an accident. Without hesitation he told me he was going to charge me for it. I already had about $35 of items in my hand. I asked him why they couldnt just damage it out, after all, it was an honest mistake. Frustrated as i was, I went to the counter, where sure enough, they remembered to charge me. I started to raise hell again because I know full well bottles break frequently in an alcohol store. Some old hag of a lady was not budging. So needless to say, I paid for it and left. I will never return. This store is THE most convenient for me, but i will still go elsewhere. Some simple customer service would go a long way. Mistakes happen. I wish I had a way to prove my point, but hopefully this will do for now.On other occasions Ive been forced to have awkward political conversations with some war vet boasting an opinion I couldnt disagree with more. Not impressed with this place at all and its really unfortunate. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

Theres just about a liquor store on every other corner, but there are few liquor stores out there that have a friendly staff, who are knowledgeable about what they sell.It is my go to store for a last minute bottle of spirits before a gathering.They have great selection, and make helpful recommendations for a novice wine person, like myself.Its where I do the bulk of my wine shopping. Theyre shelve are neat and well organized. If you live in the GVR area, you should give them a try.

Speedy! Exactly what I want!When I go to a liquor store I want to get in and out. The is a perfect no B.S. liquor store. I love that even if there is a longer line after work they do an excellent job of keeping things moving at a good pace. Well stocked and decent prices.If your kid breaks stuff (even just a little) expect to pay for it, as you should if you are a self respecting parent.

I dont go in liquor stores but this is where my fiancee purchase his beer. I went in to play the lottery. I dont know much about Colorado lottery. The clerk took the time to tell me about the lottery and how and when to play on different days. I enjoy playing the scratch offs. My fiancee like the prices of the beer and the clerks are friendly.

I like the guy with 90s themed shirts. The prices are the highest for this area. But mostly Ive recieved respect no trouble here. However they dPo not have rewards either.

So the way this company gets away with taking your money, they key in incorrect prices. The gentleman who helped my husband was having problems inputting a price and instead of putting in $29.99 (dont even believe this amount is correct as other stores sell it for $16.49) for Bushmills 1608 Red Bush (red lable) 750ml, keyed it in as $92.99 (8/16/19). Have been back and forth numerous times (8/23/19) and will not give a store credit or a refund. The gentleman that helped my husband even remembers the transaction and the problem he was having that day. The manager today (9/7/19) indicated thats what it says in our system, well thats because the gentleman (tall, think, beard, mustache, glasses) keyed it in that way. I had the manager show me where this was located and, guess what, no price for this was on the shelf. Now we want and entire refund because of the time and money we spent on getting back and forth. The gentleman requested not only the receipt, but the bottle for proof. It was his mistake for inputting the amount incorrectly in their system. Also, my husband was never asked for his ID and the receipt does not show his birth date. When I was in there today (9/7/19) I was not asked for my ID and the young lady who checked me out did not even give me a receipt. I purchased the liquor ice cream (8-16oz. containers). I had to select a 1 star on this to get it to post. Really no stars is what it should be.

Have met great people, this liquor store has a great variety of beer, wines, vodka, whiskey, tequila.

I love this place it stays open till the time they are supposed to stay open they dont close early like all the other liquor stores around when you get home tired from work you might want to have a beer or two

I went in to Tower Liquor, where Ive been many times before, to purchase a couple bottles of wine, and noticed a bottle on a lower shelf that was hanging over, so I reached down to push in back in & accidentally knocked it off. I called someone to come & clean it. I proceeded to check out & was told that I would have to pay for the broken bottle. Naturally, I wasnt aware of that & checked their small sign upon entering confirmed that. That said, what I dont feel is right is that I paid for something that I didnt get. They could have a discretionary policy that allows you to purchase something else for full price + 1/2 of the broken item, or a coupon inviting you to come again & purchase w/an inventive. That way both customer & retailer win & no one walks away without a grudge or without any merchandise. Im sure that broken bottles dont happen very often & insurance or prices built in would take care of mishaps. Very bad way to do business, and I never intend to return.

My go to spot for my refreshments for the past 3 years. The employees are all funny and amazing and the environment feels more welcoming then most of the other liquor stores in the area.

Too slow for my taste, more selection and cashiers at DIA Liquors. Line at Towers just continued to increase as one of the cashiers just stood there and scanned lottery tickets.

Bought a mystery 6-pack of beer for $11 and half of the pack consisted of a non-alcoholic beer, MGD and a Bud Select. I didnt expect to get 6 high quality craft beers but having half of the pack worth closer to 50 cents a beer (and one NA) than the nearly $2/beer I paid for is very disappointing. Not sure why non-alcoholic is even an option in a mystery pack of *beer*.

After a 30hr road trip, our first stop was here because its the closest to home. All I wanted was a bottle of moscato. We asked to use the bathroom and a worker was kind enough to let us borrow it, I have always been a client since it first opened and after today, I will never go back. They overreacted because the employee let us use the bathroom and were extremely rude thereafter. It was one of the worst experience Ive ever had. I couldnt believe that they would treat a customer like that over a bathroom. If zero was an option thats what I would rate it. I will take my business to gateway liquor store going forward.

This place is the best. We take 3-4 trips to the mountains each ski season and this is ALWAYS the first spot we stop to load up on booze. Super convenient from the airport, good prices, and on the way to Wal-mart (where we stock up on food) before heading west on I-70. The prices in Vail/Breck/etc. are outrageous, so we get everything in Denver to save some coin. We stumbled upon this place by accident the first time, and well never go anywhere else. The staff is super cool and friendly, and will help you find anything youre looking for.Tip: buy 1 or 20 shooters at the counter to add a little spice to your ride into the mountains! (not if youre driving of course)
