This place used to have good prices. Now they price gouge all the popular stuff. $125 for Elmer T Lee, $52 for Eagle Rare, $35 for Buffalo Trace. Shop here if you want to pay 50-125% mark up over msrp. They have a good selection but prices just dont seem fair anymore. Which is why I give them 2 stars. Bring your prices back to normal or do a lottery system for the allocated bottles and the rating might change. Otherwise, ill shop elsewhere.

Ive been a loyal customer for some time now, and from the first time stepping into this store, to now a few years later, Ive had an amazing experience here. The employees are always super kind and helpful, and their selection is top-notch and diverse. If there is something they dont stock regularly, just ask someone there, and they will try to get it in (I have done this, and if its available/possible, they will definitely get it). Ive had nothing but a positive experience with all of the staff...... Recently I broke my leg and was in a cast with crutches for several months, and almost every time I would come in (few times/week), they would help me carry my items to the registers and even carry my bag to my car for me, ensuring I dont hurt myself or my bottles. A huge thank you to all those that helped me - you know who you are.My opinion may be slightly biased, but objectively one of the best liquor stores around and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Solid place. Prices are the same as anwhere else on cheap beer. Only downside is that they have no 30 packs of beer. I really like there 1 dollar beer stand at the front. Usally packed with the same stuff, but it is usally stacked with stuff that is above what you would pay if you bought a larger pack which is nice.

Lots to select from if youre looking at the medium price range. I wouldnt recommend this place if you want a high-end bottle or fancy wine.I am editing this post to include a note about the wine. There is a wine expert that works at this location and he is extremely helpful. While they dont always have the wine I am looking for, he always has great suggestions for similar wines to try. I am adding a star because this is very rare around here.

Terrible experience today with the cashier Eric. He should not be working with people. Being in the industry myself, it takes a lot for me to get upset. But this guy is something else. I don’t know if he was angry he had to work during a storm, but he was extremely rude. No customer service whatsoever. We drove during a blizzard and was ready to checkout 10 mins before closing time. Me and my boyfriend come here all the time because we live close and love to come here because we know everyone who works here and even the manager recommends us new drinks to try. Never will i ever set foot in here again. I’m guessing this Eric guy was new because i had never seen him before but this was the most horrible experience i ever had at a frickin liquor store!

I loved this store when they first opened. Their prices were competitive and they had not one but two great wine guys. Now their prices are higher than average with no sales and as far as I can tell there are no wine specialists.

Denver Liquor Galaxy is close to home, clean and well organized, actually has a great selection of beer and wine, and has quick/attentive employees! They also do not overprice what they have. This has been our go-to liquor store for a few months now and we have not been disappointed. Today we decided to try and order from them through the Drizly app for the first time and received over the top service after a little mix up with our delivery. Great service all around from Denver Liquor Galaxy. Thank you guys!

This liquor store is great it has the feel and personal touch of the neighborhood liquor store but the stock and selection of a major liquor warehouse. They have a lot of great stuff and they have great prices too.

This place is a nice liquor store, large and well stocked, but the prices for the 4 loko are not right, some are low,as in 2.29 per item, and then right next to the same beverage the price jumps up to 2.99 , seems like a scam to me, and then some of the girls are standoffish and less than social, depending on who you are when you come up to the register.

I have been here once, and enjoyed the customer service. They are friendly people. I liked the German import section, a good selection. Only issue I had was as far as I know there was no Japanese import area. Some Sake would have been great. Otherwise a nice place on a good bus route.

They have an good selection of beer, wine and spirits but their prices are about 5-15% higher than comparably-sized liquor stores.Im mostly a beer guy and they do have many of the big name local craft breweries and occasionally theyll get something unusual but Ive never found anything really unusual or rare. Still, its much better than the average liquor store when it comes to selection and if they are convenient the slightly higher prices may be worth it.

This is my go to spot. Huge selection and great staff. I will go out of my way just to go here. Wouldnt have it any other way.

Had been coming here for the past couple weeks after moving because I loved their selection of craft beers and assorted liquor. This time I was told that my out-of-state license was fake, and I would not be sold to... Guy was even cracking jokes asking how much I paid for it. Poor customer service, just went down the road instead.

Prices a little higher than our normal liquor store but they do have cool liquor tastings. Plus their right next to papa Murphys!

They have a great red wine called Adesso and it is delicious with Hersheys dark chocolate...

Galaxy Liquors is behind the Village Inn nestled up against the laundromat, Dollar Store and Papa Murphys nearby at Hampden and Yosemite. Though I go elsewhere for my particular brand of vodka, I buy absolutely every thing else from Galaxy Liquors. The staff is always friendly and helpful, whether I am getting off of work after third shift around 9 a.m., or Im strolling in near closing-time around 11 p.m. or midnight on the weekend. Numerous times the young gentlemen behind the counter have given excellent advice such as pairing a really good whiskey with my current beer of choice right before I hosted a very important Saint Patricks Day party last month. Because of this amazing and helpful customer service, and the sheer availability of hard to find brand names, the excellent hours and location , I will be using and patronising this establishment for many years to come. If you come in and give this place a try, you will most definitely see why I gave it the maximum five stars. Well done, Galaxy Liquors!

Awesome store, huge selection and great prices! They usually have 2-3 staff on hand so check-out lines never happen. The staff are always engaging and trying to help you find new things to check out. The workers seem to enjoy their jobs which is nice to see. The owner never fails to say hi or have a good day every time I walk by him when Im there. As far as Ive found, only one place in town has lower prices but I keep going to Galaxy for the environment. If I had to identify a negative to this place its that my cell phone service (Verizon) never works in there, like the store is a faraday cage lol.

It’s rare I write reviews, but man the guy working the register was a jerk. I went in to buy liquor today and I looked in the area marked Mixers looking for Cola, I couldn’t find it so I asked the guy up front if it was elsewhere. He was extremely rude and responded to me sarcastically as if I should know where it was. It was a little more hidden in a corner at the front of the store.It was my first time in this liquor store as I just moved in right down the street. Customer service is poor. A three minute drive elsewhere is worth it.
