Full stocked, great wine options (they’re most robust sections are Spain, Italy & California but they have small New Zealand, South American & South African sections). Good whiskey options as well as tequila, and vodka. Their rum has much left to be desired. Good beer selection as well.Service is great, it gets real busy on Friday nights and the line goes through the store so you will always be in the way of shoppers. Make sure you have your ID no excuses.

Unless you are desperate and need a bottle and do not have time to research cheaper alternatives do not go here. The price of a bottle of vodka was over $12 higher than other liquor stores. That is one hell of a markup!! I havent been to a liquor store this expensive since I was in Times Square in NYC.

This wine store was found on the internet. The proprietor was really accommodating, intelligent, courteous, and personable. We informed him how much we intended to invest, and he walked us through the various possibilities. We bought 12 bottles of wine and had them transported to another nation; the wine was fantastic! Well place another purchase through the website.

One of the better (if not only) liquor stores off the 16th Street Mall if youre staying downtown. Very good selection of spirits to choose from. Cigars are available, but NOT a good selection. Also, expect to pay those downtown tourists prices 💰

I only buy the lil shooters from here when i goto 16th street, to drink around town, everything else is expensive but they do got cheap shooters, then ill go to cvs/711 next store for chaser, its cheaper that way, the location is perfect n its still technically cheaper than the other liquer stores nearby in the 16th street area..it does smell but worth it for in-out price n convience(for lil shooters)

This place smells terrible and is extremely overpriced. Went a month ago, it smelled like a porta potty, the workers knew about it and didnt seem to care. Came back in today, smell issue still wasnt fixed and there is no timeline to correct it or any care about itwhen I mentioned it. I guess the owner/worker enjoys living in filth. Hard to make me not like a liquor store that is right around the corner from where I live. Go anywhere but here.

Felt that Id be better off buying my Jack Daniels here than getting drinks aboard the Amtrak to Pittsburgh.

No parking, lots of drunks. Didnt even bother to stop and look inside.

Really good selection of beer, wines, and all types of liquor. Generally more expensive than other places but its convenient. I assume they deal with a lot being on 16th Street Mall so no one is overly friendly but everyone is polite.

The prices are horrible, downtown smells and unfortunately for this location it just stinks down there. (As the liquor store is located below ground) That aside the people who work there are absolutely awesome and friendly. But being where it is, the prices are just jacked up.

Wow are they over priced. I went in because it is closest to where I live, I cannot go back because they run $10 - $15 higher in price than say Argonaut which is a 10 min walk. I would rather walk. Plus when I called I wanted a specific item, Sake, the person who answered the phone was rude and acted as if I was interrupting him. I asked what brands of Sake they carried he said he didnt know but they had over 20 different kinds. I get there and they have 7, really. I just cannot go back even though I live downtown.

Owners a nice guy and helpful. Cool downtown location, below ground and right off the funky 16th St. pedestrian mall. 5 min. walk from our hotel made for easy access.

Nice little store, but hard to find! We walked past it over and over. You have to go down stairs to get to it and there is really no sign to tell you that. Just have to keep looking or give up on alcohol. 😉

They will overcharge you in a heartbeat. Check your receipts 3 times over cause what they mark (high) is not what the charge you (higher).They play on easy marks from tourists coming from the mall.

Prices are higher than you will find elsewhere. Staff was neither welcoming nor helpful. They do carry a large selection of wine sorted by region. When you have no other choice this works. Just meter your expectations accordingly.

They Treat everyone rudely and seem predjudiced. I feel intimidated going in there. I only use this store when absolutely necessary.

Wildly overpriced. Maybe not for the area but wow this place reminded me why I take the time to drive over to Mollys in Lakeside. Charged 22 dollars (after tax) for an 18 pack of Coors cans whereas at Mollys I can get 30 of the same Coors cans for less. Nice (enough) people working there, but I really cannot overlook the pricing.

This place was very difficult to find. Had to ask several people if google maps was right, if there really was a liquor store there. Finally found it, but the man at the counter was very rude and impatient.

Owner is a jerk. He doesnt validate any vertical IDs regardless of their validity. His philosophy towards refusing service to keep his license is counter intuitive since nobody makes vertical fake IDs.

This place closes whenever they feel like it. Been screwed over on making a purchase before midnight more than once, closing before their 11:45pm (10:45pm Sundays) posted time. Just save yourself the time and frustration and go to Argonaut, cheaper and WAY better selection.

Consistent with other reviews there is an awful odor in the place. The prices are very high but I’m guessing you have to pay for convenience.

OK selection. Really rude owner/manager. Watches/follows people around and yelled at me and another patron when we waited in line that we needed to wait in another part of the counter. Mind you, theres no signs and we were lined up behind a person who was at a register. I wont be back.

Got what I needed quickly. The sign on the door requests for customers to put backpacks behind the counter. I obliged, but felt a little silly doing so.

These people are the lowest of the low. Expect the same service that you get in a liquor store in the ghetto of Detroit. Its amazing they are still in businesses. If you can tolerate the horrible putrid smell of sewage you might be able to purchase an over priced bottle that has been showered in their dirty mop water. Avoid this place at any cost.

Insulting prices. Easily a 30% markup on beer. $12.99 for a New Belgium 6-pack is absurd.They are the only liquor store in the immediate area. Plan ahead. Do not buy your alchohol here.

Terrible establishment, avoid if you can. The proprietor of this place is a vile and intolerant creature who bathes in 16th Streets sewage... They kicked out the nice man in front of me with a slew of racial insults, and then furiously kicked me out AT the counter, with expensive bottle in hand, for discretely & politely mentioning it smelled funny in the back. Never have I received such hostile service in my life!
