The employee was extremely unprofessional. She turned down a $40 sale because we did not want to buy a 50 cent mask. Not for nothing if you want to enforce mask, I support that fully. If vaccinated customers come in without a mask you provide them one free. Not try to up charge paying customer who came to support your business.The manner in which she spoke to us was worst than her lacking up sale.We do not support businesses that do not support their customers.

I highly recommend this business, and especially the pharmacy. Carly and Anna are personable, attentive to detail, and have been very helpful navigating issues with refill prescription delays and pre-authorizations for my insurance (neither of which were caused by Cap Heights). Cant give them enough credit for the job theyre doing!

I wish I had found this drug store when I first moved to Denver. Ive driven by the place so many times & thought it was just another liquor store. But - the pharmacy is excellent - nice people, very helpful. Good prices (much cheaper than Walgreens). It feels like an old-time neighborhood pharmacy.

This small neighborhood business is now my pharmacy of choice. Most of the retail space is filled by shelves of wine and liquor, but there is also a small section devoted to over-the-counter meds. Better still, there is a shelf for local Colorado products such as salsa, pickles, and other specialties.There are two small chairs for pharmacy customers who need to sit while they wait; there is even a play center with toy tools for young children. These furnishings are often, unfortunately, surrounded by unsightly boxes, cartons, and other detritus from deliveries of wine and beer. “A” for effort, there, but “C” for execution.Nevertheless, the pharmacy is efficient and well-run. The pharmacists are friendly and helpful. I have been very happy with the service I’ve received. Everything that you think you need from a large, franchised pharmacy can be found here.

Only discovered this place because it was one close by that had the time I needed to get my covid vaccine. I appreciate the liquor and pharmacy combination. Will come here more often if I can. Pharmacy staff were really nice and I barely had to wait to get vaccine. I liked talking to the owner too, he was friendly.

BEST pharmacy EVER! I love supporting our local Colorado economy. I love that this place exists to serve us. Why do I love it? 1. There is a parking lot. 2. It is small, easy to find anything I need without being overwhelmed by things I do not need. 3. Everyone that works there is SO wonderful. Case in point, when I had my prescriptions sent over from another local pharmacy that closed, they seamlessly handled all of my scripts without missing a beat. I got a text telling me that my scripts were ready to pick up, no big thing. :) When my husband went to pick up, they asked if they could put another one on monthly refill for us. What? They were anticipating my needs!?!?! Yes please! AND finally...4. When my daughter had to come in with me one day, they actually saw her. They treated her like another person, and they talked to her. :) It sounds funny, but I cant wait until I pick up my scripts next month!

This is the best pharmacy if all time! They have treated me like I was one of their own. They always go out of their way to make sure that I am satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our local neighborhood noon-chain pharmacy. We dont generally so the liquor store, but get all our drugs, flu shots, etc. From them. Knowledgeable staff who know their customers.

As another reviewer said, I went to this pharmacy once and I get non stop texts from them. Beware of giving out your number to this place. I tried blocking the number but somehow the texts still come through. I emailed them so hopefully they can remove my number.Edited to add update: 4 months ago the owner assured me my phone number would be removed from the contact list. Still getting texts from them though. I have unsubscribed, blocked, and called my cell phone provider to report this yet nothing works. Do NOT give your phone number to these people.

Cant speak highly enough about this pharmacy and their staff. Not only is it an extremely convenient location, but their pharmacists go above and beyond to make sure prescriptions are filled quickly and with minimal work to the patient. Theyve been helpful to transfer prescriptions when Im out of town and to get refills when prescriptions are expired.They also have a great selection of beverages for a neighborhood corner store!

This little shop is truly the best. When I had a staph infection and couldnt leave the house a couple of the employees delivered my prescriptions to me on their own time after they closed up for the day. XOXO!Also, prescriptions are always cheaper than the big box stores. During this COVID pandemic they even deliver (no charge) beer, wine, prescriptions, and groceries. Truly a place doing the community a service! Plus everyone there is the coolest :)

I went in here this morning for the first time. WOW. I waited UNDER 10 minutes for my Rx to be filled. Kristin (the owner) was so polite and sweet. As were the 2 other employees I interacted with. Even the guy making a delivery was nice! I will never, ever, ever go to another pharmacy again. THANK YOU for being nice humans in a not-so-nice world. Please dont ever leave Denver!!

Absolutely wonderful neighborhood gem. The pharmacy staff goes above and beyond to provide prompt, accurate, and helpful service. They have worked with various doctors - even out of state - to meet my familys needs. They always greet me by name and with a smile. I will never go anywhere else. The wine and beer selection is awesome, always something new and delicious to try. The store staff is equally friendly and helpful. I always feel welcomed and valued when I shop at Capitol Heights!

This is a great liquor store/pharmacy/convenience store. They are always adding new wines to their inventory, and the staff is super nice and helpful. Its a great piece of the community, and Im always happy to go there.

Capitol Heights has been my preferred pharmacy since I moved into the neighborhood three years ago. The owners and employees are super-friendly, and the pharmacy staff are especially helpful with filling prescriptions and advising re. treatment of minor ailments. Plus, its very convenient to have the liquor store (with a good selection of wines and beers), and a mini-grocery store on the same premises.

Walked in with my daughter to purchase wine for my Mother. The gentleman at the counter asked for both of our ids. I told him, She is my daughter. He rudely told me Calm down. She touched a bottle. She did not touch any of the bottles I was purchasing. She pointed out a bottle with a sugar skull on it. Saying it was cool. I am 41 years old. I am certainly allowed to purchase liquor. This was our second bad experience with the same gentleman. It really felt like he had a problem with the way we look. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this experience. I will be sure to spend my money in establishments that embrace actual customer service. To all people.

This pharmacy is pretty special and amazing in my opinion. Since day one over a year ago when we started using them as they were the local area pharmacy, they have been attentive, friendly, and willing to work with us on some difficult medication issues.Recently, they went way above and beyond the call of duty, so to speak, and helped a family member in a very difficult situation. The pharmacist and others working there really didnt have to go that extra mile, but they did and did so in a caring and compassionate manner. Honestly, I was rather stunned because I have not seen that kind of compassion in this field for a long time. Its refreshing!If you want to go somewhere that sees you as a person and not a RX number. a pharmacy where they call you by name and help you work out any medication issues , I would suggest Capitol Heights Pharmacy! Refused my service dog to come in the store. After providing all the proper paperwork.First it’s iIllegal to ask what your dog is service for. Plus talk about a invasion of privacy.When showing all the paper work. I was told,“It doesn’t matter your dog still isn’t allowed.”Very poor customer service. Plus prices are way more expensive.So do yourself a favor and drive 2 blocks away to 7-11 or walk to the gas station. Horrible people.

Great selection of wine, beer and the hard stuff, along with Colorado-produced goods and snacks. AND locally owned and operated - cant ask for more!

Overpriced alcohol, used to go here for convenience. On one occasion, the owner lectured me for five minutes on banking with Wells Fargo. Another time threatened to tow my car after patronizing the business and leaving for five minutes. Drive out of my way to avoid their prices, terrible customer service, and poor snack selection. Customer comes first!

What, a local small business pharmacy??? Im in. Ive had so many issues with Walgreens that I looked around and found Capital Heights. My prescription has been here for about 5 months and this place is the best. Pharmacists actually know what theyre supposed to....as in they know their pharmaceuticals haha. Theres never a line, service is quick, staff is friendly and talkative, and they call me personally when my prescription has been filled. ANNNDDDD they have all the alcohol you need right there in the same building!! BONUS

The old dirty hippie running the store is a complete jerk on the phone and in person. Theres plenty of other shops in the area, take your money elsewhere.

Walgreens is two blocks from my house but walking a few more blocks to this place is worth it. The pharmacy staff are the friendliest, most helpful, and most thoughtful in any store I have met in Denver.
