Anybody who gave this place 1 star should have their reviewing privileges revoked. This is an elite coffee shop, one of, if not the, best in Denver. Their Saigon herbal tea is to die for, the breakfast burritos are top notch, great bagels, and of course the coffee is delicious. Staff is really cool too, always kind and helpful. Love it here.

Busy little coffee shop with amazing coffee (and coffee art) and gorgeous flowers. Fast, hospital service. Will visit again! They serve the tastiest mochas, my favorite.Update: I’m relieved to see that Lula Rose General Store not only survived the pandemic, but the shop seems to be thriving, serving coffee and pastries in a safe, socially distanced way.I still love the taste of their mochas and the heart latte art was a lovely bonus.

I have to leave 1 star even though i love their staff and bagels... unfortunately, the last 3 times I’ve made the trip out to their store, they ran out of bagels... and almost everything else. How do you run out of bagels at 9am on tuesday? This place is not busy enough for those kinds of errors. If someone new could manage their inventory, I think they’d do really well.

What can I say about my favorite coffee shop on Colfax and the greater denver area? Sometimes I wish it was a little further away so that I had something other than will power to keep me from going every day.Just kidding I don’t think that would actually keep me away.Their espresso and coffee: super bright and flavorful. They use SweetBloom and MiddleState so you’re sure to get a great cup of whatever you order. They make their own syrups so again, great flavor (try the cafe meow, it’s fantastic)Food: provided by Good Bread, arguably the best bakery in Denver, and it’s right across the street so it is FRESH!!Also their fresh made breakfast burritos are DELICIOUS and they have a great vegetarian option that’s filling but not overly so (compromised of green chili, need I say more?)Baristas: nothing short of rad and wonderful people. They’ll make your drink right and quick, and NAIL an oat milk cap every time no matter the barista so A++Atmosphere: chill and good music (they also sell plants so... bonus points here)Location: prime. Whether it’s a week day or the weekend, there is plenty to do and is surrounded by lots of great, local spots to check out.15/10, I will always return when I’m in the area (or when I’m not and craving a fantastic beverage)And the newly

Popped into Little Lula Rose to grab a quick cappuccino while we waited for a table at Denver Biscuit Company and set out to explore the shops up and down Colfax on our way to the end up at the Twist and Shout record store.Wonderfully curated coworking/studio space for floral arrangements and workshops - and theres a barista who will gladly make you a solid cashew cappuccino. Small assortment of artisan gifts and novelties. Had a handful of candles, jewellery, paper goods merchandised with the live plants and florals. A great place to get social, get creative and get caffeinated.

This place was alright IMO. I didnt have time to figure the place out before the Barista ushered me to the counter. He wasnt too explainitive of their Shop. $3 dollars for a medium americano and they cant add cream and sugar, plus i tipped before my order! This is white privilege. But the coffee DID taste amazing after meandering the sugar tray, and concocting my EYE OPENER. If youre looking for a quaint spot to bring a date in the a.m. this is the place. They have great decor that is one of the first things that stands out about this place. When I asked for a specialty menu they told me they didnt have any specialty drinks however their spin of a vanilla latte is very satisfying. The Cortado was smooth and velvety and vanilla latte was the right amount of heat and sweetness. I also tried their blueberry cornbread and it was delicious, not too sweet or dry. Definitely a must see and if you are into simple drinks this is your spot !

They take their coffee seriously, in a good way. Batista know his stuff, extremely familiar with all the local coffee companies in town. Their house pour over changes daily. When I was there they were pouring a Honduras from Heart out of Portland. Was toasty with subtle notes of toffee and raisins.Very clean, simple, neat and cozy space. Extremely welcoming, next door to a breakfast restaurant, a brewery and a bar. Cool neighborhood for sure. The lighting is great. Big clear windows allow natural light to fill the space. If youre looking for a place to get a great cup of coffee in a relaxing modern place, come down here.

This is a great spot for a well made cup of coffee or espresso, and also a fantastic spot for the growing community of Colfax. Its not overpriced like some others have mentioned. The price is very reasonable for the quality. It used to be a flower shop, and although I loved walking by the flowers each day and was sorry to see it go, Im also very happy that its turned into a community space that, like many others, is making East Colfax a wonderful place to live.

Hands down my fave coffee shop in Denver. Many, if not all, of the baristas were trained at Aviano in Cherry Creek (which is also a great coffee shop). The interior is pretty basic with limited seating so its probably not the kind of place you would want to bring your laptop but theres plenty of free street parking, which is always a bonus. Go there to enjoy the coffee then be on your way.

This isnt much of a general store, it only sells coffee. Wait, what am I saying? This is the PERFECT general store! I initially found it the old fashioned way, by driving down Colfax and seeing the enormous sign reading COFFEE SHOP on top of the building. Though its the sign that brought me in, the flawlessly smooth latte I purchased is what will keep me coming back. The coconut macaroon I got to accompany it was a touch too salty, but lets be honest: its all about the coffee.

Won’t be back for the 3rd time! Extremely rude staff behavior. Just now I purchased a biscuit and, yes it’s 3pm I’m the afternoon and it’s been on the counter for a while, but I expected it to be edible. It was hard and dried out. I took one bite and assumed the staff didn’t realize it had dried out so I returned to the counter and told a gentleman staff member. He looked at me point blank and said, “And what do you want me to do about it?” Yes, they have good coffee, but that’s about it. No customer service.
