Technician sat and small talked with my wife then charged us for the time. Costed $850 dollars to maintenance a door we needed a rekey on. Called and spoke with the office and they had nothing to say about the excessive costs. Paid my bill and will never call again! Beware of companies that charge like this as they are here to make as much as they can off every client. Charged $250 for parts and $550 for labor to install a paddle and cylinder. Literally a few screws, not to mention how awkward my wife felt as the employee flirted with her for hours then charged us for it. I dont recommend!

He was professional, punctual, and efficient with his service as he blasted through jobs like it’s no big deal. Awesome repair, could not get other 2 companys there for 2 to 8 weeks. our manager called me, I called Vortex set an appointment for next day. I was informed it would be the day after. The techs were there fixed the door to normal operation. GREAT JOB!!

Belair Sitework Service called vortex out for a broken door , used them before did the job no complaints . But this time Dan our technician was second to none . Very friendly and very knowledgeable . We are an apartment complex in Boulder and used Vortex for the first time yesterday. They sent a technician out the same day to fix our garage door. Sam Vasquez was a pleasure to work with and stayed until the job was done. He also reprogrammed all of our residents remotes. We will definitely be using Vortex moving forward.

About 18 years ago we used this company and were horribly disappointed at the cost and the service... Sadly, I could not get in touch with the local company I have since used in their place for those 18 years, and called them for service... My work order was very specific! One closer on one door! The technician installed new closers on both front doors without my approval. He claimed my manager authorized it, but my manager vehemently denied that he authorized the additional work. The service charge was also outrageous... My complaint call received no resolution, other than that I will again be at least another 18 years before I use this company again... I will find an alternative or do it myself!

I wish I could give a review. I really do. Vortex was the first company I called for a bid to repair or replace our dock leveler. I was told someone would be out in a day or 2. A week later, I called again. Was told someone would be out that day. I have since gotten 3 bids from other contractors and signed a contract, but havent seen a rep from Vortex yet.Thats why I cant give them a review.

Extremely pleasant on the phone, no nonsense. I called at 10am and had techs on-site at 4pm the same day-Rory and Sam.They arrived exactly on time, were extremely friendly, and completed service quickly and efficiently.As a busy property professional I appreciate having a vendor that is so on-the-ball and responsive. I highly recommend Vortex for the simple fact that they are very direct and easy to work with!

We use them for our warehouse. They are quick and usually always have the parts they need. The last thing we want is a door or bay to be vulnerable for break ins.

I have been using this company for many years and have had much success with them. I will agree that they are more expensive.However, the response time and customer service have been first rate.Stephen was just out this morning and was on time and fixed the programming issue I had very promptly.

Called Vortex to fix a door. Rep came out and told me it was good to go and all seemed in order. A few days later the exact same problem happened so I called Vortex to come back to correct the problem thinking they would own the fact they failed the first time. Got two invoices and apparently it was my fault they dont know what their doing. Charged me $700 to fix a lever on the door. A brand new handle and lock would have been cheaper. Search elsewhere for a vendor that will stand by their work.

Im not one for bad reviews but do not call these guys. Your better off with anyone other than them. Should have listened to the other terrible reviews.

Im a Building Engineer and use these guys all the time. They are my number one go to vendor for any and all types of door repairs. Ive read on some other reviews that they are too expensive but I have not found that they are over priced at all. You get what you pay for, most doors and entrances are heavily used and you want to hire quality repairmen/women when you really need the job done right.They are always quick to respond with lots of insight as to how to fix, repair, and prevent future breakdowns. Never had any issues with a door or entryway breaking down again after they have repaired it and all their work has stood the test of time. I highly recommend their services and even though I can choose from many other local and national vendors in the area, I always prefer Vortex when I need the job done quickly, properly, and without future issues.

Apparently its okay for this company to trespass on private property and start slapping stickers on a private building that has never used their service. Never use this company, they are shady as hell.

Called to get my doors serviced on the business. They did a poor job on all of them (garage doors, main office doors). The locks are still loose in the lock housing and the doors dont seal properly. Had a metal man door replaced into a garage space which took weeks, and they charged a HEAP of money and would never give me a key that worked properly. Called several times to get the key for the door and they tried to charge me for a service call to come out and look at the door and STILL never gave me a working key. They do sloppy work and they are slow and ridiculously expensive. (I am the owner of this property, not some idiot RE agent. Apparently they dont even know who they are working with).

Dont use this company! Their repair guy came and stared at the door for the longest time. After numerous trip to his car and back, he takes apart the push handle. Thereafter, he tells me that it will cost me $490.00 for one small part. If I chose not to replace it, his trip charge is $192.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I had him call his manager because I was outraged! His manager was a character! I told the manager that it was ridiculous to charge a trip charge for an estimate but her told me that they were out here to fix it. Who decides to fix something without knowing the cost? When I was explaining the situation, he tells me that he doesnt do well being yelled at. He tells me to wait and then he orders me to explain yourself... What a PUNK-ASS! I see why this company is so screwed up. The Corporate really needs to evaluate the Manager and FIRE HIS ASS!I will NEVER call this company ever again!

I started a new business and their phone number was on my door. I caled for service, and they sent a tech to replace the door opener. He did a poor job, and did not properly tighten the door he had worked on. After a $1,700 bill, the door started to sag and hit the glass of the second door. I called for service, adn the tech took 3 hours to fix the problem. I then got another bill for $400. I called and wanted to negotiate the bill, since the first tech had caused the problem. They put a lien on my property. If I could give then Zero starts I would.

I have used Vortex Colorado on my retail properties for years and they have always done an excellent job and guarantee their work. They do tend to be a bit more expensive than their competitors.

I need my garage door fixed or replaced, and was considering using this company. After seeing one of their trucks on the road, I no longer am considering using these guys. The driving I saw was hazardous and unsafe and I do not want these guys running over any kids or dogs in my neighborhood.

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen my life ! Stay away from this place !

One of their vehicles nearly ran me off the road on E470, probably doing close to 90 mph.

Be sure to get the quoted half hour rates in writing as they increase based on the time you call and the time service is performed.
