I left for work with old windows and I came home to new ones. They didn’t leave a single trace of them being there either. I had four companies measure and provide me estimates. From beginning to end, Leo and the installation crew were honest, communicated, trustworthy, detailed and hard working! My home was completely transformed with new exterior doors and 26 windows throughout my house. I will definitely re-hire them for my basement windows when the time is right! Also, the product is incredible and the price was very competitive and actually was more affordable for better windows that 2 other companies!

We worked with Leo D. From this company. We started the process in March. The pandemic hit. We started the paperwork in early April. However, we had to have the paperwork redone several times due to wrong address, & wrong style of windows-twice. Signed the contract that was finally correct in early May. The contractors who came out were great except for having to ask several times to wear a mask. The quality of the work was great. However, when we did our walk through our bathroom windows was not tinted as originally discussed. It is now February, our windows were done in late July and we have still received no follow up as to when this will be corrected. On top of that I had to ask several times for a receipt to show we paid. We were Told we would get a warranty and apparently that just comes with the windows purchase but there is in fact no actual warranty paper to read and refer to. Overall, I had to purchase some fake stained glass windows covering to cover the bathroom window and have had zero apology or follow up from not having the correct frosted windows. The service was awful, the quality of the workmanship is great. Not worth it though. We’re currently using another company for the second set of repairs and the communication is much better this far.

We replaced our old aluminum windows and sliding door and after shopping around quite a bit we found CO Window Source was the best value. The installers did a great job and we couldnt believe how quickly they were able to get the windows replaced! We couldnt be happier with the end product!

DONT DO IT! You may think its a good idea, but youll regret it deeply.I wouldnt allow Colorado Window Source anywhere near my house for any reason ever gain - not even if it were on fire and they were the only people there to rescue our family or animals.AVOID Colorado Window Source with every ounce of your energy. This is one of the worst decisions Ive made in my life and Ive made some bad decisions throughout.The first meeting will leave you feeling as if youre in good hands but once they have your deposit, game over. Youre going to get the worst of humanity once youve given them your money.The installers are sloppy, leave messes, dont clean up after themselves, throw tools on furniture, they dont show up on time, fail to follow through, and they lack thoughtfulness and respect, they dont cover anything or protect the paint on walls or the trim, and theyre unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. They do not respect homeowners or your home. This was an epic fail on my part. I should have vetted them better and prevented the installers from ever entering our home.

We had major hail damage to our house and needed 9 windows replaced as part of the damage. We had a great experience with Colorado Window Source! The quality is good, the value is good, and our representative was very responsive with all of our questions. We were very pleased with our experience with them.

They did a great job replacing our old aluminum windows! Very fair pricing compared to other estimates we got. Fast work installing them, too. Only trouble we had was with the city building inspection, which was an issue with the citys process.

We are delighted with our new windows. They were installed in a timely fashion. The price was right. We now have a warmer upstairs than ever before. We will be interested in seeing how much this reduces our heating and A/C bills in the coming year. I am sure this installation will pay for itself. We also love the new modern look. What a nice improvement for our house.

I have been using Colorado Window Source now for many years. They completely finished our house with James Hardie siding, roofing, windows and gutters. It was the most amazing experience! These guys go out of thier way to do a great job. Seamless and we never worried about anything, they are extremely organized and great attention to detail. Recently this week they put windows in a duplex I own and it was quick and precise and they even fixed something I didnt even ask them to do. Love all of the crews, very nice and respectful and you would not even know they worked here it was so clean after they finished, except that we have these beautiful windows. Colorado Window Source installed new windows & a new patio door. The salesman was nice and I felt the pricing was fair.However, I was disappointed at their lack of follow-up. In my opinion, when someone spends over $10,000, that company should at least follow-up with their customer to find out if anything else is needed and to verify satisfaction with the product and the service.On the afternoon of installation, the manager of the crew called one of the installers to say he was coming to my property to inspect the work. He never showed, and no explanation was given as to why not.No one from the company ever asked whether I was satisfied or not.Lastly, I paid the final balance due on the same afternoon of the installation. However, 30 days later, I received an email from the office asking me when they would receive payment. After I provided a copy of my check, which had been cashed by them a month prior, they just said ok and agreed that I didnt owe them anything else. No mention of being sorry for cashing my check--but not recording the payment. Everyone makes mistakes, I dont have a problem with that, but I would have appreciated them apologizing for their mix-up.

I paid over $20,000 for windows and had the most difficult time with them. They were at my house a couple of months ago for a warranty issue and nothing has been done. No follow-up. Havent fixed anything. When they came to install the windows initially one of the windows never arrived and turns out was never able to be made by the company I ordered from so had to go through another company. Were they not notified of this? The sales rep made me feel like I did something wrong. I did not measure and place the order? They also did not respond to my door quote request. I could go on and on. I tried to give them a chance but they have continued to disappoint me.

We just had our windows replaced on Friday (3/4) and could not have been happier we chose Colorado Window Source. Paolo came to give us an estimate in December. He was very personable and professional and answered all of our questions. Our order came in quicker than expected and we booked our install shortly after. The installers arrived right around the time proposed and immediately got to work. Originally, the job was estimated to take about a day and a half - we had 11 windows and a sliding glass door replaced. The installers stayed until the job was finished on Friday. Our overall expectations were exceeded - I highly recommend Colorado Window Source.

I did a lot of research into companies around Denver to replace our rear patio sliding door. I was happy to chose Colorado Window Source based on their high ratings, friendly professional staff, and use of quality products. They stand behind their work and materials as well as are prompt with all appointments/followups.The price was competitive and we truly love our new upgraded door! They are built in Loveland and when completed Tony came out to install it. He is a craftsman with attention to details and quality.I will post followup reports as they continue their one year inspection on the door and installation.A+ all around. I will be looking to these guys for further window upgrades in the near future.

I highly recommend Colorado Window Source! From purchase, to installation, their service is stellar. Theyve got a great team and they care about people. They made sure to address every concern we had and provided solutions along the way. They worked to meet our schedule–which wasnt very flexible–and even coordinated with a third-party contractor that was installing siding on our home so they could get the windows installed at the right time for the best fit.

Jim and Bill did a professional install on 3 windows and a sliding door. They also installed a new screen on another sliding door. They noticed that other sliding door wasnt sliding right. They took the initiative and realigned that door frame, and it works better now than it ever did! They spent an extra 45 mins to make sure that second door is working properly. Outstanding work and customer service.

I spent a very large amount of time interviewing window companies and windows before choosing CWS. They came in with a higher line window (Vanguard) at a lower price!! It almost scared me away (too good to be true?) but they were the real deal. the business model they use is best quality job at lowest possible price. Tisha was extremely patient with my l o n g email and phone communications. I was very nervous as windows are not cheap and this was a good chunk of money for me. Mike came out to measure and we got all the ducks in a row, ordered the windows and set up an install date. The installation crew (Mike again) came out and got down to business. They were fast and professional; cleaned up well after themselves and were conscientious about my property.We had one small problem that was important to me. One casement window opened in the wrong direction. Scott, an owner, REFUSED to accept my final payment until the new window was ordered, manufactured and installed at no extra charge. I am impressed. We plan to replace our porch and basement french doors soon with Vanguard sliding doors. Wanna bet who I will call first!The Vanguard windows are a better quality window. I have noticed that they are MUCH MORE QUIET than the original double pane windows were. I also notice that the heat of the sun through them is noticeably less. I am not sure but i feel that the furnace is not coming on as often now that the November weather is here and when I touch the window frames they are not cold even when it is 30 degrees out. Very happy with these windows and the installer. Do yourself a favor and make them one of the bids you get. Dont go with the companies that you see constantly advertised. They are good windows but FAR more expensive. I think you will be please with Vanguard windows and Colorado Window Source as your installer.

Quality products at reasonable prices, and the showroom gives you the opportunity to really see what you are buying. They have done replacement windows, doors, and siding for us, and their customer service is outstanding. If there are any concerns, they are addressed right away with excellent follow-up to assure satisfaction.

We bought a home that needed new Windows through out. 21 Windows. After meeting with several companys we went with CWS. They did come highly recommend from a coworker but I did not have the same experience. I believe the Windows we chose are decent but the installation was done poorly. I could write a long review explaining all the negative but to the point this company is horrible. From the sales, owners and install team. I had issues/arguments with all of them. As soon as I signed the contract they were different people. The most expensive project in my home remodel and it was the worst experience ever. Everyday I curse these Windows. Please shop elsewhere. Pay a little more and get quality Windows and installers.

After getting a number of quotes, I decided to with Colorado Window Source because they were very informative and to the point. I did not have to deal with pushy salesmen.

After windows getting reinstalled because the first time they were not installed correctly, I am spending the day cleaning my entire house due to massive amount of dust inside and debris outside my house from the work they did. I gave them 2 stars because they did eventually come out and fix the issues. I cannot recommend this company.

We had all the windows in our house (33 windows and a sliding glass door) replaced in 2007 by Colorado Window Source. We selected Amerimax windows, including low-e windows on the west side of the house. After the hail storm in September 2014, we had to have the 6 windows replaced. We called Colorado Window Source to replace these windows. With both the original installation and the recent replacement installation the work was done quickly and professionally and all of our questions and concerns were promptly addressed.Following the original installation in 2007 we immediately noticed that the house was quieter, the drafts coming off the old windows were gone so that we were more comfortable, and our energy bills were significantly reduced, both heating and cooling.

Worst experience with a contractor and company I ever had. Window seals tilted in toward house - unbelievable. Over caulked gaps rather than cutting trim to fit. Caulked over drains that sit in windows to allow for drainage from windows. Didnt caulk nail holes. Never walked around the house for a final inspection. Missed or poorly caulked around several windows. Cracked several interior frames and never replaced caulk. My 8 year old son caulks better. Glass sliding door had large gaps at base. Once I committed to the sale they treated me poorly. The windows actually failed inspection and would have failed again but I decided to do the work myself. Installers told me that the caulk they use lasts forever. The owner never worked with me to try to correct obvious errors and was verbally abusive. The job was NEVER done to my satisfaction. I replaced over 20 windows. This was done in Spring of 2014.

We had 5 windows installed through Colorado Window source. They accommodated our requests, were timely and professional and their owner Scott personally took care of all the paperwork required. The sales person Steve was a pleasure to work with and not too pushy. Gave us a competitive price. Their installers Jim and Bill were patient enough to answer all our questions and took extra care in meeting our HOA requirements. Their Dry Waller - Enrique wasnt up to the mark and they lose a point in my book for that. We plan on using them again to get window work done on one of our rentals.

About 7 years ago Colorado Window Source company replaced windows at my house. I had wonderful experience working with this company:high quality windows, on-time installation. But recently one of my windows got broken, and because I had lifetime warranty with the company, the window was replaced, and Ms, Theresa Fast from production department helped me nicely to get the window, that was broken. I ordered window inserts from a big name home improvement store (the orange one). Over a year later, my installation was incomplete, I had multiple warranty issues I couldnt warranty, and I found out that they had knowingly taken away egress from the bedrooms. Thank goodness I found Colorado Window Source - they pointed out the egress issue. I told them my situation, and they held my hand through the entire process. They helped me deal with the previous installers, came out for the free estimate, waited patiently and answered all of my questions while I fought with the other guys for a couple months, then came out to the house again to make sure they were getting me exactly what I wanted. They listened to my every concern and wish, even calling the manufacturer to get answers for my really obscure questions. All of the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, and I got exactly what I expected - amazing windows!!!The installation went great too. They fought for 3 hours with one crooked door frame to make sure my patio door was installed properly, and they even took extra care to remove the old windows in good shape so I could return them. I learned a lot from the installers - they too gave me the information and confidence I needed to finish my fight with the big name place. A few months later, I had water come in one of the windows when it rained, and they came out to the house right away, no questions asked. The installer found a crack in my siding I hadnt seen and sealed it for me.By far the best investment I have ever made. Full windows and doors from CWS were only a few thousand dollars more than the inserts from the other place, and were triple-pane and energy star rated for 9000 ft elevation in CO, which are two things the other guys said didnt exist. I plan to call CWS when I need new siding. Best home improvement experience Ive ever had!

I had a hail claim and met with Steve about our windows. They were very easy to work with and provided us with an awesome window that priced comparably with what the insurance company was paying which was a huge worry for us. They were knowledgable and courteous which we appreciated. I had some poorly installed windows that where not part of my claim which needed work. The windows were measured wrong originally and I asked for a quote to redo the trip and flashing on the outside. The Rep stated that was not the appropriate action that needed to be done as the windows were the wrong size and covering up the gap would be considered poor workmanship and they would not attempt something like that. It would eventually lead to leaks etc. I stopped and thought for a second and came to the conclusion that these guys had a very strong pride of workmanship and instead of doing whatever to get my business they took a stand and I totally respected that. Other window companies that I had look at my windows all said they would redo some trim and add caulk to make me happy. I hired Colo Window Srce and the windows look awesome and we are very satisfied with our decision.

We recently purchased 28 window coverings provided by CO Window Source. The design advice we received from David Wienecke was perfect and the installation from Deno Burgess could not have gone better, including removing all the debris.

We had a custom sliding patio door installed by CWS a year and a half ago. The project was difficult because of significant damage that existed from water leakage and carpenter ants and CWS did address those issues well. However, the patio door was not installed correctly; I discovered this as I could see the door leaking on my exposed subfloor waiting for repair with a flooring company. CWS did respond quickly to that and I ended up having the Amerimax engineers down to review the door and state that the door was not installed properly; they corrected the issue. I was livid the door was not installed properly and caused further delays on finishing the project. Additionally, a leaking backdoor was what lead to the significant damage previously there and cost us an extra $6k to repair. If our subfloor were not exposed, we would of been in the same situation in a few years and having to make costly repairs to our home again.Additionally, as part of the project, our entire back deck was removed and we agreed to have CWS install a new Trex deck for us (before we knew the door was not installed correctly). Scott and his designer/installer came out for that and wasted an hour of our time designing our deck and then we never heard from them again. I even sent numerous follow-up emails to get the quote and get scheduled to have our deck installed in just a couple months. Instead, we were left with the giant mud pit they created as part of all of this and ended up installing a paver patio on our own.Now, we are having all the windows in our home replaced and I didnt even give CWS a chance. I learned from our experience with CWS and found a company that only installs Amerimax windows and keeps the same installation crew on salary; no random contractors. Also, the sales guy, Chris, at CWS told me I would need to replace my plantation blinds with new windows, which is a lie. My current window installer said that is not the case; CWS sells blinds so they would of made me replace expensive blinds I wouldnt need to in order to make an extra buck.

Several years after our windows were installed by CWS we were having trim work done on our house and our contractor noticed that almost all of our windows had no insulation around them. The space between the window frame and the stud was left open when the new windows were installed leaving the 1/2 drywall inside of our home and 1/2 trim on the exterior of the home as the only barrier between the elements outside and the inside of our house. Whats the purpose of new windows if during the installation process these spaces are going to be left wide open? Good question. I called CWS and spoke to the owner of the company and when I explained the situation he noted that the installers use an insulating gun that only allows them to fill gaps that are 3/8 or larger on the outside in order to allow the nozzle to fit. Unfortunately, most of the exterior spaces are smaller than that dimension. When I pressed him on the subject asking why dont they use a different nozzle or process for filling these critical spaces with insulation he became agitated and said hed send an installer over with $70 worth of insulating foam spray and fill all of the gaps. Why dont they do that in the first place? Great question.We ended up having our contractor who was doing the trim replacement insulate around all the windows that the CWS installers failed to do. The windows themselves appear to be OK but it really shows the poor commitment to quality and poor workmanship that CWS delivers. When youre spending thousands of dollars on this home upgrade Id expect the company to ensure these important details during the installation process are taken care of otherwise it really defeats the purpose of new windows when you have cold air streaming into your home around those uninsulated areas. In the end if youre looking for replacement windows in your home my opinion is to do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
