I cannot imagine giving this wonderful shop any thing less than five stars. Places like these are becoming fewer and fewer, and thanks to the very hardworking people at Turn of the Century Antiques, we are fortunate to still come across amazing pieces of history. I am very proud to recommend anyone to stop in to this amazing establishment. I also highly encourage anyone reading this review to check out Rachel Hoffmans YouTube channel. It is beyond informative and extraordinarily entertaining. How she manages to run her shop and continue her YouTube channel is beyond me and I sincerely appreciate the hard work that she put into all of her endeavors.

One of the best dealers/shops in antique dolls/toys today. Friendly, informative, and not just in it for the money, these people love what they do. You can feel safe shopping and spending here. Wonderful dolls and antiques, and the owner and staff are friends to all and willing to help educate and share their info with others. All around great business.

This is the most amazing antique-Doll shop I have come across. I have purchased several nice items from them off their Ruby Lane Shop with the same name and have never been disappointed. They know what they are doing and do not deal in low quality merchandise and junk. I wish I could give Rachel and this shop 100 stars!!

This is one of the finest antiques shops in the country - I wish I lived closer! They offer the highest quality items, including rare dolls, and are always available to provide as much information as possible about their items. They also seem to be very innovative, since they run Facebook Live events and a virtual doll group, as well, which is incredibly helpful if you dont live in the Denver area. Highly recommend!

Over the years I have bought several antique dolls from this shop, both at doll shows and through their shop on Ruby Lane. Meeting Rachel and her mom at their booth at shows and me asking a zillion questions, they have always been knowledgeable and gracious in answering questions and offering information which helps in furthering my education in collecting antique dolls. Many conversations have been both through email and phone calls, and Rachel has been so easy to work with (and patient) that I have complete confidence in purchasing from them. Turn of the Century Antiques is my go to choice for both a great selection of dolls and a trustworthy experience - whether you are an experienced collector or a newbie to collecting dolls, you wont be disappointed in doing business with this shop. Thank you, Rachel, for all your help & kindness - it is appreciated!

Seller beware!!! I recently acquired some dolls. I came across this companys website and watch their YouTube presentation. Their sales pitch was encouraging and I thought I was coming to the right place . I have zero knowledge of these type of dolls. I did as requested and started to send the email of the pictures . I hadnt even finished sending the pictures of the dolls and was saving some of the best ones for last . it wasnt even a minute later and I was shot down. They simply were not interested and could not make money on the dolls, she wrote back. Maybe they should update their website and YouTube video.

I stopped in recently and the shop had some really nice dolls. Beautiful French and German dolls that you just don’t see everyday. But, I felt like the woman who greeted me (the owner?) didn’t want to help me. She wasn’t rude - but also not helpful. It was disappointing and I left without buying anything.

All I can say is that this is one of the very best antique stores in Denver. For those people who left bad revues your bar must be so high that no store would be able to satisfy you. The staff is always welcoming and its amazing how much info they give out to people for free. Top notch all the way.

I came in not knowing anything about antiques. the ladies were extremely kind and very helpful. they answered all my questions and gave me very fair and honest opinions and quotes on some dolls i brought in to figure out what they were worth. I checked with other dealers and turn of the century honestly gave me some of the best prices. very polite, very courteous, very professional. The young lady behind the counter, who handled the majority of the transaction, i found to be exceptionally knowledgeable and charming.

I have had several interactions with this amazing doll shop and its people in the past year. I am not a newcomer to dolls, having been a collector for over 35 years. In that time I have seen all types of doll people. The newbies, the oldies like me and the ones seeking answers to a doll left to them by their Grandma. This shop is not only knowledgeable but they are quick to respond to questions and freely give of their time to educate and encourage new generations of doll collectors. It has been a complete pleasure and I am looking forward to many more interactions with this great shop. Thank you Rachel for all that you do to encourage us to keep collecting and to keep educating the doll buying public.

My name is Emily Goldman. As a teacher, doll artist & enthusiast, I cannot believe that there is even one negative review, regarding Turn of the Century Antiques. It is the most charming shop I have EVER been to, and I’ve been to many! I have been here more than once. Not only do they have a very large, eclectic selection of items, ranging from silver to furniture, and of course dolls; but, the hospitality here is ‘bar none’!!! Rachel really takes you under her wing and while she is touring you through the shop, it’s as if time stops for a moment and you’ve entered into another dimension of childlike bliss....and moments like that truly are the highlights of life when you look at the big picture of things. So, thank you Rachel, for allowing me to come and “escape” from reality, even if only for a moment. I truly treasure when I’m able to come to my own little “Neverland” as I like to call it.When in Denver, put this on your list! You won’t regret it!! And on the same side of the street, just a little ways down is a fantastic little Columbian spot where you can enjoy a mango tea and fantastic dessert, while reminiscing about your adventure in the doll shop....as Nike would say, ‘just do it!!’ 😉❤️

I appreciate the quality of the merchandise in this store and find it refreshing that there is such detail to insure quality. Most antique stores consist of junk and newer items, this is truly an antique store. I also appreciate for such small quarters that I am never pushed, rushed or felt like I couldnt just spend the day looking--cause that is what it takes to see all thats there. Kim

Rachel was extremely rude for literally no reason. I called the store first to see if I could get a doll appraised, where she told me very condescendingly that they need photos emailed first. Rachel told me she would get back to me shortly. About an hour later I called again and she was extremely rude and hung up on me before I was done asking questions, because she was busy. She immediately emailed me and said they would not buy my Grace Putnam doll. Would never suggest doing business with this woman.

I love Rachel Hoffman and Turn of the Century Antiques!! I recently brought into my home 4 dolls that I learned about from Rachel on FB. They are all black dolls—-3 by Judith Condon and one by Nancy Bruns of Brunswood Dolls. They are unique additions to my predominantly black doll collection. There is a shop in Denver where dolls gather. On hand-crafted instruments they play sweet melodies, summoning passersby to step inside. As if creating an elaborate collage, each doll is laboriously and painstakingly arranged. A canopy of dolls watches vigilantly over browsing clientele, their very presence evoking a sense of tranquility. Jumeaus pose sublime in billowy, velvet robes, Kewpies await an unsuspecting heart, Bru twins promenade to a ballerinas serenade, and a menagerie of stuffed animals await a childs touch. Rachels warm and generous nature and unique perspective on lifes ever changing kaleidoscope echoes brilliantly throughout her client relationships, Ruby Lane interviews, and community events. With layers of gilt wrapped around her heart, she values all of her clients and treats each person as if they were the guest of honor attending an elegant Victorian soiree. Upon entering Turn of the Century Antiques in 2015, I was warmly greeted by Diane who took a picture of me holding a $17000.00 Jumeau doll (which is currently my profile picture on Facebook). Stanley is kind and helpful and his packing is absolutely superb (he also sings and plays well). I met Rachel a few months ago and she exuded warmth and kindness. Personable, courteous, professional, and educated, she spent hours showing me the automatons and Jumeau dolls. She also gave me a tour of the shop. She did a live video of me and posted it on her page and the stores page to celebrate my first Jumeau and automaton purchase. And, she took a picture of both of us together, holding the doll clothes and wished me a safe and wonderful trip to Las Vegas, which she also posted on the stores page. She made me feel so special and treated me like a queen. Over the past few months, she has given me free dolls, clothes, and French Fashion accessories, all of which are museum quality. Even my fiance, who could care less about dolls, loved the ballerina automaton and wanted me to play her over and again. I highly recommend Turn of the Century Antiques.

With a personality much akin to a turtleneck sweater made from treebark. The owner and incidently the youngest crabby old lady in the world is good for really only one thing as I see, it thats to let you know that shes the president of something or other.
