What a gem! Great food, way better than you would expect from a diner. Burgers are excellent, homemade fries are great, and the shakes are delicious! Definitely try the BBQ- they smoke it all on site. They had a special brisket sandwich that was fantastic. The staff is super nice and very attentive. Its also a great place to watch the sunset from the patio.

Moonlight diner was close to Denver Airport which made it the spot to grab breakfast between dropping off our sister for her early flight and our afternoon flight. The shiny silver building was super cute and retro, and the inside decor is exactly what youd expect of a 50s style diner. We unfortunately ate outside due to Covid so we did not get a chance to experience the full 50s effect, but from walking in twice for the bathroom, we could tell the ambiance was definitely there.Unfortunately the food taste wasnt. I got the French toast and he got the Colorado breakfast platter. My hashbrowns seemed to be made with no seasoning at all while everything on his plate was over salted. My french toast had little vanilla or cinnamon flavor at all and were only saved by dousing them in syrup. The breakfast potatoes from his meal were by far the best thing either of us had.Not to soon afterwards in the airport, we were both running to the restrooms for digestive issues which made us cut it close to making our plane. It could have been a coincidence if it was just me, but the fiancé almost never has stomach problems, so it made it pretty clear it was probably the food. But as he said - what else can you expect from a cheap diner 🤷

Great little Diner, plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. Couldnt pass up the most interesting thing on the Menu, called The Kitchen Sink. (as in everything but the). It did not disappoint, although the green Chile sauce may be too spicy for some. Just fine for anyone who prefers medium salsa or hotter sauces.Loved this breakfast, and plenty of other great breakfast options all day.

I had 3-meat BBQ with brisket, pulled pork and Turkey each was moist and juicy especially the turkey, it came with beans and fries and a biscuit. They gave a delicious bbq sauce but each meat tasted so delicious without it. My girl had steak with a vegetable medley and hash browns. She ate all my beans and some of my BBQ, I said it was delicious. We are staying over night so we saved some of the BBQ and steak for midnight feeding. The QR code was at the table Im hoping its the menu for you to view it.

A friend had a layover in Denver that turned into an overnight stay, so I brought her to Moonlight for breakfast. I myself had never been there but Google populated it, had great ratings, so why not.I can now see what the hype was about! The diner is situated right off the main street, looking over at the mountains. (We had a window booth.) It was SLAMMED when we arrived, waiting 25min for that booth, but it was absolutely worth it. The waitress who served us was super sweet. The food was AMAZING, hot & fresh. Proportions were huge for the amount you paid. Quality, superb. I will absolutely be back.

This was an excellent find. First of all Maribel was such a sweet hostess. She did everything she could to serve us. In addition the food was excellent. Its hard to find a good rueben. It was VERY meaty and well worth the price. The kids had griiled cheese which had two healthy peices of cheese. The atmosphere was great as a 50s diner. Worth going out of your way. We will stop again. Finally I have read other reviews. It seems like they probably couldnt be happy anywhere!!!! So please try this place.

My experience was unusual to the average visit. I placed an order for takeout over the phone. When I arrived, I tried to pay with a discover card. They told me they didnt accept this form of payment but that was the only form of payment I had with me at the time. The manager came out and let me have the food on good faith I would come back and pay. Above and beyond service, they did not need to give me that meal for free. (Thank you!)As for the food- really good! The breakfast burrito was visually pleasing as well as tasteful. I got a shortstack on the side that was fluffy. I will definitely be back.

We were seated right away. We looked at the menus and decided. Then waited 10 minutes in an pty restaurant with servers avoiding eye contact. We left and on the way out one gal said, no one helped you? Seriously you watched us waiting and people went by seeing we had nothing but menus, no drinks indicating someone came around. And let me tell you about insane prices. $7.99 for biscuits and gravy with another $7.99 for hash browns. That is $16 for something that costs much less. Usually $4.99. so yeah never coming here again.

Staying nearby on vacation and family had just dined the night before singing the highest praises. We wanted to experience the diner experience and apparent great food, but upon arriving with 5 small children and four adults they made every excuse they could not to seat us. There was a large circular table that looked perfect for us, you can even see in the pictures posted on their site, but they assured us they couldn’t fit all the plates (not people). If you have a large party, don’t even try. Business is good without having to accommodate families. I would not have been as insulted if they had asked to split us up regardless of the adequate tables, but they went out of their way to assure us they couldn’t handle the group without a long wait despite the many empty tables.

The food was what you would expect from a diner with a 50s theme in the airport hotel district. I honestly didnt expect much but I feel it could have been a bit better. Prices are not too bad and if you are staying at one of the nearby hotels it is within a walk which has its own appeal. I got a burger ordered medium yet like most places in Colorado it was over cooked. If you arent looking for more than a greasy spoon or a close bite it works.

I was disappointed after reading the positive reviews. Had to wait over a half hour for our food. Other people that came in after were served before us. I had to flag down staff to get refills on coffee and water.Moonlight breakfast sandwich the eggs where supposed to be over medium however it was over easy. The cheese was just laid on the bread not even melted.Once we were done eating had to wait for our check and only got it by asking for it.Girls restroom was not much better. Trash overflowing and the toilet paper rolls had no covers on them so it was easier to take the roll off to get the toilet paper otherwise it would fall off.Overall I would say that staff need to pay more attention to all of the customers and even if it is not your section you could still check in and ask if everything is ok or if something needs refilled. The place is cute but nothing special. It was a little busy but that is no excuse.Would not recommend wish I could but customer service is big for me and its not here.

So this place advertises a ribeye steak and eggs. The steak that we got was not a ribeye, when we asked the manager about that he said that they can substitute any steak and that the menu says steak and eggs. But we reread the menu with the manager and it did indeed say ribeye steak and eggs. The manager did not offer any discount or any explanation and said that they could substitute anything they want. This is it an example of poor customer service.I ordered the artichoke skillet. The potatoes were very old and hard and the the artichoke and cheese were not very appetizing. This meal was a failure.

To preface this review I want to say that I review many places and rarely give a bad review. That said, the food here is way overpriced and not good. The cheese was not melted on my loaded tots appetizer and there was even times I bit into a cold bite. The rueben was not good, meat was very thick sliced, no sign of 1000 island dressing. The service was great and I probably could have sent the food back but based on what I received I wasnt optimistic it would turn out any better.I politely ate what I could and left but if you are traveling I would say spend your money elsewhere. I came here based on the reviews other people had posted but my experience was very different... the wait time was long but we expected that since its a Sunday, the waitress was kind and courteous and the only reason im giving this place one star, I ordered the Denver omelette which came with hash browns. Me and my husband watched as other peoples food came before us (even though we were there before) and as soon as i eat the omelette, the chicken is bland and dry and peppers were barely cut and my hash browns were cold. I asked for a different meal cause if you mess up chicken i have little hope for the same thing being better. Asked for the french toast with sunny side egg but it came with scrambled instead. Wont be coming back here im guessing other guests dont mind flavorless bland diner fare just go to ihop or dennys its cheaper.
