Chocolate ice cream with mezcal!! How or why I’ve never thought of this, I don’t know, but it’s freaking delicious! Lots of inventive flavors, plus traditional ones! Aguas frescas, paletas, malteadas...such a little gem!

I tried the rose and queso as a split scoop, and they were both flavorful and not something you encounter in most ice cream shops. I will definitely be back to try more flavors.

I had Mexican chocolate and the chocolate peanut butter mezcal ice cream. It is rich, deeply flavorful, and the owner is friendly and eager to share the different flavors. Strongly recommend!

Okay. So I gave this place two stars only because the staff is very nice and helpful. The ice cream is unique for sure but that doesnt mean it is good. It is not. I read in other reviews about how much their kids loved this ice cream. My kids took two bites and threw it away. There was almost no sugar in the ice cream we tried (chocolate and mango). I would like to meet the kids that love this ice cream. They probably read The Economist for bedtime stories. I suspect everyone likes this place because they have been socially programmed to. Platte Park is that kind of place. Its health conscious, multicultural, environmentally responsible ice cream. Take a pass.

Such a lovely ice cream shop! We went in after taco Tuesday next door and the young man working was so friendly! He let us try several different samples (without making us feel guilty) and recommended some of his favorite flavors and was eager to explain the unique ones to us. The ice cream was wonderful! So many unique flavors not to be found in any other shop in Denver (such as purple corn!). I got the Oreo and avocado split in a taco cone (only 2 dollars on Tuesday!)-both were so creamy and absolutely delicious. My friend didnt realize you could get a taco cone, and they let her switch to one, even after filling up her initial cone. They then proceeded to give to us free of charge as to not waste it!Everyone who works here is delightful and their ice cream is delicious-a must try!

Love this place. One of the best ice cream shops in Denver. Some really amazing flavors you can’t find at other shops and a really good consistency. Have gone now 3-4 times since it has opened and it has been consistently good. Look forward to going back!

Ive been here a couple times and I would say that the ice cream is very average. The staff was great and very helpful and does not mind giving you as many samples as you wouldMy issue with it is both times that Ive gone my ice cream has been I see. When I mean I see Im talking about that taste where it has been made slightly defrosted and refrozen. Not very good when you have ice cream like that. We have a lot better Selections in Denver than this place.

Super friendly staff and great fun flavors. Like that they have a rotating flavor list with some interesting flavors. You also try as many flavors as you want which is helpful because it can be hard to decide which one.

La Chupaflor has unique, creamy flavors that taste like heaven! The staff are so friendly and the ambience is warm even in the Denver winter. Ice cream worth freezing for!

A great Mexican-styled neveria to have a nice treat with friends or loved ones. It has a great variety of flavors and coffee as well. My wife and I love coming here, especially one those hot summer nights for a delicious dessert.

Not sure why this place is so popular ... As everyone knows, tastes differ ... My kids and I just didnt dig it. We still havent found anything better than Bonnie Brae Ice Cream in town.

This is seriously my favorite! The ice cream flavors are amazing! Some super unique and some basic, so you have everything. All are very flavorful and delicious, AND you can get ice cream tacos!!

Wow. Ive had little man ice cream. Ive had my closer to home inside scoop. This place has weirder and arguably better ice cream than either. They all have their merits, but do yourself a favor and get an ice cream taco on Tuesdays to compliment the taco Tuesdays at Adelitas

Maybe the best ice cream in Denver. Delicious, creamy and so flavorful! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. Try the Mexican chocolate or gansito.

Ice cream tacos are a delight. The piña ice cream is magnificent. I recommend everything at La Chupaflor without reservation.

My favorite ice cream place! The tres leches ice cream is my favorite. I havent had a chance to try all the flavors. Definitely will be coming here to get my cravings.

Outstanding. The mezcal sherbet with crickets and tajin was so tasty and complex. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. I cant say enough good things about this place.

Chocolate Oreo is deelish. Interesting flavor choices inspired by Mexico - Queso, Margarita (21+), Sweet Potato. Highly recommend.

A group of my friends and I were having drinks at Palenque Mezcaleria with a view through the window in the shared wall into the ice cream shop. Around 9:40, a large group of people left, and we walked the ten feet to the Chupaflor window, but the door was locked, though there were people inside. There were five of us, 20 minutes before close, with the hopes of getting ice cream, but the employee inside and the few customers she was ringing out were inside, laughed as she gave us the no no finger wave. Why? I guess they dont want our patronage. We were excited to try La Chupaflor, but none of us are ever coming back.

We came here after a concert at the Levitt Pavillion since they are open until 10p and I love trying new ice cream places.Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and were helped immediately after they were done helping other customers. They have so many yummy flavors and it took 5 tastings to finally decide which flavors to order. Also, they use actual silverware to give out tasters instead of plastic spoons.Their prices are really reasonable: Kids scoop $2.75, single $3.75, waffle cone is a $1 upgrade. I cant remember the other prices.One of my sons ordered bananatella in a strawberry waffle cone, my other son ordered avocado in a strawberry waffle cone, my boyfriend ordered a kids scoop in a sugar cone, and I ordered a kids scoop of half queso and half tres leches in a cake cone. When they serve you a cone, they stuff ice cream into the cone and then place the scoop of ice cream on top. Bonus!I know that queso sounds weird but its one of those oddly good flavors. I think it is made with queso fresco as it had cheese pieces in it.Not only do they have wonderful ice cream flavors, are open later, have amazing customer service, they also pay attention to details. Also, their scoops are huge. The kids scoop is the size of a regular scoop at your typical ice cream places.

I finally got to try La Chupaflor tonight after an amazing dinner at Palenque Mezcaleria next door (wow!). This is a super-cute neveria (ice cream shop) with some really unique flavors. I tried the Honey Lavender which was really delicious but I landed on Cajeta (think caramel) and Queso (think cheesecake) which were perfect together. I cant wait to come back!

The staff is extremely friendly and the ice cream is delicious. I works recommend getting the single scoop but they will split it into 2 flavors.
