What a great experience. I wanted to purchase everything! I settled for a complete set of Victorinox knives and multiple uniforms. It was worth the journey. This will be my go to spot.

This place is excellent! They always have what I need or they can get it within a few days. Joe is very helpful. Always clean always organized always stocked well with everything I need.

Went to get my favorite chef knife sharpened. they made it like new. but also got an impromtu master class on how to do it myself. These guys are awesome and very generous with their time and knowledge.

This place was awesome I came in looking for a housewarming gift. They didnt have anything for who I was wanting to buy for at the time but now I have to budget for some cool industrial kitchen items that I didnt even know I could purchase locally. These guys are incredible!I had been putting off getting my knives sharpened for a long time. My kitchen knives were dangerously dull when I finally decided to pay someone to put a new edge on.I searched for someone to do it and found the Knife guys, and choose them because of location. I was going to be in that area of town the next day and figured it would be convenient.It was better than convenient! I walked in and they were super friendly and super knowledgeable. I brought in 3 knives and instantly the guy recognized one and said, “This one your favorite?”It was! But they can tell that sort of things because these guys are EXPERTS!The next day I picked up the knives and they were razor sharp. Having sharp knives again has totally changed my cooking experience for the better.Bonus: They’ve got a bunch of cool gizmos and gadgets to buy in shop. Great for the serious home cook.

These guys know what they are doing with any kind of kitchen knife you give them. They are true professionals. We dont trust our knives to anyone else. They are very reasonably priced and we dont have to go very often at all because they do such a fantastic job. Highly recommend without reservations!

I brought three knives in to be sharpened. A Dalstrong barong chef knife, a Gerber LMF II survival knife and my edc Benchmade mini griptilian. All three were sharpened perfectly and the price of $5 a blade can’t be beat. Very happy I found these guys.

I had someone else sharpen my knives and they were bad. I took them to The Knife Guys to fix them up, which they did in one day and they even gave us a lesson on using the honing steel so we dont have to come in as frequently. Every person I have talked to has been nice, helpful, and really knows their knives.EDIT: HAHAHA! As I was typing this review, my husband was prepping dinner. I heard him yell, Ouch! Im going to need a Band Aid. Excellent job, Knife Guys!

The rumors are true, these guys are the real deal. Ive gone in for everything from Knife Sharpening to fixing a broken blade tip, adding serrations to a pocket knife & even going as far reprofiling a Spyderco Wharncliffe PM2. Love this place. Great guys with a really nice shop. I have an entry level knife (Victorinox Fibrox) which I took to get sharpened by the knife guys.I dropped it off on Thursday right before close and my knife was ready by the next day. I wondered how the new edge would compare to the factory edge but let me tell you, its just as sharp, if not sharper, than when I first got it.My knife got beat up a bit in my drawer and they did a great job of sharpening the edge as well as fixing the tip which was a bit damaged.Very happy to have such skilled folks around.I highly recommend some love to these skilled tradesmen and their art!Oh and did I mention that it was just $5???

INCREDIBLE COMPANY AND STAFF. I dropped a work knife off to them to be sharpened and the knife looked and performed better than the very first day i got it! Also there knife sharpening rates are better than any one else in Denver. These guys were extremely friendly and efficient and on top of that got my knife back to me in less than 24 hours. The Knife Guys are the very best at customer service and I will be returning here for all my knife and cooking needs. 👍

The gentlemen in here are the best and most skilled. I had a Damascus pocket knife with a messed up bevel. Knife Guys honed it back to the magnificent piece of art its supposed to be.

Pricing is on point (paid $5 a knife) and they did an amazing job. Turn around time is super quick as well, I was able to pick my knives up the next day.Highly recommend!

They do such a good job sharpening my knives. Super friendly service. They would’ve had them done same day but I couldn’t get back in time from my errands. My knives felt very sharp as well and they fixed some bent tips.

Perfect knife sharpening! Can’t be called the Knife Guys and not know your product! I highly recommend them! They were personable, inexpensive, and had a quick turnaround. My knives were scratched and improperly sharpened at Williams Sonoma. The Knife Guys restored the blade by a “re-rocking” and have earned a return customer!

Friendly staff and great work. Fair prices and fast turnaround (overnight). One of the very few places Ive found that properly sharpens knives instead of charging you some crazy fee to run it through a consumer grade electric sharpener.

Great place to sharpen your knives! They also look like they have a great selection of various kitchen ware. I went in with 5 knives; Serrated, Butcher and Chef. My Chefs knife was so dull it felt like the tip of a spoon. They were all basically brand new when I picked them up! I cant wait to use them when I get home. They are also really affordable; 5 knives for $20. The only thing is they never called me when they were done. The gentlemen there said they would be done Monday but never specified when so I assumed they would call. I ended picking them up on Tuesday morning and they were ready to go. Overall, nice guys, great quality, affordable. I will be returning!

Absolutely incredible place to get your knives sharpened! They have the best prices, sharpen your knives in one day, and they are clearly experts. They re-tipped one of my knives that had a bent tip and you cant even tell it wasnt made that way. My knives are so sharp and on top of it all, every employee was so nice and friendly. Dont be fooled by the strange location, these guys are the best!

Wow is all I can say! I have a Wusthof knife that is my pride and joy. It needed a good sharpening before the holidays. There was also a small nick in the blade. Knife guys got that out and my knife is the sharpest its ever been. Even sharper than from the factory. For the price charged and fast turn around time, I dont think I will ever sharpen a knife myself again.

I take my knives here to be sharpened and they always do a great job. The guys are very nice (even though I am not a food professional.) I get treated with the same respect whether Im there to pick up a $4 set of tongs, or to buy a nice knife. If you like to cook, this store is fun just to look around. They have some used bigger equipment and also a nice selection of smaller newer items.

This place is a neighborhood gem that has saved me so many times with odd miscellaneous items I need last minute, and helpful staff. Sometimes Ive thought what Im looking for is too random, but called ahead. Not only did they have the items, they helped list out the options and prices. With the fairly habitual turnover of business on Polk St I hope they stay around for a long time!

Over the years, I have done a lot of business with them. I bought my first knife set, my wifes first (and second) knife set, and we continually return for gloves, sharpening, chefs coats/pants, new knives, etc. This is without a doubt the best place I have ever been for this service! I was really pleased with the service that I received and the quality of the sharpening job that was done on my knives. I had received the recommendation to try Knife Guys from one of the instructors and Cook Street where I took a Spanish Cooking class and I thought the recommendation was spot on. I dont have expensive knives but I try to take good care of them and the work that was done satisfied my picky nature.

I am a chef a local hotel. I literally have called and asked for service for the property I operate 7 times, never getting a return call. I just hung up with the person at that answered the phone. I asked for the manager, said he was not hear. I explained my situation about the 7th call, he said - there is nothing I can do about that! He said, I will have, whoever, call you back. I asked, will he get back to me today? Well, I cant guarantee that. I said, wow, you guys must be really busy. Well ya, we are. But sir I said, After 7 calls you think someone can get me service? He is busy. I responded, I am so glad to you are so busy that you can pick and chose your clientele. He responded, Now, dont think you are going to talk to me like that. I cut him off and said - I will not need a call back and hung up on him.Rudest people I have ever spoken too. They need a book on the fundamentals of service - because theres sucks BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

I brought a pocket knife here to get sharpened. The good news is they sharpened it for $4, the bad news is they did a terrible job. This thing wont even cut paper..... I can draw the blade across the palm of my hand without the slightest scratch..... They took quite a bit of material off, and the angles are off as well. I understand they specialize in kitchen knives, I did call though and they said they could do a pocket knife no problem.Do not bring your pocket knife here guys. They will do more harm than good.

I would only get my kitchen knives sharpened here.Brought my camp knife in and asked them to put a Scandinavian grind on my camping knife(like my old mora kniv) and every guy at the counter said I didnt need to do that and the convex grind on my knife should be good. 5 camping trips later and it struggles to cut paracord. The factory edge held longer and thats pathetic. Will come back for my kitchen knives but go somewhere else for specialty knives.

I have a Bark River Aurora in Crucible 3V with a convex grind, and two Gransfors Bruks axes, also with convex grinds on them. Bring in convex grinds to most anywhere around, and they wont touch them, or theyll try to put a bevel on them. Not only do The Knife Guys do an excellent job sharpening my blades, theyve taken out some serious nicks (read as dents), from some less axe capable friends of mine. Wont take my blades anywhere else.

They managed to regrind a Shun knife I had managed to damage pretty badly on frozen meat. Im impressed at the quality of work, friendliness of staff and the very affordable price.

They take care of your knives the way you would if you had the time.
