Quite possibly my favorite layout for a coffee shop in Denver! Beautifully designed, tons of natural light and wonderful open feel. Come by and try a cup of middle state or novo coffee, you wont regret it!

Fantastic coffee shop! Great selection of coffees from Middle State and Sweet Bloom (both of which are some of the best, if not the best, roasters out there). They know what theyre doing whether pulling a perfect shot, or doing a pour over. And theyre very helpful if you have any coffee questions.

This place had the best chai Ive ever had, with very friendly staff.

The brothers who run this shop are phenomenal people. They are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee itself makes this one of my top shops to go to! Not only is the drip coffee outstanding but they make wonderful lattes as well!

Matt is the best male performer on all of Santa Fe. Great coffee, slick service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes coming back a no brainer. The owner pours himself into this business, and its evident every time I come in. Bravo.

Good coffee, delicious homemade poptart!

I’m from out of town and just happen to drive by this shop, I actually didn’t catch the turn on time but went through the trouble of looping around (it’s on a one way street) it was amazing!! I’ve had coffee from all around the United States and this is up there for sure. The espresso was perfect literally nothing I would change about it. I also got a cortado for my girlfriend and she loved it. I hope this shop makes it through this hard time it deserves attention

LOVE this coffee shop! Great vibe, and I love sticking it to Starbucks too. They have high quality coffee and a selection of tasty snacks. The staff are very friendly and the service is speedy! My only complaint is that the custom-made furniture is too tall; clearly the builder sized it for a tall man rather than an average sized woman, which makes it uncomfortable to hang out for too long.

Matt and Christina are the best! Had a genuine conversation with the owner! Malibar ginger tea is off the handle! Great place - thanks!

Just visited Sessions Coffee for the first time this past weekend. I loved everything about it. Nice and cozy atmosphere, friendly service, & they made me an amazing latte! Ill definitely be back! Oh and make sure you try the vegan, freshly made pop-tarts!

Solid coffee place off of Santa Fe near Mississippi. Fun, chill place with a solid reputation and crowd. I enjoyed checking it out very much. Lots of people just sitting there working and chilling. Love that. Plenty of free parking just out in front. Easy to get to and worth checking out.

Great vibe. Very relaxing environment. Music is really good too(mellow rap with some solid bass). Also relatively cheap compared to other coffee places. Give it a shot.

Im typically averse to brand loyalty but Matt at Session has won me over. Ive been coming here since just after the opening and still go at least a couple times a week. Matt has clearly has love and passion for what he does and hes in a class of his own. This is about as local as you can get, and he makes sure to serve from a local roaster as well which I totally dig. Easily one of Colorados best, if not on an even larger scale.

They have really good single origin pour overs. They are friendly not too smug about their coffee even though it is very good. I would recommend this coffee to anyone that is looking for a third wave coffee shop. Overall a good place for a great cuppa coffee. Enjoy

Session Coffee is my favorite spot for coffee in Denver, and that is saying a lot because Denver has a slew of amazing coffee houses. The coffee and the food are both excellent and the atmosphere is conducive to both enjoying quiet conversation or getting work done.I also love the two brothers who own and run it. Matt and Brad are both welcoming, genuine and kind to everyone who walks through their doors. I feel lucky to have them in the neighborhood. If you are in the area you owe it to yourself to give Session Coffee a try.

Excellent coffee. Im a big fan of Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters and Session if the only place that seems to be serving it up. I like the artisan poptarts and the wood/industrial atmosphere. Pricey, but it seems like $3 is the going rate for a cup of coffee nowadays. The service is friendly and straight-forward. Its a quiet place with not a lot of foot traffic, so coffee is more than likely going to not be ready-brewed before you come in. That saying, when you get it, its fresh and delicious. Session is a place to sit down and soak in the great flavors and relaxing vibe.

Wood and metal decor in a pseudo-industrial space. Good coffee - black. Limited seating, but sufficient for the space. Location is good for Santa Fe traffic, but may be difficult to exit. Very pleasant staff.

Calm atmosphere, folksy classic rock playing. Not crazy packed like other coffee shops in the area. Great place to go in on Saturday and get some stuff done while still feeling like your relaxing.

Amazing coffee shop right where we all needed it to be. The owner is often found working the bar himself. Staff is super polite and friendly, the environment is calm, quiet, with good vibrations. Ive been there quite a few times now and fully intend on returning multiple times more.

Fantastic espresso! I needed a break and saw this place as I was driving north on Santa Fe, I pulled in and ordered a double shot. The Barista pulled me one of the better double shots Ive had in a long time, and served it to me with a small glass of sparkling water. Took me back to a time in Munich Germany a long time ago :-)I highly recommend this place. If youre in the mood for a great espresso, and a peaceful environment, give this place a shot :-)

Dont waste your time at Starbucks! Get some real coffee here! Hoping someday theyll try serving oat milk lattes because they are delicious. Love buying bulk coffee here too.

Great coffee and a really nice atmosphere. Not super crowded on the weekends which is a nice change from over coffee shops in the area. I only wish they had a few more few options like scones or bagels.

This coffee shop is wonderful! Great ambiance, service and of course, coffee! They have fantastic pour over options, and the best decaf I have ever tasted. They also have Kombucha on tap which is delicious. Matt and Brad are incredibly friendly and always greet me with a smile. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Folks these boys are brewing great coffee. Do yourself a favor and get over to Session Coffee today. Yeah yeah I know they are conveniently located across the road from a motherscratching Starbucks that also happens to be a drive through, but dont. Look right and park the car. These fellas are friendly and they know their coffee. Man, dont even get me started.

Smallest most expensive coffee I have ever had. I spent 15 dollars on a 10 oz coffee and a burrito half the size of one from literally any other place in the world! The barista had his dog running around inside of an establishment that makes food and drinks. It’s a German Shepherd, it’s gonna shed I really don’t want dog hair in my tiny coffee. Definitely will not come back.

Laid back yet some how trendy this place is great. The drinks come in two sizes yet only one is listed on the menu.

Get your coffee here, not at Starbucks across the street! We stopped in when the owner was working. He directed us to a coffee that matched our preferences, and it was delicious. The atmosphere is clean and laid-back. Its not too busy to sit down and work or have a conversation.

Not a fan. Ordered 2 drip coffees. Barista stated out of drip for 2 cups so we had to order an entirely different drink. The drip coffee we did receive was cold and tasted off. Mocha also was not the best. Doubtful we will return.

Outstanding business with a delicious array of good, local coffee (Middle State and Sweet Bloom are most frequently featured here) and tasty pastries. Housemade syrups make the lattes divine. Theyll warm up a breakfast burrito for you too.

Not that yall need me to tell you this after all these great reviews, but its true - Matt is a coffee genius and he cares a lot about his craft. Homemde chai, and he uses some of the best roasted beans you can get in this area. One of the best shops out there, youre doing yourself a disservice by driving past it every day and not going inside.

Theyre decaf is a medium roast (or was when I got my coffee). The brown sugar cinnamon pop tart is flame! The atmosphere is too creative for my taste. Still an amazing coffee shop.

I stopped in today for a cup of coffee— normally I’m a little apprehensive about ordering a handbrew because it’s easy to go wrong. I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness and depth in the pourover I had. Also got a chai that was lightly sweetened and made as an in house concentrate. The shop smelled heavenly, like light cinnamon!They brew sweet bloom coffee, which tends to be on the lighter side of roasts— great as a third wave coffee place of Santa Fe!

The west and south walls are almost entirely glass which makes for great lighting and an open feel. Comfortable seating. Great wifi. The coffee is quality too. Started by two young brothers who are hustling to make a cafe that sticks out from the pack. Kombucha too.

Really tasty coffee in a warm, inviting setting with lots of natural light and natural wood. Service is more thoughtful and deliberate than speedy and efficient, so it may not be the best place to stop for a quick caffeine hit on the way to work, but for a calm morning sitting with your laptop or newspaper (or news app) its perfect.

Really simple, clean and aesthetically pleasing shop. They have a small menu which I appreciate, nothing too crazy just good, simple beverages. The barista was wonderful, conversational and pleasant. The chai was delicious, when Im in the area again I will be back.

This is a cool, newish, indy coffee shop. I met someone right at 6pm once, not knowing that they were closing and the staff was nice enough to let us hang for a few minutes. A no-brainer when compared to the alternative right across the street.
