An amazing man runs this place. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a bird that has been cared for with love and respect to do business with this place. We came from Nebraska and it was worth it! My kids and I were surely blessed by the passion that the owner has for helping others and taking care of Gods creation. Wow! I am impressed! Dang I was looking for a Green Cheek and found Tim. Time loves birds and they love him. I pray every night that I will be able to get a bird from someone who loves birds so much. Tim is amazing! We got two hand-fed budgie babies from him, and theyve grown into wonderful birds! Its clear that Tim cares for all his birds exceptionally well. Hes also been super helpful in boarding/bird-sitting for us when weve had to leave town. Our birds love people and love to be handled, and its largely because of how well Tim has raised them. If youre looking for healthy birds that are really well taken care of, this is the place!

Tim really loves these birds and they are well cared for. He is very helpful and responsive to questions. I got a beautiful hand fed baby cockatiel that is very calm and well socialized with humans because of his obvious love of these beautiful birds. I would highly recommend getting a bird from Tim. The money he receives is used to care for rescued or surrendered birds that are treated with kindness, patience and love.

My Aunt Linda loves her new bird. We drove 16 hours round trip from Sturgis South Dakota to Denver for one of Tim’s birds. Tim is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. His birds are well taken care of. We highly recommend him.

So far I have gotten 6 budgies from Tim, and they are the most amazing birds. Tim spends so much time hand feeding these birds and socializing them. They come home happy and super friendly and playful. Tim is also super knowledgeable about so many different species of birds. Every time weve come to pick up our birds, we spend over an hour just chatting, talking about birds, and visiting with his many resident birds. His Cockatoo names Lightning is seriously such the goofiest little bird ever and we love seeing him every time we come over. I very HIGHLY recommend getting your next bird/s from For the Love of Birds. You will definitely notice a HUGE difference between one of Tims birds and a store bought bird. When I am ready to take on a cockatiel, I will definitely get it from Tim and no other place! His birds are worth every penny!

Tim was so very helpful and clearly loved his birds a lot. We spent about an hour and a half talking with him about his rescue and all of the birds stories and origins. He should charge a fee just to see all the birds! We purchased a hand fed budgie from him, and he provided cuttlebones, hemp seeds, millet, and his birdseed mix to go with our budgie.100/10 would purchase birds from again.

Tim is amazing very helpful even times I needed to message him late night he always responded during my bird crisis lol he has such an amazing love for birds. His set up is amazing. He only charges for the services he provides no other place does that and no other place can beat his prices.

I purchased a few hand fed birds from For the love of birds. They were very well raised and the owner answered all of my questions!

I was looking for a handraised parakeet and a local bird store directed me to Tim. I had a great experience and ended up leaving with two charming little characters that are already tame instead of one. All of the birds are well cared for and its obviously a labor of love for Tim. He also had the cutest and most comical parrot I have ever met. Ill definitely return if Im ever looking for a new bird and will highly recommend For Love Of Birds to my friends.

If your looking for that special lil feathered friend this is your place. Tim is an amazing soul for these birds. He isn’t going to meet you in the gas station parking lot. I actually was invited in to his nest an I chose my new lil cockatiel with as much time as I needed. The prices are the same as anywhere else out there so it’s not about just making money to him. He cares about the forever home of all his birds! It was a great feeling for me knowing my money an any donation is being put directly into his rescue an care of all his birds. Thank you!!
