Parking is always a nightmare. Service is not what it used to be.Great for camping gear, but for bikes there are better options

REI always have very interesting outdoors gear. Many products are expensive but backpacking packs and such are well worth it with the membership. It is 20dollars for a life time membership and you are given 10% Dividends and they have sales quite often. Also, if it does not satisfy you, you can return anything within a YEAR!(Of course not wear and tear) They also have members only garage sale where you can snag some good items that were returned for this very reason. The backpack fitting is very helpful if you are starting out as well. My husband and I are trying to get into backpacking and the store employees were super helpful! Def check it out if you are looking to start outdoors activities. However, price is expensive so do some research and take advantages of discounts and garage sales!

Worst bike shop experience I’ve ever had. Went to get tubeless tires put on my bike and it took the staff hours to figure out what that even meant when I arrived. Then they ultimately were not able to do it and just put tubes in the tires after I had left my bike with them for over a month. Now neither of those tubes will even hold air. Do not trust these folks with your bike, especially during winter when they are focused on skis.

Ive been tobplenty of REI locations but they paled in comparison to this place. Outstanding customer service, incredible inventory. Dan helped me find some boots that are working perfectly for me in the cold, and recommended becoming a member for some really great perks that I took advantage of when I made my purchase. Good spot, great people.

Generally I love REI, this location is amazing az far.as the physi cc al store goes. My experiences with the.staff however have not been what I would expect from such a nice, and big flagship store and has a little too much room still left for improvement. In all honesty if it wasnt for loving the selection and setup of such a nice big facility I probably wouldnt find it worth even going back anymore and would just shop or pickup packages from one of other locations in the area.

This is addressing the techs and repair shop: Moderate knowledge and expertise , low priority to assist customers. The rest of the staff at Rei has been amazing and helpful.

Went in for grips for my bike and then came out to their gated parking lot to find the lock on my bike had been cut and stolen out of the back of my truck. Was told nothing they could do. No cameras. I did notice they had plenty of cameras inside the building protecting their belongings. Why gate your parking lot if anyone can walk in and ride out on a new bike. At leat they let me return the grips.

Great selection on a wide range of outdoor products. One of the larger rei stores I’ve been into lately. Even though it’s pretty expansive, finding what you need is relatively easy. Staff is attentive and easy to find if you need any help. Finding parking is pretty easy as well.

Don’t normally take my bike here, but seeing as I had to order some parts I thought it’d be a good option. The communication both with me and among the large staff was poor. One person would recommend one thing, the other person would be dumbfounded by the recommendation. It took much longer than the estimate. Went to pick up the bike only to learn it wasn’t finished. Now one of the tubes they installed won’t hold air and they installed a security device but lost the serial number, rendering it worthless. With the exception of the excellent service from Sara, it was a rotten frustrating experience.
