This place is great! I called to see if they could do the brakes and shocks on a Scion, brought it down the night before the appointment. Got a call by 10 am with the estamate. Totally different car! Thanks to everyone there! Definitely will recommend to others!

I brought in my 2004 Dodge Stratus that had been in storage for two years. The experienced staff at Monaco Tire & Auto performed a tune up, replaced battery, checked brakes and rotors, inspected tires and topped off fluids. Had a bad alternator. Got it replaced and ended up being a bad re-man (Manufacturer fault). They are honest and fixed free of charge per warranty. Not to mention quick! Had both fixes done within the same day! Highly recommend as a primary mechanic. They wont jerk you around or try to double dip on you. 👍👍👍

Had an unexpected nail in my tire and called around. Everyone was saying several hours for a simple tire repair and I had appointments I had to keep. Called these guys and literally got me in and out in less than 30ish minutes in the middle of the day when they were busy.Also I asked about doing a repair that they couldve done but he recommended elsewhere to make sure the repair was done to its best potential..really makes their character stand out. Absolutely 5⭐ place.

Very honest and straight forward shop. They were able to diagnose a noise in my car that ended up being the differential which isnt a part that they would rebuild but I was very happy they found the issue. Also they replaced my rear brake drums at a fair price. What went a very long way with me was that they brought the old drum brakes out and showed me the exact area of the part that was causing interference. Most shops dont go into that much detail, but they did and I would recommend them.

Absolute WORST “customer service” I’ve ever experienced. They gave my assigned truck to someone else. When I asked for a confirmation that the new truck was under my info and the old truck wasn’t being charged to me. I was told “sorry lady, you get no truck then”The tool inside raised his voice saying “are you listening to me?!” When I was looking for a confirmation text he told me was sent. I hope these men lose their jobs or go work somewhere that trash is welcome.

Updated***tried to take money before service was completed (they told me there system was down and could take up to an hour to complete. 3 min in, on a service they tried to take payment. You said the service May Not Even Be Completed, so why would i give payment right away.Went to a second location (smartstart) immediately AFTER and their system isnt down.I use to really love ( they had 5 stars before the second incident today)mainly went to them for the convenience but today Aug 18th, i went out of my way to go to their location. Since uve recently moved.

Fast and efficient service.

Positive: the men that work there are very kind. They were recommended by friends who had a good experience with easy repairs.Negative: I went there at 11 am for exhaust issues and they explained I needed my intermediate pipe replaced. Around 4pm I get a call stating they ran into some trouble and asked if it was okay for the repairs to be finished the next day. The next morning when I pick up my car they explained the intermediate pipe they bought didnt fit, so to make it work they ordered an additional gasket and muffler. The additional parts did not need to be replaced and it made the cost of the repairs increase. Also, they did not call beforehand for consent for the additional repairs, they did it without asking. While speaking with friends about this they feel I was overcharged as well.They displayed poor judgement and poor decision making. There are better places to go.

We got a great deal and my car feels so much better, super happy with the service! We will definitely be back.

I got my timing belt change and my car feels like new... i have being coming here since I move out in April and they ere pretty good work and quiality... very profesional and also i do the interlock every month.

I’m a single mother of four, the kids dad passed away 3 years ago, he was the one to fix my cars but don’t have him any more. I had my car towed their from a towing company they recommend and my vehicle was left there to get diagnosed and fixed. I unlocked the door for the towing company can tow it and trusted these two companies to help me and would take care of my car. It was there for three days and they haven’t got to it. I went in to check on it and decided it was to expensive to fix. I planned on getting it towed to the salvage yard from there. I had a lot of stuff in it and when I came back the next day to clean it out all my stuff was stolen and gone. So from Saturday May 9th which is my sons birthday and Saturday May 10th mother’s day, all my stuff was taken! No body cared to make sure my doors were locked and I trusted this place would be safe for my car. I’m very sad and disappointed it was my kids stuff, and things from my mom who has passed away. I’m disappointed in myself to trust this place would look out for my car, not getting stuff moved out of it fast enough with the million of other things I had to deal with in life, working full time, n not checking the doors myself. The one time I didn’t check the doors to make sure they were locked this happens and was discovered on Mother’s day at that. I’m really sad😭💔 Whoever did it, did it when they knew no body would be at the shop. It was fine all the other days. Well I hope they are all proud of them selves for taking from my kids, sentimental stuff from their dad who’s gone and taking stuff from my mom on mother’s day who happens to be gone too! Thanks a lot people.

Excellent Customer Service

Made an appointment for 11am .. I was on time to drop off my car... Previously on the phone the owner stated when I asked that it would only take 1-1.5 hours to do.. I told him Im a busy person with my work and have time restraints. He assured me on the phone so I made the appointment. I dropped off the car at 11am like I said went to handle some other errands came back at 12 and the car hadnt moved from the spot where I left it . When I went inside to ask the owner came up to me but in the middle of my sentence walked away he came back with my keys!!! No warning when I stopped it off that it may take longer.. NOTHING then to be treated like that!! I work to hard for my money to hand it over to a business like this, who cant even communicate with the customer or even care that they wasted my time.. I wouldnt recommend this place at all. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAY OFF OPERATING THEIR BUSINESS

Please don’t come here..never in my life has an oil change take longer than a couple hours, it took them the entire weekend and then when I received my car back which I expected to be running smooth it shook like never before and I just moved down here from Washington driving 1300 miles and it did amazing and has never shook like that as far as I’ve ever owned this car. Since I received my car back worse than better I kindly asked if they could fix it and they’re also charging for that diagnostic which makes no sense to me.My car was NEVER like this until I got it back from them, worst money-Grubbin auto shop EVER. It’s not right to get scammed like this!

My radiator blew on I-25. Limped it to Monaco Tire. They we able to get me a diagnosis with a couple hours. Friendliest garage I’ve ever been in. Great job fellas! Will highly recommend you to all my Denver area friends.

I brought my 4runner in here maybe 2 years ago with issues with squealing. The mechanics diagosed everything very quickly, and fixed everything the day we were scheduled. Since then, Ive only come here and they are doing a wonderful job helping me repair my 20+ year old vehicle.

This place is VERY nice and they are extremely helpful for car work. I cant say its the cheapest but it is not over priced and still cheaper than normal car dealers. I have an engine replaced for my car and they were very fast and quick about it as well as making sure I was staying up to date in additional problems they found and costs that might be added if I wanted them addressed as well. I even got a free oil change for coming back later since I had previous work done. Was not expecting that. This place is excellent and I highly recommend it.

From the time you walk through the door , you know you picked the right mechanic. A greeting like no other , fast , and thorough . VERY decent price . I have never had a mechanic sit down with everything written out with price making eye contact the whole time . Right then I knew not only friendly , but honest also . Most of the time you have someone staring at a computer inputting information . I appreciated it Dino and I will recommend you to everyone I know ! Really I felt appreciated there .

Just thought it was rude how they way the were driving my car around. (Recorded) and how when I went to get my car after I paid 60 for them to test drive and look at a spark plug and my car was SO close to the other cars I couldn’t even barely get in. Literally I was nervous even pulling out that’s how close! They knew I had a baby in a stroller with. My poor daughter had to wait for me to pull my car out alone. Wow. I’m just so ashamed. That’s so disrespectful, obviously not family type business. I’d post the photos but can’t seem to figure it out how to .. YET. Seen me struggle getting into the place nobody offered to help open the door like at normal places. That’s super rude. Would highly recommend to anybody I know. I also really enjoy the family atmosphere, down to earth attitude and honesty.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP! I witnessed one of their employees pealing out of the parking lot twice. Once in front of a parked cop who was unable to address it since he was busy. I would never want a shop to drive my car the way I witnessed. Shameful! Seems I am not the only one who has seen this if you read other reviews.

I stopped in for the first time because the shop is just down the street for me and my car needed alignment work. Im not sure why I have not given the guys here a shot sooner but Im sorry I didnt. I brought my impala here with a blinking engine light I already knew it means an issue is there however a diagnostic showed the same result but the test did not conclude how the issue occurred. I paid for a diagnostic that I should not have paid for especially when my insurance is being told it’s beyond the mechanics expertise 🤦🏼‍♀️ After getting diagnosed somewhere else the same spark plugs Dino pulled out needed to be replaced and two blown coils. NEVER rent a Uhaul from this place. I reserved a Uhaul for pickup at 9am. When I went to pick my Uhaul up, the “manager” refused to rent to me. I told him I would have the Uhaul back by 7pm at the latest, I am a professional mover and can get things done rather quickly. The “manager” sent me away without a rental and was rude to me from the very second I walked in the door. I immediately called Uhaul to discuss the problem. They informed me that the reservation we canceled at 8:08am stating I requested a 24hr rental when I arrived and the truck wasn’t available for a 24hr rental. Not sure how this is possible, as I walked in the door to pick up the Uhaul after 9am. So the reservation was canceled with an outlandish explanation 1 hour before I even stepped foot in the door of this establishment. Thank you to Uhaul for correcting my issue and doing what you could for me.

This isnt even a business. The owner opens and closes when he feels like it. The work is going to be worse than when you took it in. And if its really close to you drive further its worth it.

Took my truck in for an oil change and check engine light diagnostics. I get the truck back and everything seems fine but then the steering wheel started wobbling and shaking at redlights. I didnt think much of it until I got on the highway and hear this popping sound from the engine Ive never heard before, and notice the check engine light is blinking, which it never used to do. I waited a day to see if it would wear off but it only got worse and now the steering wheel trembles and shakes uncontrollably everytime I stop and the engine popping sound got even louder. I called to see if they could check it out, but Dino just tried to charge me again for diagnostics. He said it was my fault for not fixing the things he said to fix and didnt see any causal link between his shop and all these new problems appearing right after they worked on it. I was going to bring it back in for a tune but its very clear this place cant even change oil or do diag without messing something up then blaming you for it. Horrible shop.

I have never had worse service than with this owner. If Uhaul was smart they would pull their supplies from this business. Got there about 20 minutes before he was to close. I needed wardrobe boxes and he told me that he was out. I asked him if he could take just a few seconds to call the other distributor on Havana to see if he had any before I drove all the way over there. He refused!! Said he was closing. I was appalled at his lack of service. When I asked again, he got very indignant; got in my face and insisted that I get the hell out of his business. Do not use this business for anything. This man has real anger issues.

Unethical Business Practices at Monaco Tire & Auto. I took a pre purchase car inspection here yesterday to have them look over the car before I bought it. They told me it was $75 and that it was a good car and a good deal. So I bought the car. I drove it home and left my other car there at their shop, later when it was dark out, I came with my friend to get my newly purchased car back. As I was driving home and following my friend who was driving the car I just bought I noticed the brake lights werent working. We immediately took it to Auto zone in Lafayette and luckily there was a mobile mechanic there who offered to put new bulbs in the brake lights and as he looked over it he said that it wasnt the bulbs that it was the brake pedal switch! I now have to spend $100 to have that fixed. The car wasnt even street legal to drive home! Besides that I couldve gotten in a terrible accident driving it home! Not only did this situation put my life in danger but it also put my friends life in danger and I paid for a service at Monaco Tire & Auto that I didnt receive! It also put me at risk for a ticket and I feel I overpaid for the car and maybe I wouldnt have wanted the car if I had known this! I called this morning to discuss it with the manager Dino and he offered a $20 discount?? for work that wasnt even performed?? I now have to take it to a different mechanic and have it looked over because I cannot trust this place looked over anything else also the driver side window was broke and they didnt tell me and the radio doesnt work which they also failed to mention I feel completely ripped off by Monaco Auto. I do NOT recommend Monaco Tire & Auto for pre purchase auto inspections or any other service for that matter!

I rented a UHaul from these guys today. They had excellent customer service and made the stress of moving a little bit easier! While there I noticed that they know most of their customers by name and a little about them. It seems like a place that has customers for life.

Brought my car in for an oil change, they checked the air filter and corrected a problem. As well as informed me of another, they werent pushy to sell the service and told at this time it was a minor problem. Good shop run by good people!8 months later returned for service on a recent purchase. It was a pricy repair due to neglect or abuse by previous owners. I have to give it to the team at Monaco Tire & Auto my 350z handles great now! Thanks guys wish more shops were like this one.

Fast and easy uhaul rental.

My AC stopped working and I brought it to a Toyota Dealership. Terrible idea. They kept my car for two days, charged me over a grand in labor and did not even fix my AC. I brought it to Monaco Tire & Auto and Deno explained to me exactly what he was going to do, did the job and charged me the minimum he could to replace my compressor. The service here is legit. You can tell this company cares about their customers and their community. Deno, Justin and the entire staff are always very professional. I never had this feeling of trust before with other oil change places. Ever. Monaco Tire & Auto are invested in their job and are accountable to make sure your car is treated safely.Honestly, I dont think Ive been as impressed by the quality of service at an establishment (of any kind) as I have been by this one. Really cant say enough good things about it!And yes, Im a real customer.

Ive been a customer with Monaco Tire and Auto for a few years now, and I trust them more than any mechanic Ive had! Deano and his staff are incredibly friendly and always looking out for their customers best interest.Worth noting: as a woman, I have been talked down to and had mechanics try to convince me to pay for services I dont need, assuming I dont know any better. Deano and his staff have never treated me differently because of my gender, and they dont defer to my husband when he is present (which happens often in other businesses) and instead treat me with the utmost respect and as an equal. Unreliable website, unreliable service!We rented a U-Haul truck with several pads, and a couple of days they sent us to the other side of town to this place because they didnt have the truck on our original location. Got there this morning, and they had the truck by no pads for us. We dont guarantee pads. Someone came in yesterday and rented them all, so they screwed all customers picking up trucks today. Now were supposed to go even further away to -hopefully-pick up pads at yet another location.

I had never had a good experience at an auto shop. One of the few things in life that REALLY stresses me out are car problems. This family owned and operated shop is fantastic. Deano, the owner sympathized, was very kind, and even showed me the problem. He didnt try to upsell me and offered a very fair price. They got it fixed promptly and correctly and now my car is happy. So am I!! His sons work there as well and are as sweet, genuine and charismatic as their dad. Class act shop. I will most definitely go back to them.**Update 9/15/15- Since my above review, and as corny as this sounds, these guys have become sort of like family to me. I love bantering with Caleb and Justin (when they have time). Deano is awesome as well, and always tells me in order of priority what needs fixing and what can wait. I feel badly for the people that have had bad experiences at Monaco.This is not a churn em and burn em kind of shop, so please be aware that your visit may take longer than you may expect. If it does, ask yourself if you want it done fast or done right? In other words, please be patient!!! If you go in with a good attitude, they will treat you like gold. Also, these guys deal with hotheads all day, so if they are short or not as friendly some days, its likely they are really busy or have had an overflow of angry and impatient customers. So, if you want fast, go somewhere else. If you want your repairs done right, go to Monaco.

The guy who helped me had no clue what he was doing it seemed like on how to rent me the uhaul van for the evening. I watched him erase my info that was already done (from my online order) and ask for it so he could get things going haha so yeah I became a prick those were his words. Frustrating when the employee doesnt know how to do the job right. Thanks for the help guy! Horrible! I went a couple times to get my Smart Start interlocken calibrated. The 1st time I did they broke the clip off that locks the head to the cord, they didnt say anything to me or try to fix the problem. While waiting for my calibration they were helping other customers and realized their customer service was terrible so I decided not to ruffle any more feathers. Later while driving the head came undone from the cord and I got a violation, surprisingly they did calibrate it at no charge HOWEVER they replaced the head with a grimy, dirty, disgusting head that hasnt been cleaned in 47 years that now makes me blow every 3 minutes. I called back and spoke to Justin and requested my old head and I would take it somewhere else, interestingly he told me he just sent the all the old heads back yesterday, WEIRD. Also I have recommended several others to go there, only because of there location, they ALL have had issues as well and the guys at MT&A persist to blame the problems on the vehicles and devices along with trying to upsale them. Oh and they over charged me!!!

Worst renting experience I have ever experienced: I have just wasted the last 2 hours trying to finalize and pay my bill from this mornings rental with no result. The final portion of my for extra mileage was not billed to my credit card as agreed upon- rather it was emailed an hour after I returned the rental as a bill promissory note with an additional 30$ late payment fee. I called the location to inquire about and finalize my final payment and received a non helpful attitude from the employee telling me my credit card was declined had to call UHaul instead (I have used the same card successfully multiple times today at multiple locations before and after this occurrence). I then called the Uhaul billing line and it is not manned on the weekends. I then returned to to rental location in person to find out they had closed (at 1pm on a Saturday). It has now been only 3 hours since I returned the vehicle, and I have no way to fix this situation today because no one is open until Monday. I fear I am going to be now stuck litigating a 30$ late payment fee with UHaul (all caused by rental employee incompetence).

Never in my life have I been more disrespected. From the first word out of my mouth to when I was chased to my car by an employee being called a douche bag... its safe to say that this is an awful, vengeful establishment. They cancelled my uhaul reservation (one way to Phoenix) after claiming to have tried to contact me without any proof. I now have to wait 7 days and pay over $260 to my apartment to stay an extra week because they rented my uhaul to someone else in 2 hours and there are no others in the size I require in the Denver area until Tuesday. The best they could do was write down a number and tell me to call 1-800-go-uhaul. I crumpled up the paper and threw it in the trash in front of the man. I was yelled at, told I was an idiot, treated like gum on the bottom of their shoe, and cursed at. If you intentionally go to this establishment, I assume youre a masochist.

These guys were fantastic! I went to get a 2nd opinion on a sound my car was making. The previous place quoted me $300 more than Monaco Tire did AND they were kind enough to show me exactly what my problem was, not just tell me. And to top it off they didnt charge me to diagnose the issue even though the previous place did. They were a god send!

I will say that this place has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Went for a simple download of a smart start interlock device and when a charge of 50 dollars additional to what I had been told on the phone, Justin proceeded to puff out his matter of factly chest and get the head person of smart start on the phone the shove it in my face as a gesture of good morningness f@*^ you. Not one time did I ever get a chance to explain what had transpired and at that point did not really want to do anything but leave. I decided to hand back my loyalty card to Dino (owner) and told him I did not need that anymore because I would never be returning for any service of any kind after dealing with a sawed off punk behind the counter that is begging to have his a** kicked. After some words exchanged with Dino and the highly functioning idiot named Justin, I was told that I am in the wrong by having a attitude about questioning a additional charge and that Justin was in the right. Weird business practices here as I had always assumed the customer was always right. I mean I did go there to pay for a service but lost all desire as I watched a owner stick up for the village idiot (Justin) and watch a paying customer walk away, never to return and make it a mission to spread the word that no one in need of having mechanical repairs, a U-Haul, interlock service or a drink of water ever spend a penny in this establishment only to server as a reminder to Dino that customer service is the only way to keep customers happy.DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR ANY REASON. BAD BAD BAD
