I never write a review but i had to write one for these guys and the great job they did on my car. Hands down one of the best A to Z transactions with a repair shop i have ever made. I been in the car business for 15 years and these guys went above and beyond. I will refer anyone looking for great service and a staff that gets the job done the first time.

I have been referred by a friend to Avalon to do the work on my Audi A4. Ive always nervous to take my car to a non-dealer for service. But when the dealer quoted me $900 to do a standard 2 year check up with fluids and filters, I knew that it was time to look for alternative. My call to Avalon was answered by Nathaniel who was about as nice and welcoming as anyone Ive ever spoken to in conjunction with cars. I am hopeful that the service is as good as he is at customer intake.

I compared prices between Avalon and my local VW dealership and Avalon was much cheaper. The guys here are friendly, quick, and very transparent. I don’t take great care of my car and I really don’t know much about cars. They sent my a easy to read comprehensive report on the vehicle and called me to give a piece by piece break down of what they found and their recommendations. They gave it to me straight up, didn’t try to over sell me products but recommended what needed to be done to keep my car driving safe and running effectively.I had some questions after my visit and they were quick to respond and welcomed me to come back for a second look. After my experience with Avalon I won’t be visiting a dealer again, locally owned shops is the way to go. Nathanael and Peter offered great customer service. I took my 2013 Mini Cooper s, after having some turbo issues, and this place was the best choice. Hands down. They were beyond friendly and know what they are talking about. Avalon repaired a boost issue with my Audi TT turbocharger and did a great job diagnosing the specific issues and repairing only what was needed. Saved me over $3000 compared the Audi dealership who quoted a turbo replacement! A very professional team. I highly recommend them!

After recovering from the shock and dismay for $3500 AC evaporator repair, I can offer a comprehensive review. Keep in mind that historically I have used BMW of Denver for almost every repair in the past and is my only reference of comparison.Lets start with the convenience of simply dropping off the car early in the morning. Honestly, this serves up a dichotomy of emotions in the struggle between convenience and concern. If an M3 was any other car, I would probably care less, but leaving this little lady on Colfax Ave. does raise a few hairs on the back of my neck. In an age of haters and overabundance of homeless souls wandering about, its only normal to have a smidgen of trepidation in leaving your girl vulnerable to unwanted advances. This never occurred and I am all certain that Avalon has security in place to capture any hijinks and react accordingly. Thus, I am happy to report that the only mention of outside assault was a cash offer to purchase her by a wanderer-by who affirmed that he and I had concluded the transaction earlier in the day. Avalon professionals were not convinced and sent the young man on his way.As for the extensive repair, I have no complaints and have been pushing the AC to the max and giving the M a thorough run-thru, flipping every knob on the dash to ensure the wipers were not turning on the radio, lights not adjusting the radio, and other oddities.In closing, the Avalon team performed well and I can offer only one area of improvement: ensure that the customer is not left wondering what stage a lengthy repair is in. Over-communicating puts customers at ease and reflects that a team is making steady progress.Thank you all!

I first heard of Avalon through a Porsche group event hosted by the owner. Ive since used Avalon for various service items on my 2003 911 Turbo over the past 8 years and have been pleased with their work and pricing. I recently purchased a 10 year old BMW X3 and used Avalon for installation of some performance parts. Pricing was reasonable and Nathanael was friendly and had good communication through the process. An added bonus beyond meeting my expectations for the install was that they thoroughly cleaned my entire engine bay from near-abandonment dirty! I look forward to using Avalon again if the need arises.

Tried setting up appointments both online and over the phone with this business after being referred to them. Its been over a month since I tried making contact and I still havent heard back from anyone via email or phone call... Very unprofessional to ignore customers wether you are busy or not.

Dropped my Audi Q5 to get inspected for an oil leak. Picked my car up a day later and my car is over filled with oil, the splash guard is dragging they’re blaming us for “losing bolts” when I dropped it off my guard was on perfectly fine. Would NOT recommend this place. They wanted to charge me 30$ more for the hardware. Never going back to this place VERY disappointed

In this day of roll the dice for car repair, Avalon stands out, not because they are a low-cost provider, but because they are honest and do excellent work. Im not glowing over their prices because I think they are at the high end. Im also not entirely on board with their policy of OEM parts only to fit into their warranty since high-quality alternatives exist to overpriced OEM parts. Still, they are straight shooters, and their work is impeccable. If you own German cars like us, you cant make a better choice.

Its not easy to find tuners for Minis and Avalon did a great job with my r60 countryman! I upgraded the turbo, exhaust, tune, and suspension. Theyre all mini factory trained so do a great job with regularly scheduled services as well.

When to do a stage 1 tune on my Audi and they did a fantastic job. The service and timing was perfect and everyone I talked to and worked with there were extremely nice and helpful.

Honesty,integrity, compassion or dignity doesn’t live here at this place.I called in on a Friday and didn’t get a answer but left a message and didn’t get a call back. I ended up calling in on Monday to schedule a appointment and was told I would receive a courtesy text the day before and never did. I end up still bringing my car in on the scheduled appointment. The car under goes a “ Diagnostic” then get a call to send previous invoices to a email, later that day I get a call to get authorization to keep the car until the next day and I did. Got a call the next day from the “ Machanic” that morning that the vehicle was still under the diagnostic and I also mentioned that if I was not able to pick up the car by 3pm I wouldn’t be able to pick it up until tomorrow, they said it was ok. I get a call from the Machanic” saying they did a power wash on the engine and was able to detect the oil leak came from previous repair and and they couldn’t even explain the oil in the coolant as I suggest for a diagnostic, an they would need to keep the car for a week without any loaner car I declined i also mentioned there was a different quote on the paperwork for the diagnostic and was met with an argument that had me on camera signing the paperwork and was argumentative about what was said. By the end of the conversation I was told the reason for the draw from the battery was form a aftermarket speaker that was replaced and was not programmed to the car and it was reprogram and fixed and things should be fine but previously the car system or speakers was not ever replaced. The next day I pick up my car and was told that the bill was covered and that they would not provide me with a invoice so that I can have the documents to move forward with the findings of the oil leak from the previous repair, and they don’t think this shop is the right fit, because let’s be honest there never was a diagnostic performed blamed another shop for the oil leak when the leak had nothing to do with the previous repair that was documented later on this day, miscommunication, misdiagnosed test that were made up and want to be confrontational about my concerns. I wouldn’t trust this place to work on my mountain bike, terrible experience, toxic environment and unreasonable people to deal with I also believe my race played a part in this behavior respect dignity and courtesy is not apart of the core values of this place

Had my first non-dealer “scheduled maintenance” (5yr or 55k) inspection and oil change on my 2016 Audi A6 w 31k miles. These guys were very thorough and went line for line through the findings with me. No surprises, great info, good recommendations, decent price, kind and informed and professional demeanor, and a ride over to the shop at the end of the day to pick up the car. They said they would inspect to find issues, not just “do stuff because some book says it should happen” and the things they suggested were all fair and reasonable. They were very understanding and in agreement when I suggested I could change out the air and cabin filters myself for much less than they (or any service) would charge. All good on the CoVid protocol too. I’ll surely be going back for the next service, I definitely recommend you give these guys a call.

The people were nice enough but paying $370 for an oil change, tire rotation and then an inspection that suggested $3,400 in work on a car with 32,000 miles on it was a bit much.

Decided to go with Avalon after I was screwed over by a mobile mechanic abandoning the job with my n51 07 bmw 328xi. Towed the car in for a engine misfire diagnosis with the valve cover mostly removed with 3 missing bolts and had the expectation that I would be charged for two hours labor for reassembly on top of the $300 advanced diagnosis. When I picked my car up, I was quoted $2600 for a new valve cover because mine was not oem and eccentric shaft sensor because there was oil in the connection along with various bolts. The valve cover was not reassembled, nor was i charged for the two hours labor. Decided to do the work myself and the issue was not resolved. I feel like they didnt want to deal with someone elses mess and had they sourced the missing bolts and performed the reassembly, they may have caught the issue. There ended up being a plastic rod from a broken disa flap stuck in the intake valve that I discovered myself. The advanced diagnosis i received felt more like a surface level visual inspection. Had they not thrown away the lanyard attached to my keys, left a large scratch on my trunk and muddy handprints all over, I may have felt like I had a better experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly however.

My coolant reservoir seal cracked and was leaking, and the service light came on a day before I was set to go to the mountains. The Avalon team had the part pre-ordered, squeezed me in right away and got me all fixed up for a safe trip. Thanks, guys!

The team was very responsive and professional. My only complaint is that they didnt inform me that the waiting room was closed and I brought my work laptop thinking I would work from there. Obviously this is not their fault, its COVIDs but would have been nice to know. I also wish that they had some sort of car wash service. Their technology is amazing with real time updates and the technician called me personally to go over every part of the inspection. Really great service!

My 2007 Audi A4 was having shifting issues and I decided to have a new clutch put in. Nathanial was very helpful throughout the entire process and they were able to get everything fixed in a good timely manner. I will always recommend them from now on, and will be coming back when it is time to tune the car.

I brought in a car for a PPI (pre purchase inspection) and it was everything I had hoped for. This was not a quick once over. The process took a full day (as it should) and the technician went over the car with a fine tooth comb. This is what a PPI should be! The final report was very detailed and backed up with photos of all the issues they found. Worth every penny and highly recommended!!

Replaced initial turbo on my S3, went bad started smoking. They warranted it out and did not cover the labor. Here I am 2,000 miles later with more turbo issues. Claim they do not have the invoice, so less than a year and 2,000 miles later they said they can not help. Now stuck with a 35,000 mile car ready for its 4th turbo. Not anywhere near the 3 year 25,000 mile warranty they claim.

I was referred by Phil Carpenter who is the Operations Manager for Urban AutoCare to have my newly purchased vehicle checked out by Avalon Motorsports. Phil even set up the appointment for me.The shop and customer lounge area is very clean even though it is shut down due to Covid. I was able to drop off my car the evening before my appointment the next day and when my car finally was done, I received a phone call about recommendations for service/maintenance and the final cost. The price was the same as was quoted when I first dropped it off and there was absolutely no pressure to have the car serviced after the inspection.I received an e-mail and text message link that gave me all the information about my inspection. I even used that inspection information to go back to the dealership that sold me the car to tell them what needed to be fixed.The cost of the inspection was well worth the price in my opinion. I hope to be able to use Avalon for my general maintenance and even repair after my free service is used up by the dealer that sold me the car.I felt like Avalon was very honest; a good and fair price for the inspection and other services they offered. They even gave me two referrals for a window tinting shop and an auto body shop. I took my car here for an a-z inspection and everything that was on the report was false its like they used a generic pre-generated form. Because the things that said were wrong was not the truth. I would not recommend this place very dishonest and when in need of a car repair the most important element is honesty. Two thumbs down..

I had a performance exhaust installed here. Professional, friendly staff, reasonable price and overall a great experience.

I recently relocated to Denver from Florida. I drive a three year old Audi Q5. Lately I noticed when I turn the car on a strange odor coming out of the air-conditioning vents until the car warmed up. To find out the probable cause, I went to Google. First, it could be the car needed freon or because of the high humidity in Florida, mildew could have formed on the cabin air filter. Because I had lived in Floridas hot and humid climate coupled with the fact the car is three years I felt low freon was the probable cause. Also, I just had the cabin filter changed about two months prior. Again, having just moved from Florida and not having established a car repair relationship; I Googled german car repair. Naturally, the local Audi dealerships were listed and any number of other repair shops. I called one of the Audi dealerships and was told the air-conditioning service would run $310. I then called Avalon and was told the service would cost $190. Obviously, I decided to go to Avalon and save $120. I took the car in at 9 a.m. and picked it up at 3 p.m. I was informed by the Service Writer the issue was that.mildew had formed on the cabin filter. They cleaned the filter with a germaicide and the problem was solved. The cost was $60. which was far less than I anticipated having to spend to correct the issue. I was impressed with the entire operation. I would highly recommend their services.

First time at Avalon since my old “go-to” speed shop closed. Service was thorough and fast. Were able to save me money on a replacement I had authorized but they subsequently discovered was unnecessary. Turnaround was as promised. They ae my new service shop.

Avalon is a high tech, premium auto shop for people with European cars. Don’t go here looking for the cheapest price.They have great notification system that let’s you choose the service through the internet. I feel like they are straight forward and honest.

These guys are top notch, some people complain about the price but you get what you pay for, high quality and incredible service are the base of Avalon’s service. Honesty and integrity. I’ve tried numerous shops in the Colorado area. None even come close to the speed and quality of the work here. These guys always do what’s right. Prior to choosing Avalon Motorsports I had been a devotee to Porsche of Littleton because their level of service is unparalleled. At some point you have to wonder what you are paying for though, because their prices are truly outrageous. I selected Avalon Motorsports based on their other excellent reviews, and I was not let down. Everything was done perfectly, to my exacting specifications, and their work carries a longer warranty than Porsche of America. Importantly, the post service detail is incredible. Porsche of Littleton runs your car through a wash bay, Avalon detailed my interior for me. For free. My favorite part of the service was that I could pay by credit card prior to showing up so when I got there they just handed me my keys and I was on my way. Im so excited to have an independent mechanic that I can trust this close to my house.

Everything was very professional with this spot! Only complaint is that I knew what the issue was with my car and was still charged a $140 diagnosis fee to be told that I was right, which didnt apply to the actual repairs after the fact. So a bit pricey, but I was willing to pay extra for an easy/non-intimidating experience.

Replaced the timing chain and the clutch on my MK3 GLX in a timely manner. Will definitely check them out again if I have any engine issues.
