I took 2 cylinder heads here. I was told my drivers side head was cracked which made sense but… i ended up with 2 drivers side cylinder heads. Hmmm so then I. Called and apparently my passengers side cylinder head appeared undone, they rushed to get it done one day to another.I WOULD OF RATHER WAITED TO HAVE GOOD WORK DONE ON IT THAN HAVE A NOISY CYLINDER HEAD. Customer service and communication excellent! ON THE OTHER SIDE THE SHOP NEEDS ATTENTION.

Heads were not completed on time. We were suppose to receive them Monday and they weren’t done until today so we ended up having to get the vehicle towed to move it. Then upon pickup we were told $350 even and were not told there would be a card fee which there was, we didn’t mind but it we feel we should’ve been given the option to just pay $350 with cash. When first looking at the heads they looked really nice but instead of cleaning them, which is what we were told would happen, they decided to spray paint over all the dirt and oil and once we touched them the paint came off showing the oil and dirt underneath.

I have been using Pena for 5 years now with an average of 6-10 purchases per year and have only had one problem with a head. It was a small problem that did not cause any damage to an engine. These guys are awesome!! And super good on pricing!!If you are capable of building your own engine or have a professional auto shop, you HAVE to use Pena Cylinder Heads!!!!

I have used dozens of times over several years and have never had a problem on quality, cost, or turnaround.

I was told by other businesses not to go here. if I was looking for a good cylinder job, this is not the place. Despite others suggestions, I went here and met the front office lady and the guys in the back. They were all polite and gave good recommendations (same as other competitors) on what needs to be done on 390 ford. So I decided to give it a go.So far the exprience hasnt been a good one. I dropped off the heads on Tuesday 12/17 at around 8am and was told that it was going to be ready on Friday 12/20. When I called on Friday to confirm pick up time, I was told I would get a call later that day. Then, I received the call and was told that it wasnt going to be ready because the valaves werent sitting right and they needed to order the correct valves. I was told for sure it will be ready on Monday 12/23. Since I didnt here back I called on monday around noon, when I spoke to the gentleman he advised that they are working on the heads today and are working on the seats (I was surprised to hear this becasue when I spoke to the lady on Friday the seats were done and that only the valves needed to be installed). When I asked what time I should come pick up the heads, he stated I would get a call later on and if not to check back on Thursday 12/26, since they will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for the holiday. I took time off work to install the heads over the weekend and that didnt happen. I had to make other arrangements so I can work on them during the holiday. The guy advised to check back today 12/23 between 4 and 4:30. I am hoping that thier work will help me overcome the overall exprience. Im staring to feel that im wasting time and I am second guessing my decission to come here. I will update this review based on the final outcome. I am hoping to give 5 stars once I get the heads back and get them inspected.Update,Right after leaving the above review notes, I received a call at 1:51pm telling me the heads were ready for pick up( instead of at 4:30 or even possibly a few days later as advised previously). When I went to pick up the heads, Salvador was helpful and advised that the heads are now like new. When I got home and inspected them , they actually did not clean the heads instead they painted the heads on top of the dirt and carbon build up. Some of the screw holes were filled with grey dirty oil when I dropped them off and the oil was still in every screw hole when I picked them up, leading me to believe that they were never cleaned. Looks as if they just bought the parts and installed them whith out cleaning the heads or even atleast the ports. When I removed the springs, I noticed that the guids were installed upside down and the valves were very dirty. When I slide the valves up and down they were not smooth, lots of dirt needing clean up...I must say that they did a good job on the seats, and did good on fitting the guides as well. They used ok parts. Overall, the front office lady did well selling the job but the people in the back did not do the job as advised. The price is pretty affordable and the people are pleasant to deal with. They need to have the owner perform quality control on all work done.

I discovered my Acura Integra had low compression on 1 cylinder and determined there was a valve issue. I removed the head and brought it here. They did a fantastic job identifying the bad valves and cleaning up the head. On top of that, they got the head back to me THE NEXT DAY! Excellent work guys! I would gladly recommend this place to anyone who needs cylinder head work.

Cant even get the right heads....gave us two of the same heads, cams where wrong too. It was for a 4.6 ford. Wont use them again.

Owner and employees are friendly. But I purchased two reconditioned cylinder heads from there. One had busted bolts in the head that I wasnt aware of until install. They told me to bad. All they do is buy heads clean them with degreaser and resell them.
