This store is amazing! The employees are very nice and helpful. They have great deals!

Can usually find good deals, but you have to know your prices. Something are the same price new. They have good sales. Bought a ton of stuff for $50 ( you have to look). Take your time and you can find some great deals.

If I could rate negative I would. Customer service is awful, theyre nothing but rude. Ldy asked if I had a mask I said uhm no an she said they require a mask in store. Well thats not mandatory so they cant make you. Lady kept looking at me until I put one on so I just left.

I find really good deals that keep me coming back but customer service is awful. They watched me walk in with a stroller struggling to open the door and not help at all then I bought a table and chairs I asked if I could get help with to the car and they said ya pull your car up and someone will come out with it and I did and waited and waited and nobody came so had to run in while keeping an eye on my toddler in the car and got it and struggled carrying it out and again they just watched me struggle 🙄

If I could leave a 0 star review I would, every time I have come in this store the workers are absolutely rude. I have a medical condition that results in me not wearing a mask, they 1. Didn’t treat me with respect 2. They wouldn’t talk to me 3. Wouldn’t let me purchase anything. DO NOT GO THIS STORE.

They were super rude to me when I called to ask what they took. They said they took everything then hung up before I could say thank you. Got to the store, they rejected everything I had brought in. It was all in great shape and the clothes were gently used. When I tried to tell the woman behind the counter about the phone call she said what ever, not my problem. And for the prices of the clothes a lot of the stuff was in awful shape.The one time they did take some things they wanted to give me .50 for a few outfits. And they also wouldnt take a super cute electric train set, saying people wont know if all the pieces are there. Seriously? That thought has never crossed my mind when buying a set with various pieces, Im believing the store is being honest and wouldnt put an incomplete set out. Dont waste your time bring stuff in.

Ive been shopping here for my daughter since before she was born. Its nice that we have a local store to buy resale clothing and toys. The prices are fair and they tend to have great sales several times a year. She grows so fast I can buy without feeling like Im eating money when she grows out of them quickly. Ive even found brand new clothing with store tags still attached. Great place to shop for nice dresses and for costumes too.

Great items for babies, not so much 5 year olds. They low ball you even if the clothes you try to sell are in great condition but Ive stumbled upon filthy shoes and wondered how they were even accepted. You can find some good items but some items I can buy new for the same price

I go in here at least once a week and these people are always so extremely rude. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service. Especially today, when I came in around 2, no one greeted me or said a single word to me when I checked out. I stood at the counter for a good 3 minutes before someone even came to check me out, when 5 people were around the counter. When someone finally came to check me out, she didn’t say a word or even make eye contact. And when I asked her how she was, finally, she mumbled and didn’t say anything else. It was obvious i was annoying them by even being there. And this is pretty much every single time I go in this store. The only good employee I’ve noticed is the guy who is there often. The management seriously needs to do something about their horrible and socially awkward employees.

Difficult area to drop items, no one offers assistance when having to make multiple trips, not even opening the door. Four employees standing around talking. Need to improve with customer appreciation.

After reading other reviews, I was quite hesitant to come here. I went anyway and can say it was a pleasant surprise! The ladies working were polite and kind. They took almost everything I brought in and gave me a decent amount for it!

Helpful and Friendly Employees

I do love shopping at this place BUT I just went today to try to sell some of my daughters clothes. I’ve sold there before and have had good experiences in the past, BUT I had some issues with my car and I really didn’t think I could make it out there to pick up what didn’t sell. On that note, I called the store as soon as I noticed I couldn’t get there and they REFUSED to hold my items. I believe I spoke to the manager and she said that they would not and could not hold my items so I can pick up the next morning. We are dealing with a bit of a financial bind and was trying to sell to help us out a bit, the way they lacked empathy really struck a nerve with me and really puts me off on ever returning to this store. On top of that the manager went on to say “well you are aware of our policy aren’t you?” Yes ma’am fully aware but this is an isolated event that was not in my control.Won’t be returning to this store in the foreseeable future.

About a week ago, I brought in shoes and clothing but expensive brands and they gave me 20.00.I honestly didnt care that much. But I suggest if you know your items worth. Sell it yourself on OfferUp or some other app.The store employees were very kind, and estimated my items pretty quickly. Thats about it. When I went in, it was a weekday in the morning.Hope this helps someone!

Love this place! Perfect to grab season appropriate clothes for a good price. Also love being able to sell and buy gently used toys, our little guy gets bored with a toy, we take it up there and find something else new and exciting.

Update: 1 starWent in yesterday looking for a thick coat and thick sweat pants. Only had one coat, and a majority of the pants were very worn in the knees. I had to tell the cashier that two pair of pants had rips in them! Went down the street to Thrift Giant and found a great selection, good quality, and much better pricing! Got 2 new coats and 7 pairs of pants!Previous:2stars:Not much selection for young boys, also prices are almost the same as what I could get new. Only go in now if I’m looking for a specific item I can’t find elsewhere.

I drive further to go to the McKinney location because it’s so much better. Against my better judgment I took a chance on this location to sell clothes this weekend. It took 3 hours and I didn’t even make up the gas to drive there. They told us our clothes were stained which is funny considering almost all of them were never even worn. LOL. I would have rather donated the items they barely paid us for to someone who needed them since I got ripped off so bad. Never again will I waste my time with this crowded, horrible, unfriendly location. Go to McKinney they are clean and much much nicer, also have way better prices!

This place is a joke and a complete waste of time! Dont take your kids nice clothes there take their worn out clothes there because thats they look for....Over priced used worn out janky clothes. So I take in a container of nice barely worn clothes but mostly brand new and they literally choose only a couple of items....the ugliest items in the bin to boot. Completely wasted my time....took 2 hours to do it. The clothes I bought from there I bought for my boys to wear in the woods because they have nothing nice. I think if they had people working there with higher standards for their own clothes they might have a better selection.

Dont waste you time bringing in your items. They just tried to offer me $4 for a pair of Nikes and a pair of twinkle toes. Also they have a horrible selection; worn down clothes, marked high.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! 2 things...First- I tried to sell a bassinet back to this store that I bought about 7 months ago and they first said they probably wouldn’t because they had too many (2) and then they searched it on the computer and said that it had been recalled since 2008...I asked them, why would y’all sell it if it had been recalled then..they just said that I can’t prove that I bought it from them.Second- since they don’t have buggies big enough for an infant car seat to sit in I went into the store carrying the car seat and asked if I could have help bringing in the bassinet..they said no because if they get hurt it’s on them..so I asked if they would open the door for me since I’ll be carrying a baby and the bassinet..they told me to use the door stopper.LAZY STAFF. LAZY. LAZY.LAZY.

THEY DO NOT ACCEPT NB SIZE AND THATS ALL I BROUGHT AND THEY DIDNT TELL ME THAT TILL I CAME BACK TO PICK UP & I was going to just do the trade for new clothes but they told me to back at 7 to pick up and that’s when they close!!!

Very nice employees, great deals. They see name brand clothes that are gently used for a great price. Some clothes still have tags. Baby gear is also sold here. Toys. Clothes. Shoes.

My wife recently went to this Denton Tx location to resale a VERY gently used VTech alphabet train that originally retailed for $40. They offered her $4.50 for the train and refused to take a 3piece baby monitor set stating it was missing a cord. It only came w/ 2 cords because the other monitor was a cordless/battery powered monitor. We use to get decent resale value on our things, but not anymore. Wed rather donate our items than to resale here....knowing that they more than triple and quadruple their buying prices. Well never return!

Cool place to turn in your old toys/clothes for money or store credit. Small store but they have lots of stuff. Friendly employees and quick service.

Love to shop here when I find certain items at a great price, but I will not sell to this store again! I took 4 huge bags & 3 boxes of toys/clothes/baby accessories, 2 strollers (single & double), a high chair, & a riding toy yesterday only to be given everything back except the high chair, strollers, & 1 box of clothes. I was only given $58 for what they did take & when I asked why they didnt take the rest of the items I was told that they did not take stuffed animals (only had 2 or 3 in there), newborn (only had 5-10 newborn outfits), & a few other items that did not relate to anything I brought in. When I asked why they didnt take over 50+ items of boys clothing size 24 months to 5T I was told that they were probably stained or worn down. How is never worn clothing stained or worn down?! Most of the items they did not accept can be found through out the entire store so to be told that my items were not good enough really pisses me off.

I took several boxes of my daughters clothes in to sale, after I went through all of them to match the sets together and make sure there were no stains. When I returned to get my offer they handed me almost everything back, saying they were worn out or stained, I argued with that fact since a lot of the shoes and clothes had never even been worn. Her response was that they only took things that had been bought within the last 6 months, and that if i took them to a different location I could probably sell all of it there. 🤔🤔🤔

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Bought a car seat from here for over $80 after tax. Looked up the retail price after & its only a $49 seat. Absolute TRASH place.

Took over 100 pieces of name brand clothing in better condition then the stuff they have on the racks and they only picked 8 or so items. Waste of time. Dont bother bringing you stuff to this location cause they clearly dont want it. Wont be doing business at their establishment in the future.

I am a regular coustomer of Once upon a child. I came to drop off about 15 items for resale at 4:58pm after calling and asking what was the latest time I could drop off. I was told 5:00pm. I headed straight there knowing I would make it just in time. I was told that they had already stopped taking clothes 10 minutes after I called. I find that very unprofessional. I could understand if I were later, but it wasnt 5:00 pm yet. I will not be shopping here anymore. I will take my business to kid to kid in highland village. They have always had much better coustomer service, but the drive took more time.

Decent place to shop. Just make sure you know what the name brands retail for otherwise you could end up paying full price for something that is used.I dont recommend selling your items to this store unless you want to get ripped off. I took in a large bag of clothes all in great condition and they only took like 10 items and told me the rest were stained and to worn out. First off I wouldnt sell things if they were stained and secondly theyve only been worn by one child and nothing is worn out. I wouldnt try to resale things if they werent in really good/new condition.Also they said the wait was about 45 mins and I ended up spending over 2 hours there.

I went in on a Friday with two boxes of clothes to sell and whatever I did not sell was going to give my nephews. Called back when I realized that the 20-30 pairs of pants that I had in the box and (knowing they only took 1 pair of pants) were gone and had been given away. Talked to the manager Crystal and she pretty much had a deal with it attitude. Not even a Im so sorry is there anything I could do. Those were not there items to give away and it was there mistake and I will get it resolved by getting in contact with corporate. I am a frequent customer and will not be buying or selling here ever again. Buyers and sellers beware of this place. They are super rude. If I could give a 0 stars I would.* I feel like I needed to update this post. Since my last post I contacted corporate and told them about my experience with OUAC Denton. I was right away contacted by one of the store managers (Aaron) to apologize about the situation and what happened. He did not have to do this as it was not at all his fault in any way but was probably the most sincere out of all of the people I had spoken with about this situation. I had said that I would never take or buy any of my kids clothes to this store but because of Aaron I feel like I will defiantly give them another shot.

I used to shop and sell here years ago and decided to sell some of my daughters stuff that was is very good condition. They turned down some shoes, they said was because of wear ect but when I went shopping around they had shoes with straight up mud and worn out soles. The things I brought in were clean stain free and hardly worn at all. I wont be going back at all to sell or shop.

This place is a very good place to get deals for your kids. And i get the employees are busy but they always seem inconvenienced when i ask a question or when I try to bring clothing in to trade for store credit.

Cute used childrens clothes in good condition, and some gear. They occasionally have big sales on top of their low prices.

They say the buy baby clothes but dont try every time i go the list of what they buy gets shorter. This time they dont accept sleepers. Also recently discovered they dont accept socks,hats gerber brand anything ,sleepers, new born size clothes and there was something else i have since forgot. Will not be back to this place huge waste of time.

Close in that my kids dont wear anymore I understand that maybe some of them will be stained but also the other clothes could have been bought but since they care more about Style and then anything. on the website and on here it says in buy and sell it doesnt say anything about Style so I will not be coming here anymore. if they want to care more about style than they need to put that on here and on their websites.

Dont recommend this place to anyone if trying to resale your baby stuff.. they turned away all the toys I took in a baby play mate all in clean condition and a ton of other clothing because it was worn stained or because they werent sets REALLY?!? ummm yes people use clothing to cloth their children and how warn out can babies clothes be size 0-18monthes really? Even turned away a brand new onesies and nb shirts still in packaging? They pretty much just take what they want.. will never go back again!!! There was two shirts that are the exactly the same shirt But one was on sale and we thought the other one will be on sale too because it was the same shirt and they said no it’s not on sale and I can tell the girl was kinda of upset after.

Manager was very rude and would not let me return a bouncer that i had just purchased for 80 dollars. And they didnt let me know all equipment was final sale upon purchase. Very bad customer service
