Short checkout lines are just a small part of their customer service but these days very rare! In this gem of a grocery store you will find some hard to find items the big box stores simply will not carry, they also have locally grown food, … and a butcher! They will bag your groceries, put them in your cart, and even put them in your car rain or shine if you want/need them to.

Very friendly staff. The cashier who helped me, Rosie, was particularly sweet. She was polite and made my shopping experience complete. Ill definitely stop back by to shop here. Seems like a great alternative grocery store to keep me from stopping by the big box guys.

I go to Oak Point for specific items. On this day I was checking out their beer selection at the request of my hubby. Fortunately I was immediately helped and given first hand info! Which required another visit two days later. Oak Point is on the ball!!! I also buy my ground beef here, it tastes so much better than Walmart ground beef. Thanks Oak Point!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. HIGHLY unprofessional ‘manger’. Would not do business with these disgusting people. I’ve shop and spent much of my money at this business but will definitely inform everyone I know about the way they treat customers! Shame on you !

A friend of mine had one of your Blueberry Cream Cheese King Cakes shipped to me in Georgia. Even after the transit, its still fresh and tastes amazing!

Normally I love Oak Point, but my last 2 visits have been ridiculous. 1st day I called at aprox 9:20, I asked if the breakfast hot bar was still open, and till what time? I was told it was open till 10am. When I got there I was told by the deli workers that it all gets pulled at 9:30am. I was very understanding, I did some shopping and left.Today Saturday Oct. 16thI called Oak Point at 8:45(I live 3 min from the store) Asked if it was open on Saturday, and till what time? I was connected to the DELI. The Very polite deli worker said that it was open, and would be stocked with food till 9:30am. Then the food will be pulled out, and the bar prepared for lunch. I was at Oak Point by 8:55am, the Breakfast bar was empty, out of EVERYTHING!!! But, its ok, because Mrs. Polite Delli worker said its stocked till 9:30am, so its all good. So I ask the closest Deli worker When will the Breakfast bar be stocked? The shortest deli worker said to me and my 20yo daughter it will be fully stocked by 9:30am I repeated to her the bar will be stocked by 9:30am? Yes, the bar will be full by 9:30am.We got a few other items and went back to the deli. At 9:38 I asked if they were still putting out Breakfast Bar food? No, we pull the Breakfast bar at 9:30....... They tried to say that me and my daughter misunderstood. I repeated what was said back to her to make sure she understood.Sorry, but this is unacceptable to me.We just left. I know the 4 plates we were wanting, would have been more than worth stocking the bar.

To me personally, I believe Oakpoint is FANTASTIC!! Sure somethings are a lil bit more pricey then say Walmart, let me inform you that havent shopped there before...if you enjoy cleanliness, freshness, variety of scrumptious prepared foods ie.from main courses, sides, salads, breads, thru delicious desserts. For the connoisseur of beverages theres a wonderful selection of wines and liquors. And the staff ive encountered were friendly and knowledgeable! I definately recommend you try them out!

Description of item for online ordering is misleading. I placed an online order and the description for the steak includes 2 steaks per pack. See photo. Upon putting my groceries up, discovered it indeed had only ONE steak. Please fix this. Totally inconvenient to drive back to the store to return. This has changed my opinion of ordering online from Oak Point. Buyer beware description for meat online is deceiving.

I love oak point. Ive never gotten bad groceries from here and they sell good brands. Best of all they dont have great value lol. Theres a little sushi area here and the sushi they make is absolutely amazing. And all around 8 or 9$. Yeah oakpoint will always be my go to for groceries.

Good price very helpful staff

This store is always surpassing expectations. They have great employees, who are helpful and respectful. They have a wonderful bakery, and fresh ready made meals available. They obviously take great care in curating liquor and wine, and often offer tastings of selected offerings. As far as pricing is concerned, I would say they are not quite as economical as Wal-Mart, but the difference is negligible. This is the best store in Watson, there is no doubt about it. Also, if it is King Cake season, don’t think about buying a cake from another grocery store. There are actual bakeries that may be better, but as grocery stores go, their King Cakes are the best and actually rival the top bakeries.Update: I noticed someone mentioned they aren’t enforcing masks. This person mentioned that despite the fact that they aren’t enforcing masks, they still didn’t leave the store because they had to get the King Cake they wanted from the store. Let’s think about that. . . this person thinks that enforcing masks is so important that a store should not allow people to enter unless they are wearing a mask. Because that is what “enforcing mask policy” is, isn’t it? However, this person decided getting their King Cake of choice was more important than the supposed terrible risk of contracting a virus. How do you reconcile these notions with one another?I am grateful that the employees at this store are not mask Nazi’s! If it is so important to you, get your King Cake somewhere else! Also, what does it matter as long as you are wearing your precious mask, you should be perfectly fine!

Store is nice and clean and the people who work there are very nice and friendly. Great food selection and their hot food is delicious.

They arent enforcing mask on everyone even though posted signs says must have on to enter. I saw over two dozen people just walking around & even stockers had their masks below their chins. I didnt leave cause I had to get best king cakes around. They had bout 10 flavors to pick from.

First time using their grocery pickup and I LOVED it. The bags were packaged nicely and the young man you delivered them was very nice. Oh and the 2 free sugar cookies were YUMMY!!! Will for sure use the service again and again.

My favorite grocery store in Watson! Staff are professional, courteous, and helpful. Shelves are always stocked. Self-serve, by the pound plate lunches are available. Great in-house made pork skins. Great selection of meats. Wine, beer, and spirits are plentiful and the selection is top notch. Plus, if you have questions about anything in the store, someone will know the answer. Shop local!

Never done a review on a business but I would be remiss to not chime in on Oak Point Watson. Clean, well stocked and never a long wait. The owner is a great guy and if anyone was around for the 2016 flood, Oak Point stayed open with open arms to the community.

Oak Point has the coffee creamer I love in stock most of the time. We shop there often. Cashiers are awesome helpful and friendly. Zoe went out of her way to help me find an extra baby for the king cake I bought so each of our grandsons could have one. We love this store.

This is one of the best supermarkets, hands-down, in the United States. The customers are so happy because the employees are so happy and because the employees are so happy the store is so clean and well stocked and well run. It’s a wonderful experience. Not to mention their home cooked foods and desserts are amazing.

New to area, about 2 years,... stopped in at Oak Point to get a few items. Super clean store and the pleasant aroma of baking and cooking permeate the air! Prices are competitive and their meats department is the best I have found in this area. Personnel is always upbeat!

I drive past three grocery stores to go here. Its that good.Selection is great. In house seafood and meat is phenomenal. The beer selection is the best around. Above all the employees are the best.

Great store! They have it all! Sushi, hot soup, bakery, deli, florist, smoked ribs, plate lunches, etc. Service is always top notch, store is always clean! Always busy, even though Walmart is right up the road. Prices are a little high but I’m willing to pay more because I get more.

Love this place. Always have great selection of wine. Teens working there pretty friendly, but play around a lot and cuss in the parking lot and drive their cars too fast. Love their Chantilly Cake. Prices are WAY TOO HIGH. And their produce isnt great. Some times I go in to get a Lg cup of Ice and a bottled soda some times they charge the price of a Lg soda for the Ice and some times its free!!

Store is spotless. Has an excellent deli. Fresh lunches served. Has a dining area. Excellent baked goods. Best King Cakes you will find anywhere. Friendly employees . Always someone willing to help you find what you are looking for.

Over priced on most stuff. Good for a quick trip but not a place to do your major shopping. The staff are incredibly friendly and really go above and beyond to be helpful. The staff is what gets them 4 stars, not the selection or price.

Other stores should take notice of this stores practices. Friendly, personable employees willing to go above and beyond, quality meat, hot lunches, wonderful salad bar, and a huge variety of craft beers along with a good selection of other alcohol. This store is a bit pricier but well worth the experience.

Store is very clean with a decent variety of choices. The employees are friendly and checking out is fast. However, I think the prices are a little much for just how close other stores are with lower prices for the same items.

Love shopping here! Always plenty of registers and great meat and produce. Prices are a little higher than Wal-Mart, but I like supporting a smaller business.

Oak Point is an example of how a grocery store should be run. They offer a pretty wide variety products and their prices are competitive. The staff are all extremely helpful and take time to make sure that their customers find what they need. This is not done by accident they take the time to get to know customers and learn how they can improve an already excellent store.

Daily specials on meat are great deals here, but pretty much everything else is overly priced -unless its listed in their weekly sale ad.Check out is fast and staff is friendly and professional. Oak Point beats any competition in this area.

You see Im a Veteran and have gotten old and have arthritis, its difficult to get around to different places, so when I go to Oak Point , they always help me. And yes they have young people that bag your groceries, with a smile,and a kind word.

The staff is always so friendly and they go above and beyond to help you with anything they can. If its raining, theyll walk you with an umbrella. If they dont carry a certain item that you like, they can add it to their request list! The deli has the BEST ready-to-go meals and the bakery is amazing! I cant say enough good things about Oak Point and the Sumich family who runs it! Great all around!

Right after the flood this was the only store that was open in town besides Walgreens! We were nasty and wet coming from a shelter when we went in to finally get some real food to cook ourselves and the owner or manager put his hand on my shoulder and said its gonna be okay we are all gonna get through this together!! I love the Christian atmosphere!!! While we were at the shelter they donated tons of food to help feed the 300 people that were there!!! God bless this store and its employees!!!!

Christian owned and operated. Always stocked, very clean. Deli has the best BBQ, smoked meats ever! I have never been disappointed with them.

I only go for wild salmon or beer. They dont offer organic stuff at all. No organic produce. No self checkout.Did a lot of electrical work in 2013-2014 for their Watson location and the Central location, so Im fairly familiar with owner. John has done well with his business and line of stores, and I salute his venture. Overpriced products, but its okay because they smile? Sure. Good beer selection, but....Their milk and orange juice products are an entire dollar more than Walmarts. Good Irish butter is a full dollar more (actually I think 1.25 more). Sardines, anchovies, these things are far cheaper at Walmart and its the same brands. You should really consider marking your canned good items down, small stuff is super expensive here. Everything else is a fifth or so priced more, if you get lucky. I avoid the store unless on a beer run generally, but I like the owners wife, because she did a good cake for my mom on Mothers Day. Plus, I won the raffle once, and still use the grill.Lead butcher refused slice a new ham for me, (On New Years Eve) after offering a five dollar tip. I suppose theres ways to do things and ways not to, but that was a mistake. The truth is, Whole Foods or Trader Joes is where Id prefer to shop, but this place is closer.I dislike how they dont offer organic stuff at all.But you got five stars from me cause Johns wife did well on moms cake.Id add a self checkout option and half the cashier staff to make amends for the overpriced dairy, OJ, etc.

Salad and sushi bar are great for a quick, healthy lunch option. Full alcohol department with many varieties of beers, wines & liquor.

Not somewhere I go all the time but when I do I have noticed that they always have a large varieties of all produce, meats, etc. They are rarely ever out a one certain item and friendly service.

Very clean and the produce is fresh. The bakery is good and plenty to choose from. The prices is a bit high. I always shop for the items on sale.

I eat lunch here often. I am not a buffet fan but the food here is fresh, lots of choices and spotlessly maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. I would give 5 stars but suffer from food allergies and the offerings are often not labeled. A potentially dangerous oversight.

Great service and fair prices. The people here are crazy friendly, you cant walk down on isle with a slight nonplussed look without having someone offer to help. Even though they are smaller, they keep more registers open than walmart, I can go in and get what I need in a fraction of the time as Walmart.
